Let's start with me having dropped off my yellow seadoo pictured in the above photo I took it in first to get the stater replaced due the ignition pulling charge from the battery draining my battery every time I took it out on the water. Not only does Mel and Matt say they took it to the water and tested it after not one but six times of me taking it to the lake being disappointed in my watercraft's not running properly and dying each time I have taken it out after they say they tested it ran fine and was ready to go only to be embarrassed. I purchased a boat from him based on his clear statements that the boat was in good condition and included a 1-year warranty. Those statements turned out to be completely unreliable. In less than 6 months, the motor failed. I contacted him immediately and gave him more than enough time -- over 2 months -- to honor his warranty and fix the issue. Instead, I received nothing but repeated delays and empty promises: * "Next week" * "I'll come check it" * "I'll take care of it" None of it ever happened. At this point, it is hard to see this as anything other than a consistent pattern of avoiding responsibility. Once the sale is completed, follow-through appears to be nonexistent. Because of this, I have been forced to pursue legal action to recover my damages. Serious Warning to Buyers If you are considering doing business here: * Do not rely on verbal warranties * Do not assume issues will be handled after purchase * Be prepared for delays and lack of accountability Final Thoughts A seller's credibility is proven after the sale, not during it. I was looking for a rudder for my wakeboarding boat and called 3 California dealers, each of which had some excuse not to help. So I called out of state to Action WaterSports and Christian in service was very pleasant and said he could help me. He called the manufacturer in California, ordered the rudder, got it delivered within 3 days and had it shipped to me within 2 days. Less than a 1 week turnaround.
