Great idea, poor execution with our son's class…read more We signed our super excited 6 year old son for a 6 week hip hop class here. He has been taking Jazz, tap & ballet for the last 3 years. On the 1st day it became an issue with the instructor that we as his parents wanted to see how the class was instructed. The observation room offers a very restricted view of the dance floor and being his 1st time there, we sat in the corner of the dance floor area. This seemed to bother the instructor so much that the class was disrupted with a visit to the owner to get us to move. Even being told that "banter between the parent and child is a distraction". Though resolved by the owner who understood, we were left with a less than ideal 1st impression. We continued to bring our son because he loves hip hop and there are limited resources in the Omaha area. Unfortunately, almost every class was led by a different instructor which is not the best environment for children. We will be looking for a more consistent environment to continue our sons hip hop dance education :) Hopefully Youtube will not be the only alternative. On a side note, the studio looks great!

I like the adult choreography class, the workshops they offer over the summer and the break dance class. The studio is a very funky and cool space, it has graffiti all over the walls. The teachers are knowledgeable about the style they instruct. The have adult classes which is hard to find in the Omaha area. They also are active in the flash mob dances around Omaha. That is a really neat event to participate in. I think overall the atmosphere is pure hip hop dance. Great for kids and adult classes.

Plus, the prices were really reasonable - around $100 for 6 weeks of classes, at least for the acrobatics option we selected. The staff and instructors are also friendly and engaging. The waiting room is cozy, it isn't real large and there isn't a ton of seating so finding a chair can be a challenge, especially when the studio is getting ready to turn over classes, that is my only complaint.

He should been at the door. If he had been some of their concerns could have been prevented. The owner actually pushed my brother and attempted to push my son's. I attempted several times to have a civil conversation outside to discuss the so called issues. He actually got in my face (I'm female) and was yelling at me. My son had to intervene. They called the police on everything. We were told by the police that they have called there several times for same type of so called billshit. I would like to say the bartenders were pretty decent they were telling my special guests that there wasn't a special alcohol for them when there was. The wedding coordinator who was there at the beginning was also pretty nice. I would not recommend this place for nothing. I would also like to say that they we did end up having at successful wonderful reception AT the VFW #1 hall NOT at this venue. ​​

I noticed a tap dance class downstairs and modern dance upstairs. The interior of the building is a renovated turn off the (last) century building. At the end of the year, they present what was learned. Ours was at A.L. They had programs and all the age groups presented their talents. I would recommend and am taking my daughter back for another year of gymnastics and a year of dance.

My daughter has been going here since summer 2021 (we moved here from D.C.). OGA staff and coaches are great. My daughter loves it and has great friends here at OGA. The staff holds regular meetings and parties to make this a positive experience for everyone. There's also a good parent booster club that enhances the overall experience for the girls and parents.

Crowded facility. Not worth the price. You can barely even see your own kid through the tiny…read morewindows. There is a tv that you can watch some low quality cameras of the gym. 9 camera screens on maybe a 40" TV. There are so many classes going on at the same time and there are areas of the gym that have no viewing windows. Not enough seating for parents. Staff is pretty rude up front. Teachers aren't consistent and don't pay any individual attention. I'm watching my sons coach teach him how to cartwheel wrong. She is literally showing him to step with the wrong foot first for the direction he's turning. I cancelled my membership today as I cannot stand another month here. Might as well try out the gymnastics at the YMCA. Even if it's bad there also it'll be $60 cheaper a month. Oh and class was just let out 10 minutes early?
