Took my kids to get a cut here cause I was really pleased with a previous barber prior to this visit. Unfortunately he wasn't there this time but I still decided to give them a try. The barber by the name of Emael was cutting my youngest hair, as he's still working on him I kindly asked him if he could trim a bit more off the top. He did, but quickly was talking crap under his breath but loud enough for me to hear it. I'm unbothered and don't react to things like this. But when I went to pay for my sons haircut, he had the audacity to charge me double simply cause I asked him to trim a bit more on a cut he was already working on. I was mind blown as I have never encountered a barber like this. Before all this, he seemed cool. Conversing with us and even gave my eldest some "wisdom" advice about making right choices in life, yet he turned around minutes later and demanded double pay for one cut. Sir, take your own advice, cause your a thief and I hope it makes you feel good stealing from a female. I paid him what he asked for, as I believe karma. Maybe he just really needs the money, since he's a sneaky barber and a thief, But that advice you gave my son, put it in action yourself and "make better choices in life"... You're a joke. read more

My husband was on the hunt for a new barbershop after our usual spot messed up both my husband and sons hair. I equate a messed up haircut to effed up eyebrows for a woman... it's devastating! Lol Especially when you have to walk around with it and wait for it to grow out. I told my husband about this place because I always see it since my nail shop is a few doors down. I know the exact haircut I wanted for my son and even sent him with pictures. According to my husband, they took their time with my son's hair and made sure it was perfect. And honestly, it is the best haircut he has ever gotten! He didn't quite catch the barbers name. He said it was Julian or Junior. But whoever it was, we will definitely be back with my son! After coming for the last 5 years, fed up with the new terrible barbers. Be careful who you go too, make sure they have experience and the ones who have experience make sure they do it on first come first serve basis, not make you wait an hour only for somebody to walk in and gets the seat first, some BS, but they lost two customers for life. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! I'm sad to have to post this for the good barbers that work here, but this one barber EMAEL did the unimaginable. For reference, he is the barber stationed next to the window. He charged me double for ONE hair cut. His excuse for doing that was that I asked him to trim a little more off the top of the cut he was already doing on my young son. That was enough for him to say "I have to charge you for 2 cuts now". Had he told me this when I asked, I would of refused, but he's sneaky. He didn't tell me that when I asked him, he told me this after the fact, when I was paying. I thought it was a joke! But this man was dead serious. That little trim I asked for took less then 3minutes and mind you, he was still working on my sons hair. Another barber there on the other hand charged me half of what this man wanted and did a way better job on my eldest, yet this thief charged me $40 for a mediocre cut on my youngest. Make that make sense. I've been to many barbers throughout my life and I have never experienced something this ridiculous. Never again!! Beware of this barber in particular, especially if you're a female visiting this establishment on your own with your children. read more

Went for the first time today and left disappointed. Note that this review is only for one barber. Not sure what her name is, but she has short hair and glasses. She cut my hair okay, but didn't really listen to what I wanted. If you want a basic fade, she's probably fine, but if you're like me and are picky about your hair, go somewhere else or wait for a different barber and try your luck there. Barber Shop II on Palmdale Blvd. is much better imo. On the plus side, the shop is very clean, inexpensive ($11 for a men's haircut), and my wait time was short (but I also went in the middle of a weekday). read more

PLEASE READ!!! When it comes to my hair, I really don't mess around. Which is why I'm doing this yelp review right now. This barber shop is an absolute shit show. They open at 9, and have only one barber from the time they open, until whatever time the rest of the barbers decide to show up. All barbers are very irresponsible and come in 2hrs late. I've explained myself in detail so many times about how it is I want my hair, (and believe me it's the most basic haircut), and yet they still manage to screw it up TERRIBLY!!!!! I have my barber that I normally wait for, but even he makes me wait 1hr-1hr30 for him to show up, and l still don't come out satisfied with my hair. I'm tired of coming here, and never coming out with a decent haircut.
