They were super sweet when we requested they make sure to write out for us that we will be receiving the money back after the photoshoot completes. I did get the money back a few days after and was super happy with mostly everything! The only catch is that even though it is advertised as winning a "free" portrait you do actually have to just pay shipping to receive it. So I got back most of the deposit, minus $37. We felt it was worth it but definitely something to keep in mind as it's not an insignificant amount of money! We did ask if we could pick it up instead since we live locally and didn't anticipate spending any money like they had led me to believe when specifying it was completely free but they manufacture the portraits outside of the state so without paying to have it shipped we wouldn't receive it. Definitely docked a star for it out of lack of transparency on just that front but we really are looking forward to it arriving (in 6 months) and loved the experience, the photographers especially made it so fun!
