We know we can always trust her style and eye. Personally, I recently hired Kelly for consulting on my home's window coverings and she came prepared with options, took measurements and gave me ballpark prices so I could make choices based on my budget. I loved her recommendations and am so happy with what we decided! I highly recommend Kelly and her services!

Although the cost of staging is not inexpensive, I believe that having excellent staging made an enormous difference that resulted in me getting a significantly higher price for my home. It is clear that Kelly posesses an extraordinary eye for design. She curated each room meticulously, selecting furniture and accessories that perfectly complemented the existing features. The result was a breathtaking beautiful space that far surpassed its appearance during my ownership; I hardly recognized it :) Her ability to work with the existing challenges was impressive. Two rooms had rain-damaged hardwood floors, but rather than hiding the imperfections, she ingeniously incorporated them into the overall design. Their resourcefulness and creativity diverted attention, highlighting the captivating aspects of the space. Throughout the process, the stagers were professional, pleasant and easy to work with. If you're looking to make a lasting impression on potential buyers and maximize your home's value, I highly recommend Staging Places!

Fox was helpful in a design process that let us try different approaches to fit our need and budget. We now have a room where we can enjoy our backyard as well as entertain our friends and family. What we appreciate about Fox is that they have an entire team devoted to our work but give us a single point of contact to get those vital messages into the workflow. They were responsive to our input during the design process, and respectful to our frequent comments about the workflow. We had daily phone calls so that we knew who would be on property and what they would need from us (decisions, move plants/items). We also had weekly project timelines so we knew where we were in the overall construction process. Dave Fox Builders, knowing the current difficulty of securing labor and materials, acquired, and partnered with multiple related businesses. That approach prevented work stoppages that plague other construction companies. Fox was able to predict our starting point and keep the project on time and on budget. As with all projects, there were many decisions and small problems to work through. Fox was very helpful in identifying anything that they found, and also listening and meeting items that we identified. We found the Dave Fox building team professional and courteous while on our property. They even stayed late to ensure the project kept pace. Fox completed the addition in just over three months, impressive considering the worked during the coldest time of the year. Dave Fox Builders were quick in responding to the various completion issues, often addressing them well before making the final punch list. We found the whole process enjoyable. We recommend Fox Builders highly if you want a quality company that will partner with you to transform space to meet your living needs.

I met at my home the salesmen, Matt Rogers on August 19 2019. I explained what I wanted to do and he claimed to understand and gave me a rough range estimate. Met with Matt at Dave Fox office on August 20 2019 to walk around the showroom and see items that were available. Met with Matt again on September 5 and paid my deposit so plans could be drawn up. Met with Matt and the Interior Designer, Laura Thompson, on September 20. They came to my home to discuss my ideas. I explained to Matt on August 19 and to Laura on September 20 that I did not want any high-end detailed items. I was looking for function, smooth lines, and easy to clean items. We met at the Dave Fox office on October 28 to look over the plans they had. I was really disappointed. Everything was extremely expensive and not to my taste at all. The contract was 50K more than the high end of the range I was given. On November 11 we met again at the office and again the items were not to my description. Met again on November 15 and agreed with contract price. Still over the estimate given but I had made some specific changes. Went to the office on November 27 to begin the choice selection. I explained several times that I did not like nor want the fancy shower unit in my bathroom. Laura continued to leave it in the contract until I finally had to send an email 6 months into the contract stating that I still did not want that specific shower unit and to take it out of my contract. I tried, per her request, sending her a picture of a shower unit that worked the way I wanted it. Her only response was the unit was chrome and wouldn't go with my bathroom. She tried telling me to have what I wanted would be an extra cost for the additional plumbing. I knew this was not necessary because the shower unit I currently had worked the way I wanted it to with no special plumbing. I finally gave up and told her to put a standard shower head (not a rain head). I purchased what I wanted after the remodel was done and installed it myself with no special plumbing. Most of the selection process went smoothly but I did feel I had to keep insisting on what I wanted. When I would ask the cost the only response, I received was it was within spec. I don't care that it was in spec I wanted to know the cost. Spec means nothing to me when I never received a line-by-line itemization which I was told I would. Phase 1 was the 3-season room to install insulation, drywall, paint and carpeting. That phase started on February 12. . The 2nd phase was not to start until after phase 1 was completed and I had time to pack up the rest of my home so they could begin. The 2nd phase was to extend my kitchen, remove the dining area, put a 2ndsink in the master bath, square the master closet, put cabinets in laundry room, install a tankless water heater, and put flooring and paint throughout the condo. I explained that I needed phase 1 to be completed prior to the middle of April. During the work on phase 1 the pandemic hit and there was a 2-week delay to resume work. I had no problem with this as it was very understandable. The Project Manager for phase 1, Kelly Stepp, would email the plans for 2 weeks at a time. He would then email me and tell me when he would be at my home. He would not show up when he said he would and he did not call telling me he could not be there. I would then have to reach out to him every time asking him when he was coming. Instead of phase 1 being completed with just the 2 week delay it wasn't completed until the middle of June. The carpet when installed was not the correct carpet. I chose another carpet color. The blinds still had not been replaced and the one window frame had not been painted. While waiting for the carpet to be ordered and installed no work was done. The new carpet was installed so I sent an email to Laura and Matt letting them know so the rest of the work could be completed. I received a 5-paragraph email from Laura wanting to know when they could start phase 2 since phase 1 was complete. Phase 1 was not complete. The blinds still had not been hung and the last window frame had not been painted. I replied what still needed done and that I would still need the same amount of time discussed earlier to pack up the rest of my home for phase 2. I called the President, Gary Demos, of the company and explained the issues I was having. He was no help. He had Kelly call me telling me he would pick up the blinds and have them trimmed (this due to the drywallers did not leave proper distance from the window frames). I was told if after the blinds were trimmed and reinstalled if I was not happy with them Dave Fox Company would replace them. When the blinds were finally reinstalled of the 7 only 1 was not trimmed properly. I requested that the 1 blind be replaced. The Company refused. CONTINUED (this first part)
