Cool Barbershop with many good Barbars. The wait is not too long to see a Barber. The price is reasonable and standard.

Horrible service and haircuts. They disguise their work by flattening down your hair with hair gel. Once you wash it it out, you notice many uneven areas of the cut. I've had three haircuts there. They are very inconsistent with the experience of their barbers. It appears to be a training ground for new barbers. I personally will not go back and I definitely will not recommend this shop to anybody. read more

This is the best multicultural shop in the AV. The staff are friendly and can cut any type if hair. Of course I have a preferred barber Cyrus, but do t sleep in those ladies I don't know her name but the heavy set Hispanic lady in r he center can cut! I was made to feel very uncomfortable as soon as I enter the door. when my turn came to be served the lady seemed confused about the cut I wanted even after I showed her the picture with all different angles . She pulled my hair countless times and even jerked my shoulders hard to errect my head. I have had both neck and shoulder surgeries was not pleasant. Came here last minute and was happy to be seen before the doors closed. Great place and Juanita was very sweet. They do only take cash so make sure you have some before you visit but that's not a big deal (ATM across the street). Highly recommend to anyone looking for a haircut. Best haircut I've gotten since living in the AV (since 2014). Wilder did a great job cutting my hair, was very kind and soft-spoken, and very gentle even while giving the haircut. Usually you'll have the barbers that are quick and heavy-handed when they move your head - not Wilder. and quick too! In & out in less than 30 minutes! I am so disappointed with the female owner who cut my sons hair. We walked out and immediately I could see the fade was patchy that I walked back in there and had someone else fix it. So not okay. Still looking for my next go-to barber shop. Overall I was taken cared off however not without some frustration. (1) it's always good to see regulars be recognized and greeted, but it is important to cheerfully welcome new faces, these can be potential steady repeat customers. Sadly I was not and waited over 30min watching even some gents be served who came in after me. (2) It was not clear what the wait process was. Barbers should take turns greeting and showing new customers the ropes. (3) the young man cutting my hair was a bit distracted, not much in conversation, and ultimately did not meet my expectations. I had uneven hairs, a line, the fade was too high, and my hair on top cut too short. I got all the way home and had to come back after getting more mirrors and lights on it. His chair neighbor offered to fix it up and lined me up as well. I offered to pay, but he did not accept it. Now this was good customer service. There is definite talent here, and I really want to give these guys another chance, but the team has to pull together a bit more and show more customer service, positive energy, and it would be nice if they accepted multiple forms of payment. read more

We came in here to get our kids a buzz cut before going to a party over the weekend. The staff was super friendly and know how to make you feel at home. The whole shop had a very happy vibe. They are conveniently located near a great shopping area with department stores, movie theatre, grocery stores, etc. We were able to run a lot of errands and still have enough time to get them a cut. The prices here are phenomenal, a lot cheaper that what I expected. You get a lot more then what you pay for here. Disappointed in the service we experienced today. My husband went in for mid fade tapper and did receive what he asked for. The older lady who cut his hair rushed through his cut and when he asked for slight adjustments, she sighed and made facial expressions as she said "Next time you should ask before you sit down what is it you want exactly. If I cut it more, I'm going to charge you for another cut". I can understand someone wanting to finish a job quickly, however if you work in the service industry, you need to be educated in how you show respect and handle a business. I as a female get my hair cut plenty of times a year and never has any hairdresser charged me for asking them to trim some places. I have been coming to this barbershop for the past 10 years,I went from bringing one son to get haircuts to three, they also gave my son his first haircut. I love that I can come in and out of this shop with three little boys and be done in 20 min..give it take. The ladies and men they have working there love kids and are great with them.. And my boys love getting a lollipop after their haircuts. The owner is amazing and very cool, the haircuts are a little high, but it's fast and friendly service. Im not into it but a lot of people get the designs put in thier hair and it looks really good. THey are great with young oones also. I'm very disappointed at the city of Lancaster I used to live in Los Angeles there is barber shops every where and at very low cost prices in this city are way too high and the barbershops and their customer service are horrible. Said that Martinez Barber shop service is horrible today 4/02/2017 I showed up to the shop at 3:25 pm I ask one of the workers if they take credit card he said "No, only CASH". I turned around and look for an ATM to get the cash to get me a haircut it took me 5 min to get the cash at an ATM and get back to the location. I showed up to the location exactly at 3:30 pm and the doors were locked I waived at the workers nobody wanted to answer me. after waiting for 2 or 3 min a lady with a broken English came to the door and open it slowly and said " we are close the boys are tired" shamed on this place posting their hours and said they closed at 4 today Sunday. I guess they don't need anyones business with them. I assumed they only take cash because they want to skip taxes. I hope no body goes to this place... read more
