Go anywhere else. I've never had an appointment where we waited less than two hours. Average appointment is FOUR longs for a normal check up. Communication is so poor they FOROGT to tell us that we had a serious condition for three months. Believe it or not, it's hard finding a quality doctor out in Los Angeles, so whenever I come back home for a visit I always make a point to schedule an appointment with our family doctor, Dr. Charbonier. Dr. Charbonier has been my doctor for the past 11 years, and if you meet him you can tell right away that he truly cares about his patients. He always takes the time to thoroughly answer questions and discuss treatment and therapy options. You never feel like he is rushing from one patient to another. Also his entire staff is the best! They're friendly and knowledgeable, and very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Definitely recommend him if you're in need of a physician! read more

Different Strokes For Different Folks !!! I NEVER WAITED LESS THAN 3.5 HOURS TO BE SEEN WHILE I WATCHED PATIENTS WALK IN 2 HOURS AFTER ME AND LEAVE BEFORE I WAS SEEN. EVERY SINGLE TIME (MONTHLY) FOR 5 YEARS ~ BUT I FELT DR. DEL WAS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD. I SEARCHED AND READ WHERE DOCTORS WENT TO SCHOOL * WHERE THEY PRACTICED * MADE SURE THEY WEREN'T CREEPY LOOKING * DEL WAS MY CHOICE SO I WAITED 3-6 HOURS EVERY MONTH (Yes Patience Is One Of My Genuine Characteristics That I Have Always Had) Anyhoo ... !!! I was being seen by Dr. Del Charbonier for quite some years. Throughout my pregnancy and then came ALEX (Del's nurse practitioner) who was always seeing me rather than Dr. Charbonier. The last time I actually seen Dr. Del he was concerned about the fact that stomach cancer runs in my family and before my visit was over I was told he would make an appointment for me to have some certain test done. Next appointment ALEX walks in my room and asks "WHY ARE YOU HERE????" Ummmm for my monthly refills that I have been steadily getting for years !!! He says "You're not due to get them filled !!!!" I said "I am well aware of that but considering the fact that I have no car. I come when there is an opening and I have transportation" ... so here I am !!! ALEX: "Well I'm Post Dating Them" ME: "Go Right Ahead ... My Insurance Will Not Cover Them Early Anyway !!!" (TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL LIKE I'M A JUNKIE THERE EARLY TRYING TO GET MY MEDS SOONER) ... Him and Del both knew my situation which was I NO LONGER WANTED TO TAKE THE OPIATES HE WAS PRESCRIBING ME AND ASKED HIM FOR SUBOXONE FOR PAIN. I WAS TOLD TO FIND A DOCTOR WHO COULD WRITE SUBOXONE. So guess what ??? I did and his name is DR. GAMMONS :) (Best Doctor Ever By The Way ~ That's The Attitude I Had About Del Until This Stuck Up ALEX Guy Came Along) ... They dropped me (took urine) EVERY MONTH and since August of 2016 BOTH DEL AND ALEX KNEW I WAS GETTING SUBOXONE FROM FRIENDS AND DROPPED DIRTY FOR IT EVERY MONTH ... But that was fine OBVIOUSLY because nothing was ever said AND HEY ~ ONE LESS PERSON ON OPIATES YEAY !!! Those scripts that ALEX post dated were taken to CVS and dropped off to be put on file but THEY FILLED THEM (not any of my doing) Did I sell * overdose * do ANYTHING but wait until my other pills were out before opening those ???? NOPE ... That same day EXCITEDLY I told ALEX "I found a "Suboxone Doctor FINALLY" ... his remark was "Oh Yeah ???" A week later I get a letter signed by DEL that he was DISCHARGING ME FROM HIS PRACTICE. The front desk staff member who I will remain anonymous told me that they said since I dropped "DIRTY" for Suboxone 2 months in a row that's why I was discharged !!! BULL**** I've been dropping so called "DIRTY" for Suboxone for 8 months in a row not 2 !!! Never recieved my last 30 day supply of meds. Patient Abandonment is EXACTLY what took place here. DEL IS A GOOD GUY. GREAT DOCTOR. ALEX ON THE OTHER HAND IS GOING TO MAKE A HORRIBLE DOCTOR THAT MAKES ASSUMPTIONS AND HAS PATIENTS FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE ... I KNOW SOMEONE WHO STILL GETS SEEN BY ALEX WHEN IN REALITY DEL IS HIS PCP AND I HEAR EVERY MONTH ABOUT HOW CRAPPY ALEX SPEAKS TO THIS PERSON !!! THAT IS ALL ... ALEX SUCKS AND OBVIOUSLY HAD ME DISCHARGED FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL REASONING ... Because like I said ... before that last appointment with "MR. GOODY TWO SHOES" Del was concerned about a health issue/risk !!! For 6 years I was seen by DEL and never had a problem until ALEX came into the picture. I honestly take a liking to humans period. But there was always something about that weird guy that struck a nerve. He talks down to patients. I just hope DEL takes the TRASH out to the curb before he gets in trouble because ALEX thinks he is better than the young patients who are prescribed controlled substances LIKE MYSELF. DEL 5 Stars even though he still signed the discharge papers without speaking to me first and only listening to whatever reasoning ALEX wanted me discharged !!! ALEX 0 stars !!! He needs to say something smart to the wrong person one day !!! read more

Had a great experience!!! This was my second visit to Schoenherr Medical Associates, with Dr. Del Charbonier. The doctor is very friendly and took his time going over all my complaints and explaining all my test results. He seems very knowledgeable. He ordered some test to be done and guess what, they do all the testing right there at Warren Radiology. Best of all, I was able to get all the testing done same day and the doctor was able to go over the test results right away with me. Excellent service! read more

I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone wanting a doctor, nurse practitioner and staff who really care about your health and safety rather than some offices who are concerned with money and or are a pill mill. I have been coming here for years and never have I been treated better. Dr. Del is amazing and for the past year I have been seeing is nurse practitioner Alex as well. I read a review on here someone left complaining about Alex and it made me laugh, not just chuckle but laugh out loud. Alex is very caring and yes of course he has me do a drug test screening, or "drop" as she put, laughing again. I am on a controlled substance which if mixed with any other drug not prescribed to me could cause serious harm if not death. I on the other hand am not concerned about this screening because I do not illegally take my friends medication. Research will show that certain medications (suboxone) mixed with another opioid that there depressant qualities may exacerbate one another, which can prove fatal. Shame on Alex for not wanting his patients to die. All I can say is if you want to be treated like a human that someone cares about instead of a paycheck I highly recommend Schoenherr Medical and the caring staff. read more
