The owner kept making…read moreexcuses about why he couldn't keep promises or plans, couldn't get the color correct although he stated "I wrote everything down" When I confronted him about not being happy he threatened me called me a "little boy" and he "wished he'd seen me outside" I spoke to the supplier, who stated he's done this more than once. I made a police report regarding his verbal threats to me and my mother. He continued saying "hang up the phone I'll kick your ass right now" when I hung up, he verbally continued to threaten physical harm but refused to speak or actually approach, idle threats. He's an absolute joke, nothing but a salesman with a bad attitude, every serious question we had was followed up with "I'm the best" "I've been in business for 20+ years" and a ridiculous display of photos from a book that weren't even close to what we were discussing. It was a hand selected proof of narcissistic display of his ego. James lost two jobs mine and my parents house and his exact words were "you think I give a fuck about these two" A clear indication of how he feels about "customers" If you read the plenty of one star reviews on both Google and Yelp, they have a consistent pattern of excuses, unkept promises and a poor attitude. If you check out all of my reviews you'll notice that when a business does right I'm quick to compliment and praise. My messages to the owner (James) and my patter of praise when deserved will solidify that I do not write reviews to hurt genuine businesses as James said I would do while threatening to physical assault me. My evidentiary proof and pattern of honest reviews will speak for themselves. I have never ever called the police on a business owners actions. This is certainly a first and should scream red flags to anyone considering work with James.

Half of them did not show up at all. Mike and Richie were very nice, without the hard sell that some of the other firms pushed. Their prices were much more reasonable and they were friendly and easy to work with. They actually came out to our house twice, because brfore we hired them, the project evolved as we spoke to a few different companies. In the end we had them replace our back patio, enlarge it a bit, and add a rounded area to put a dining table. We also replaced walkways and stoops. Luckily we contacted them early in the season and the day prior to the start of work we had 5 inches of snow on the ground. Mike and Richie were here every day (and not just stopping in once or twice) making sure that the crew and material was there and the job was proceeding properly. The crew worked very hard in dreadful weather. It was very cold with light rain most of the week and they worked right through it like champs. The whole job took about a week even with the weather. While the phrase is often beaten to death, these guys really did go "above and beyond." For example, they had to dismantle my plastic fence in order to get the big machine in the backyard. They put it back together and the gate latch now works better than the original installation did. Also, While we never discussed it, they buried a plastic utility pipe for future use and came with topsoil to cover where the tires had ruined the grass and smooth it all out, AlI have to do is re-seed and re-adjust the sprinklers. They also operate Kohler landscaping, so easy peasy.

Instead, they showed up with a large crew and knocked it out in only four days with another two days to complete the added custom water feature. They are super hard working and care deeply about doing a great job, always aiming to please the client. The price quoted, was also quite reasonable, especially given their attention to detail and service. Steve is wonderful to work with and also has a great eye. As a designer, I appreciate that and enjoyed interacting with him. We later contracted them to do additional work at our property, give the positive experience we had with them. The only pity was that we previously hired another firm to do the plantings, which took weeks to complete, given they sent few men each day to do the work. Above All, with their amazing crew, might have completed this in days. Thank you, Steve!

They suck you in with a competitive estimate in time and money and then once the project is underway you will continuously be told that they needed more of this and that so up goes the price and the finish date gets pushed back. Quality is average at best. After they were finished, it cost me a small fortune to have a reputable company fix their mistakes. They just don't care. There is much better quality out there for a much better price. Stay away.

He showed up promptly for the estimate and was very professional and respectful to my Wife and I.
