I paid the bill in full a couple days later. I wasn't trying to get out of paying the bill but I received another bill for $55 and called to tell them I already gave them thousands and I'm not paying another dime. Also I let them know that filling my mouth full of shots then sending me to discuss prices was not the way to do it. I should have been able to discuss treatment options and prices before anything was done in my mouth considering how terrified I am of everything. Sounds reasonable to me. The lady I talked to on the phone couldn't comprehend what I was saying and told me I was "using big words" . I explained in kindergarten terms a couple times that they need to discuss treatment and prices before pumping people's mouths full of shots. Especially if they make it known they have fears. She absolutely didn't understand what I was saying. I became aggravated and told her I was done with the conversation, the bill is paid and I won't be back. Through the weeks of the process, I was surprised to pay some extras that weren't covered by my insurance. Fast forward to a year after the work was started, into the next calendar year: I received yet another bill for approx. 1500.00 to pay for other things the insurance "didn't cover" as well as exceeding the carrier's maximum. I called the billing person at Aspen, couldn't speak with her and left a message to call me. Weeks later without a return call from her, another bill, asking for immediate payment. Overall, I feel that I dealt with a used car salesman, not a professional dental office. I'm sure they will respond appropriately as they do for most negative reviews here, promising to used my review to improve their services in the future. For me, the future is over with this office.

When I called to ask about this they told me I had a past due amount and used her credit to help offset it. So they applied her credit to my account without her permission.
