We chose to…read moreuse TPO as our new roofing layer and also got the downspouts, scuppers, vents, and fans replaced. We are very happy with the results and the way the job was done. We chose Pro Roofing NW due to the way John Borbridge handled our interactions. He was prompt and clear in answering our questions and concerns and worked with us to give a good price on the estimates. The job was started in the same week it was scheduled (though it was delayed by 1 day) and finished promptly (4 days total including down spout installation). The roof installer was led by Teles and they were professional and thorough in their work. In addition to the plywood that needed to be replaced, the fascia and barge boards also had to be replaced in certain sections. We found them honest when they recommended replacing just those sections since the wood was fine in all the other sections. They also painted the replaced sections to match the existing color of the house (we bought the paint for them). What stood out to us was they worked with us to ensure the work was done to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them!

I received an email asking for a picture of the site, so I sent a picture of my storage shed, which needed moss removal. I'm fairly certain he would know what a single family one story home would look like so I didn't send a picture of the house, although I did say I needed the house roof cleaned of tree debris and the gutters cleared. Well time went by and NOTHING. So I emailed back and asked. MY PROJECT WAS TOO SMALL for them to consider. But gee, he was willing to send his son out to do it - For $250. Considering they were local to the area, so not a long drive service charge, and the job itself could be completed in an hour, I think the fee is very HIGH. I would have used them twice a year for maintenance and any needed repairs but I guess business must be so good they don't need mine. I would do it my self, but I am a somewhat disabled vet and I can't climb stairs or in this case, a ladder.

I ask my retired uncle…read morewho built homes who he used as a roofer and he told me he used Cogent for years and was always happy. I called them up and got on their list. Yes, they have a long waiting list, but it's worth the wait. They finally came out this week and as with everything else in my life, the roof was worse than anticipated. I assumed as much because that's the way things work with me. They ended up having to take off all the sheeting, vents, the works! The roof was put together with 3/8" ply from 40+ years ago. They replaced all that out with much thicker stuff; I think it was 1/2" or even 5/8"; not sure. The eves don't sag any more and I can't count the rafters from standing outside anymore as the roof is flat now. It only took them about 1/2 day longer than anticipated too. These are some hard working men!!! I would have died on the first day up on that roof but they just kept going. This is one of these rare times in life when you hire someone to do something and they do better than you think. That is pretty rare now days. If you need a roof, give Cogent a call.

His quote was right in line with the others I had gotten but he took the time to go over the details with me and describe the process for the metal roof I wanted. At the end of the job they didn't charge me extra for the extra work and told me the rest had gone so well that the price includes the repairs to the problems they had found! That is integrity.
