Damage done to side of boat at this facility

We took our boat to Martinez Interiors to have the carpet replaced. We dropped it of Father's Day weekend 2021 and didn't get it back until July 14th. My husband had to go there daily to ask for them to finish it so we could have it to use over the summer break. When my husband brought the boat home there was a big hole in the side of it. It wasn't there before and Eddie from Martinez Interior knew the boat was damaged at his facility. When my husband asked Eddie about the damage Eddie sent my husband a picture of the damage to the side of the boat and said see I have a picture of it. Eddie didn't share the picture of the damage until after we noticed it. As many of Eddie's other customers it took forever for him to start working on our boat. The boat stayed outside in his yard for several weeks before he finally pulled it in to work on it. Eddie takes no responsibility for the damage.

Just how incompetent Martinez Marine is and down right dangerous

Update *** 3/10,2020 When these guys did my interior they did the Barajas on my trailer including install of a new surge break... and this what they did , almost killed me and my family The shame is, there is not negative stars. I took my boat to them to be redone, new interior repair gel coat new gauges new windscreen etc. I dropped off the boat in February and was told it would be completed by May 1st. It was not done until The beginning of August. The upholstery came out nice but the attention to detail was terrible. Small items were missing and the fish finder and some of the other electronics where not rewired after the reassembly. We didn't discover that until we were on the lake. Eddy said he would send and man on a Thursday morning to complete several items and they never showed or called . When I called him, he made excuses and said he would personally come do the finishing work on Saturday. he is hours late and has ruined my plans for the second day this week. I missed the entire summer with my son , the whole reason for doing this was to enjoy the summer before my son turned 18 and went back to school. Well the summer is over and the boat is not complete. And to boot I missed a half of a day with my son today only to have Eddy not yet show up to complete the project as promised. Dealing with Eddy has made it so I don't even like this boat. It was supposed to be a fun toy in my life and for my family to enjoy, but has become a source of anxiety and disappointment. I would suggest you use any other marine shop but Martinez Marine . The overall experience is disappointing and they have no business staying in business with this kind of customer service.

Martinez did an outstanding job on my jet ski seat cover. He was able to finish faster than I had imagined. The carbon fiber sleek look along with the nice touch of gray, made the seat unique. Hands down , Martinez is one of the best in the business. Thanks!

After being bounced around by other upholsters, I found Martinez Marine Interiors and they were great! Professional, responsive and on time! They are a busy yard with a lot going on but they are running it efficiently!

Wow I wish I could give 10 starts let me start of by saying I noticed some wood rot on my hatch after looking around I decided to try out Martinez marine they are an hour and a half away from my house but boy oh boy am I glad I took a chance on them right from the get go Eddie was super Knowledgeable about my problem After Agreeing to the job he got into it and we decided it was best if we replaced the whole hatch due to damage in other areas he found so he begin working on it this whole process was done in five days keep in mind I called him 1 week before memorial day weekend and he had it done in time for me to take my boat to the river not only did he go above and beyond he matched my ultra stitching to the dot he also took it upon himself to add an extra shock for my hatch to open and close that I never had before it will now make the hatch open and close a lot easier the work these guys does is absolutely phenomenal they do not cut corners anywhere I am so happy the work they did I have included some pictures thank you so much Eddie and to your staff I also had some damage side molding they replaced that as well without leaving one scratch anywhere on my paint I would definitely recommend these guys for anything marine.

It would be impossible to say to much about this shop and Eddie. The work they did on my boat was top notch - the materials and quality of install are perfect. My engine cover was junk (rotted) and he made me a new one, rock solid with headrests and all. The black piping I asked for was done with carbon fiber material. He even did quality work in the areas you dont see, a true master of his craft. I would highly suggest you look into this shop and see some of their work before you go and spend money anywhere else. I would do it again in a heartbeat if the need arose. A+A+A+

My back seat of my Jet Ski fell off on the highway on the way to Lake Perris. Martinez fixed it while i waited. It came out Awesome, for an excellent price. Thanks Martinez

I contacted my dealer, and they told me most of the parts were discontinued and there was nothing they could do. I was seriously considering selling the boat and buying a new one. Instead, I decided to explore retrofitting the boat with modern digital systems. After some research, I found Gearhead Marine. From the very first conversation, I knew I had found the right shop. Courtney was fantastic. He clearly explained all my options and confidently told me, "When I'm done, you're going to have a brand-new boat." He was absolutely right! He completely overhauled my electrical and electronic systems, retrofitted everything to modern digital standards, and even took care of several issues on my trailer that I hadn't mentioned. He performed two separate sea trials to make sure every system was working perfectly before calling the job done. I couldn't be happier with the results. The boat now runs and handles better than it did when it was new. Courtney's expertise, attention to detail, and professionalism are outstanding. I will never let another boat mechanic touch my boat again. If you have an older boat or new one for that matter, that needs work, do yourself a favor and take it to Gearhead Marine. You won't regret it!

I bought my boat from Inland Boat Center in March 2024 through Taylor and Mr. Hellman. At the time…read moreof sale, the experience was excellent--very responsive, very friendly, and full of assurances that made me feel confident doing business there. I purchased a 2021 Manitou Aurora for $32,000, which I still own and have only put about 30 hours on. A major part of that conversation was a trailer they agreed to sell me for $2,800 out the door. I was told it only needed brakes and that I would get a call when it was ready. I followed up several times and kept hearing delays, including that the wrong brakes had been installed and they needed more time. Eventually the communication stopped completely. Since then, no one has followed through, no one has updated me, and now the original agreement is treated as if it never happened. Instead, the only option presented is a new trailer for around $7,000. I also recently asked what they would offer if they bought the boat back. After paying $32,000 and barely using it, I was offered $16,000. Even getting that answer took repeated effort because emails and calls were ignored until I physically walked into the showroom. Service has been equally disappointing. When I bought the boat, I was specifically told that because I am a Canyon Lake customer they would arrange pickup and delivery for service. When I called recently, I was told there is now a $200 transportation charge and that I would need to take it up with Taylor. I texted Taylor directly again and still received no response. I was also quoted around $1,000 for a basic oil change and impeller replacement, while other boat service centers quoted substantially less for the same work. I have been in sales for over 20 years, and one thing I understand clearly is that customer service after the sale matters more than the sale itself. What stands out most here is how dramatically the customer experience changed once the transaction was complete. Before the purchase, communication was immediate. After the purchase, promises became difficult to verify, follow-up became almost nonexistent, and basic customer service became a struggle. For anyone considering buying here: document everything, get every commitment in writing, and do not rely on verbal promises alone. Based on how this has been handled, I would not purchase from Inland Boat Center again, and I would not recommend that friends, family, or anyone I know buy or service a boat there.
