Not overly pleasant or efficient, don't seem to get along, and have very VERY mild senses of humor. So...pretty par for the course. The nurses (well, basically everyone who doesn't sit at the front) are all very friendly. Having extensive experience with phlebotomists, I can tell you the ones here are very experienced or just well practiced. The highlight is Dr. Panozzo who doesn't seem to rush, asks you the main questions and seems prepared to listen to your concerns, and refer you to the proper channels as needed. There is a patient portal which is helpful to communicate with the office. And the person who gives you the bad news (if there is any) is seemingly a nurse so if you have questions, she is prepared to answer them. It is not close to my house, but worth the commute.

We have since moved about 45 minutes away and still make the trip when one of our kids is sick rather than going to a place closer to us. If that happens, the staff at Henry Ford Medical Center in Troy will set me up with whoever has openings, including same day appointments. In fact I have occasionally gotten in to see Dr. Rowe this way. This has always been acceptable to me because HFMCT has many talented and proficient doctors on staff there. Like most of the other alternative doctors I have seen here, Dr. Rowe listens while I describe my reason for the appointment, asks questions to zero in on the most likely cause(s), explains the diagnosis to me in terms I can understand, and then prescribes what I need to do and any medications I may need. If you prefer a doctor who cares and gives you lots of personal attention, Dr. Rowe may be for you. I feel confident in Dr. Rowe's abilities and would have no hesitation in recommending her.
