I moved out of the country for 5 months and wrote countless E-mails asking him to move forward with the case. He did not answer. Upon my return the relative made payments until 9/2014. I filed a small claims case in 5/2016 and the relative's attorney was able to win the case due to Mr. Dunklin's negligence. He stated that the starting date for Statute of limitations was 08/2010 because her attorney said the loan was "payable upon demand". The defendant in the case has attacked me throughout the 7 years with extreme abusive E-mails anytime the loan was mentioned. It was very painful and traumatic. All because Mr. Dunklin could not be bothered to set a court date, or even answer my E-mails. I had given him a deposit which would cover this. When I was finally able to reach him by phone (he only answered because it was a new number and he did not know it was me), he immediately said that he would return the $1,500 retainer.
