We were so happy we had them come back and remove the same type stuff from around our pool and install pavers. Pricing was within our budget, and Nestor's team was respectful of our property. Each day they cleaned up before they left. While this may not be important to some, I appreciated that the entire team wore company shirts each day. We are thrilled with the outcome of the work from Nestor and his crew. We finally decided to take his advice and use pavers to extend our driveway instead of concrete. Everything about working with Sephora was amazing. From the very beginning. Nestor was quick with his responses and helpful with his suggestions. We had just moved into the house when we realized that our backyard landscaping in the real estate photos didn't actually exist. But the even bigger issue is that we had this gulley where pavers should have been but didn't. We also had this round mud pit framed by the pavers that we didn't know what to do with. Anyway! Nestor filled the gulley and the round pit with pavers. It's seriously so seamless that you can't tell what was where. Also the lighting! Omg my husband had to have backyard lighting and i didn't understand it. Until we had it! We also had some electrical that wasn't working and some extra work needed to be done. But there wasn't anything Nestor and his crew couldn't fix. A little extra time and a little extra money but totally worth it in my opinion. They also planted some ficus that i hope grow really fast so we don't have to look at our neighbors house. When I'm not being lazy, I'll definitely be calling them for maintenance. They trimmed some wildly overgrown trees back and made our jungle look like an oasis! read more

I received a quote for a tree removal from Nestor which was to my liking, and when he was on site evaluating the tree I asked about him doing the rest of my property as well. He gave me a great quote and really seemed to have faith in his guys. They showed up on time, got to work right away, and I knew immediately I was going to be happy with the finished product based on the skill and hard work of the 3 men who initially showed up to start tackling my project. I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and though they were working very quickly/efficiently, they were also very safe and respectful of me and my neighbors. The tree came down faster than I could've imagined (40 foot pine that was dead) and they cut up and left the big chunks for me for future firewood, but took and hauled the brush/branches away. They took care of my property in a way I never could, did what would've been weeks of work for me in about 6 hours, and were totally friendly and courteous throughout the day tire process. The payment options were good and I am just so pleased with the quality of service I received from Sophora Landscaping. Do not go with this company! He reached out and there was an agreed-upon price and services offered. Then on the day of the landscaping services, he never showed up. When I reached out to ask what time he would be servicing my house, he said, he mixed me up with another customer and wouldn't be able to service my house until the late afternoon. "We can do $100 a visit, which includes mowing, weedwacking, trimming, checking irrigation for leaks, and adjusting times properly to the season. Basic Weed control" When they got here, they said it was too big of a job and would now be $500. They are unprofessional and do not do agreed upon price. I would not recommend them. This company response to my review is to lie. I gave him the address and all of the information was given for an accurate quote. I have someone else coming to do it for $100. Was referred to Nestor by my brother who had his whole backyard remodeled at the same time that I had done it too but with a competitor. Nestor showed up when promised and gave me a fair price to fix some mistakes from their competitor and add a fountain basin. We were extremely happy with his work, follow through and communication. The hardest part these days is getting someone reliable to even show up but Nestor made us feel like it was back in the good old days when you could get a contractor and they did a great job. We have used Sophora 2 more times since then to fix lighting issues and replace a bunch of trees that burnt up in the summer heat. We are building in AZ and made a trip to choose a landscaper. Sophora basically stood us up the first time we met , so we rescheduled and they did show. We liked him and seemed as if they were going to do a good job , but after giving more and more info to them, and reminding them several times , we never got a bid in 8 weeks- after my last reminder for a bid, they didn't even respond . Nestor came out personally to do the consult for our backyard. We needed weeds removed, rock put down and some pavers for a walkway. He was very friendly and got me the quote pretty quick. Then he helped me shop for the rock and pavers through text and pictures. Some may not care to do it that way but it was perfect for me. The next day, Monday morning, his guys were here and almost completely done by 2pm! They finished this morning by putting in the pavers and it looks fantastic! Quality work. Quality customer service.
