They should have never touched my deck if they didn't think staining it was appropriate. I contacted the company within months of sealant application, and after persistent back-and-forth with Amanda (the manager), the owner (Doug) eventually came out and assessed it and resealed the deck. However, the issue worsened a few months later. Amanda continued the back-and-forth, making me wait for months at times. They now claim the warranty is up, though initially, it was just a few months after application that I contacted them. If a sealant was inappropriate, they should've informed me during the inspection. Even the owner resealed it. If resealing wasn't a viable solution, why offer it? It seems they aimed to run out the warranty. This company is highly unprofessional and won't take responsibility for their work. I've asked for a refund multiple times. Their motto 'Relationships matter more than the brush or the ladder' is far from the truth. They don't care about their work and they definitely do not care about their customers. I don't usually write reviews, but people deserve to know how subpar this company is. I'm beyond disappointed, out $600 for staining that didn't work and destroyed my deck, and now have to pay for a whole new deck. You better believe I will not be using this company to replace it. Working with Blake Kercher and Rejuvenate Flooring has been a complete nightmare…read more We found Blake through his great reviews online and felt that he was best equipped to do a marbled epoxy floor after meeting him and seeing sample photos of work he has previously done. Despite showing Blake photos of the floors we would like and him agreeing to be able to do the work, we ran into the following issues: - The floor looked NOTHING like what we discussed. It turned out that Blake does not know how to do marbled epoxy floors. - Accused us of not wanting to pay him after pointing out that the floor never cured and that shoes, socks, and furniture were getting stuck to it - Constantly unresponsive to phone calls and text messages before and during the work - Delayed in sending contract and was NEVER on time to meet or do any of the work - Kept our house keys overnight and never returned our permanent parking pass which made us extremely uncomfortable and requires us to now change the locks - Complained about other customers not paying him and affecting his ability to do work in our unit - Harassed us via repeated text messages for payment before the floors were complete during the weekend. Blake previously refused to work or respond to us on the weekend because it was "family time", however he expected us to respond back to him on a weekend. After showing Blake the errors in his work, he became irate and aggressive in our home. In addition, he... - Became verbally abusive - Left belongings in Uhaul truck (that he initially crashed) and had us move it back in on our own - Continuously complained about being out of money since other customers have not paid him - Yelled and became irate when we showed errors in the work, including fish eyes, dirt in the epoxy, tacky spots that would never dry, etc. - Refusal to finish the terms of his contract or speak to us in a common place regarding next steps - Refusal to pay for $200 decor and refrigerator broken during moving furniture to re-do floor - Refusal to re-paint baseboards that he splashed epoxy on - Refusal to continue paying for a hotel since furniture cannot be moved back into the unit by telling me that "i'm on my own" - Backed Uhaul against fence requiring me to squeeze my furniture and household appliances through limited space and move on my own In the end, Blake has refused to communicate with us or complete the terms of the contract. He is still accusing us of non-payment, however we have paid everything outlined in the contract. I have notified the appropriate authorities of his unprofessional actions and have informed our building manager to prohibit him from doing work in the building.

I've used some of the bigger painters in town and I had been wanting to try a smaller business and I figured I'd give these guys a shot for our kitchen cabinets. They seemed like a good option for a bit more affordability, so I figured I'd try them. You get what you pay for. What a mistake. This is the experience I had. We started out totally normal. Their crew of two guys came out on the first day to tape everything off in the kitchen. Totally fine. Only one guy comes the next day so the other can get a deck done on another house. I guess that's how they can keep prices lower. There's a few different things that happened at this phase and we gave them a lot of grace throughout all of it, but the short version is the crew was not up to the task of properly painting cabinets. I did find out later from the owner that he's worked with this guy before for many outdoor jobs and for whatever reason he just expected him to be able to do cabinet work, so that tells you a lot. This was really frustrating and a waste of 2 days of work, but this was clearly just a contractor who didn't know how to paint cabinets. As long as they brought out their A-Team to fix this up, it would've been fine. Their A-Team was able to come out two days later and I did a walk-through with them in the morning. This seemed more like what I was used to and they seemed like a solid crew. I went on a walk and come home to find out that the owner had called them and said that he would not pay the agreed-upon rate and that the crew is leaving. A completely understandable reaction. It took the owner 40 minutes to reach out to me and try and figure out next steps. I was immediately told multiple times that this is a listen conversation, not a talk conversation, which quickly devolved into him saying how much of a champion he's been throughout the entire process and complaining about the labor pool he has to work with. Joe Iannelli took a completely different--and honest--approach. He resanded and refinished the floors to achieve one uniform color, saving me a significant amount of money compared to installing a new floor. Joe worked entirely on his own, carefully protected everything, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. He has a great personality and strictly specializes in hardwood flooring, which truly shows in the quality of his work. I later referred Joe to a client with a million-dollar home who was told by several companies that she needed all new floors. Joe refinished them instead, saving her a lot of money, and several of her neighbors ended up hiring him as well. Joe also refinished the floors and stairs in my second home. The previous owner had removed the stair runner and painted the sides white. Joe restored the stairs to beautiful natural wood. Everyone comments on the floors and stairs and asks who did them.
