I was over due on on some of the maintenance my car needed and took it over to Clifford's as we have been seeing them for years. It is currently under new ownership and am happy to say it is the same great service I have always gotten. I initially brought my car in for a timing belt replacement and alignment. After bringing in my car they called and confirmed that the timing belt should be replaced and also let me know the alignment was good but may need to be serviced later on. I had asked if they would also do a fluid flush on my transmission as it hadn't been changed since it come from the dealership (~190,000 Miles) and was going to do it myself but decided I would leave it to the professionals since I was already taking my car in. My car is running like new again and couldn't be happier. As mentioned, I won't hesitate to return for any future service my car needs!

I've had my car there 3 times for service since they first opened their doors a few months ago. In…read moreeach case, I was totally satisfied with the quality of the work done. The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

It seems the not so qualified team of technicians at another service provider that installed these sway bars were less than stellar. The kicker was when I was told by Damon, "no charge". The team diagnosed the issue, tightened up the sway bars and even drove a couple more times after per my persistence before I picked it up. You have earned all my future vehicle repair/service work. Wrench Masters provides horrible service and horrible customer service. They were aggressively…read moreyelling and defensive when we asked for a work order about shoddy work on my car. We paid for services that were not done, and to confirm my suspicions I took it other places for a second and third opinion, which confirmed that the work that was paid for was not done at all. The other work I had done on other jobs was also done with (I think used) third-party parts, and he admitted that he makes his own "parts" DIY (an example of his own admission: a transmission line). He refused to give us our work order, or the information of the windshield replacement "professional" (since they would be held liable, not Wrenchmasters) because I highly suspect that instead of hiring a certified windshield replacement professional (I had bad seals and was worried about the safety of my windshield in a car accident) they did it themselves, AGAINST federal law. They just put my old windshield (with rust on the edges) with my original seals (some sections were missing before, and were still missing), although we paid to replace the seals. They were very unprofessional. They would not give us any money back, and would not even cover the cost of the seals that they couldn't find (but we easily could), but they said they could "look at it" although he still insisted we could not be around for the windshield seal replacement. I do not believe he is honest, and I would NOT recommend his services. I believe he takes advantage of his customers.
