Doesn't regard all posted no soliciting signs, litters on property. Looked directly at my sign and…read moreproceeded anyways. They've now done this multiple times.

Gabriel quickly responded to my request for a quote and provided a competitive offer for the…read morerequested services. The task at hand was to replace all of the piping and drip lines for my trees and bushes and to fix the sprinkler system for my lawn with the dream of having the front yard look like a desert oasis instead of a desert war zone. System upgrades were to include an new control panel that would let me control the water in my yard from an app on my phone like a god in the garden of Eden. The laborers arrived on time as scheduled and promptly went to work. Picks and shovels made way for PVC pipe, a far cry better than the leak-prone flimsy black pipe it was replacing. About 9 hours later, the crew was done . . . or so they thought. And then things got difficult. A leak that was expected to be resolved by replacing the drip system was discovered to be part of the sprinkler system instead. A broken pipe hidden amidst the roots of a towering Chinese Elm was the elusive culprit. Gabriel and I both knew immediately than a return trip would be required. Testing the watering stations from the control panel on my app felt more like a game of roulette than a god-like power rush. Some stations came on, others remained silent, and one said "fault," but I didn't accept the blame. Day 2 the shovels flew and roots that had broken the pipe regretted their foul play as the lay in pieces on the resultant mound of mud. New pipes were run and the water again flowed. Yet the mystery of electricity continued to taunt us. Gabriel and I worked together to figure out where the communication breakdown was with little success. We were both frustrated. He was frustrated because the project had become more complex and time consuming than he had anticipated. I was frustrated because we had only attained 90% of a full solution. Thankfully, we were both professionals and did not let our frustration control our reactions. We agreed that I would pay him in full and that he would return in a couple of weeks to trouble-shoot the unanticipated electrical issues for a reduced fee. I will update this review once that work is complete. The tentative four-star rating is based on the competitive pricing, dependability, professionalism, and persistence of Gabriel in pursuing a solution to a problem that was far more complex than either of us anticipated. He was reasonable with me and I was reasonable with him as we dealt with the unexpected. I am hopeful than when he returns we can get to the 100% solution so that I can upgrade the rating to a 5. Standby.
