    Burrata Flatbread
    Thomas C.

A spacious and clean Irish pub dive bar. Coming in at 4:30pm on a rainy Saturday, two gentlemen at the bar were attentive and welcoming. Menus for food are QR code, but we weren't really sure about specialty drink selection if they had one. Then again it's a dive bar. Lots of draft options. We put in food which came out pretty quickly. Though you pick it up from this small window where the lower the food to you in the dining area. The flat bread was more like a burrata and bruschetta on toast? The name of the app is misleading though the description is right. The fried pickles were SO delicious. Crunchy, not too greasy, and there was a generous portion. Highly recommend. No frills. Exactly what you expect.

While babylon village has ample bars/pubs/restaurants to suit just about everyone's tastes, only 1 has a place that stays open late! Metered parking on Deer Park Ave in front- municipal lot behind. All the wood n such gives the inside a bit of a cabin/lodge feel. During warm weather months, an outdoor area and "back bar" to address the overflow. *was there for post Pride event- last summer and this place was jammed! Local bar feel and vibe, lots of locals and as stated, late night hours draw in a younger crowd so us "mature" folk who may not want to be surrounded by 20sumthins be advised. However, a great spot to catch your favorite sports teams on the tube, plenty of televisions to croon your neck at. Full bar and lots of taps. Decent pub fare as well. Priced accordingly and clean.

Great for late night bites. Typical bar food menu. The mozzarella sticks weren't as great as I hoped, the cheese just didn't seem to melt. The calamari was good. I wouldn't recommend coming here for just food but overall it is a great bar to have some drinks at.

After a long day of work, this is a great spot for friends to hang out, the drink selection is adequate, and the bartender is friendly.

Yeah, well, come hate us on Yelp is their motto and I know why people do but you go to scary Mary's when the nights winding down to give it a bit of a shock to the system, or you go for the wings or your bartenders or just for some good wholesome fun. I just like that you can poo inside of a giant Guinness glass when needed.

We came here for a late night to meet up with friends to grab some drinks for a friend's birthday. Mary Carroll's has that laid back bar feel where the locals hang out. Friends and family meet up to chill and grab a few beers. We stayed more towards the front of the bar where there is hightop tables across from the bar. The are three sections of beer on tap at the bar. So the selection has a good variety. Not sure what to get? The bartender can give you suggestions based on your usual drink of choice. They are friendly and happy to help. I haven't tried the food, so I can not say how it is. We came early in the night, but as the night got longer the crowd started to roll in. Overall it's a good place to grab a beer and catch up with friends.

Great local pub in the heart of Babylon. I've been coming here over 20 years and each time is a great experience.

It is the last original beer garden remaining in New York City. On a hot summer day, the Beer Garden just off 31st street is the place to come and relax, watch a game or event, or, at other times, attend a civic or social meeting with local elected officials in one of their private rooms or the main auditorium. I was here last July to hang out and hold an outdoor meeting about a local park in Astoria. We had a choice of burgers, mac and cheese, pizza schnotzel, beer-battered onion rings, and various fried foods. However, there is one aspect of going to the Beer Garden that I ABSOLUTELY HATE, and that is bouncers frisking down visitors or asking customers to show an ID. In my opinion, that is a turnoff and unnecessary action taken, for orderly, polite adults, and makes you feel as if you are in a strip club, and thus an invasion of the person's right to privacy. I recommend, yes, but it is best to go when you want to attend a group event.

George, the on-site manager, was an absolute dream. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel like all I had to do was show up and enjoy. He coordinated everything flawlessly, was so gracious and kind to our guests, and ran the entire evening with such calm professionalism. We hosted a company party for 55 people, and the pergola was the perfect space immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, smelled amazing, and gave us our own private, intentional atmosphere with plenty of room to move around and celebrate. It genuinely felt like our own curated space for the night. The food was outstanding. We received endless compliments on the quality the pizzas were immaculate, and the wings deserve an award. Truly top-tier. My company booked here for this event, and we will absolutely continue booking here in the future. The compliments on the décor, the food, the layout, and the overall experience have not stopped coming in. This is, without question, the best place in Norwalk to host an event. The treatment, the space, the staff, and the execution were all unmatched. If you are considering booking here do it. You will not regret it. It is easy to be enveloped by the plethora of great…read morerestaurants in the competitive nature that is NYC, but when you venture all the way out here to Babylon, NY, you have to change that mindset a bit. The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.
