I called MET LIFE and they inadvertently paid on the wrong policy, and sent a letter in May (2 months ago) asking for the money to be returned. Not only were they PAID, but they also sent the entire amount to collections. I drove to the Office and asked again to FIX this.. Disgusting that I had to make numerous calls and physically drive there to attempt to get them to BILL the correct Policy (also Met Life) $395 is a lot of money to me. They kept the payment and sent me to collections.

Jankovic is so gentle with my mouth and so careful not to cause any pain (as I have really bad anxiety). She had worked on my father years back and eventually myself when I decided to start back getting dental work. I stopped going after she had fixed my problem because I was so busy and other issues with my body had to be addressed and had no longer any reason to go back until several years later, which is now, I started having trouble with my teeth (my fault). I searched and searched looking for dentists as she had moved from old location. I reviewed customers reviews on several dentists as I really had to fix my teeth. Finally!! I found her, got in to see her. She remembered me, took care of my problem, again, was so careful not to cause me pain. I'm so happy!!!

First, they waited months to bill my insurance, which resulted in their x-ray fee being rejected because the surgeon they referred us to had done more x-rays. It took almost a year and multiple phone calls to my insurance and their office to figure this out. Eventually, their office told me they would waive the fees because it was their fault for waiting so long to bill. They said their agreement with the surgeon was that if he wanted more x-rays, he waived the fee. Due to their delay, the x-ray bill from his office went through first. They told me that the charges were being removed, and the matter was settled. Here it is, 2.5 years later, and they are now billing me, claiming I have to pay for the exam. My insurance should have covered this at 100%. I haven't worked for that employer or had that insurance for 18 months. I am paying them to get them to go away. If they generate another bill, I'm going to get a lawyer. DO NOT do business with them.

Then, another bill for a set fee service with 2 installments with a guaranteed fixed price for a crown with no additional services performed...it was routine and as expected for the original paid in full amount and I was told I owed $0 at the end before both bills came rolling in. After Columbine Dental refused to respond to 2 letters and a phone call, I escalated my dispute of both nefarious bills to insurance. Something drastically changed at Columbine Dental as I would have rated them 5 stars before this fraud. They refused for 3 months to respond to 2 letters and a phone call and a rich dentist is threatening to ruin my credit if I don't give him $270. I told the insurance company it's in their system what occurred as I'm not privy to any of it and they'll see I'm right as I have 10 years auditing and accounting experience with a B.S. in Financial Accounting before becoming a Sr. IT Engineer Consultant the past 20 years. This is the shadiest business practice I've experienced in 5 years since Sears sold me a defective washer. Now, this.

Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment…read moreand care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a "Wine Sommelier" of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to "Love At First Sight" as it can get. Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesn't he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000's of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say that's when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the "Norm". Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I don't even live in Denver anymore? That's right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist. Enough about dentists let's talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You can't get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Y'all can thank me later).

I made appointments for everyone on my family, 2 adults and 2 kids. To start, the cleaning was thorough and I much appreciated the hygienist (even though she made comments about my mouth and teeth the whole time). I have never had a cavity in my 37 years of life. I also have never flossed. Yet, I bite the inside of my mouth when I'm stressed, and suddenly, I have 3 cavities that he needs to fill. Then, the dentist asked my husband for legal guardian papers for his biological daughter. We also got multiple letters in the mail begging us to come back to maximize our dental benefits. Whether necessary or not, apparently. Not impressed with this place.
