I don't have much experience with with hardscaping or landscaping but Daniel and father were extremely transparent when giving us our estimate and patiently listened to us as we tried to explain our vision for our backyard. I hired this company and I am so happy! Daniel, the son, started out so responsible, it seemed, but it didn't prove to be true. After I hired them, I haven't been able to get Daniel to return my calls! But, the father is the one who does the actual work. After a couple of communication problems, and the crazy wind causing problems the day they worked, we got through it, they came back to finish up, and things are GREAT! It proved extremely hard to find a good, reliable landscaper, but I have found just that in Medina's! After the second time here, my yard was fantastic, unbelievably GOOD!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! At first, I thought they were going to be a dream come true. Daniel was polite and listened to what we said..... Then they came. They completely ignored one aspect and that was to not touch our baby blood orange tree, they chopped ALL THE ROOTS and now it's dying. The workers were CONSTANTLY on their phones, sitting down and smoking. We were promised one day, which turned into 3. We got the wrong soil (not Medina's fault) and asked if they could return the soil and get what we needed.... He said it would be $1000 more. I called the soil company, it would only be $50 more!!!!!! So shady!!! They didnt even FINISH the project and took advantage of us as I had to go have surgery, I left the money out for my husband so he could pay them. Daniel LIED to my husband and said it was more than the agreed upon amount and since I was in surgery my husband could not verify. THEIFS!!!
