Much better format than back in the '80s and the class moves along fairly fast. Range riding, as expected, on 250 cc bikes with more than a few dents but in decent condition for the learning task. The staff is both strict and encouraging. For those getting a license, the end of the course will document skill and allow for a rider test at the end. If it's been a while, it can't do any harm and might save your skin. Riding a motorcycle entails serious risk. For me, it's the ride itself that matters and it's pure joy.

We are in a little bit of a rush to get my friends license and anytime there was a cancellation for driving time, Daphne would get him in and driving. He also made remarks that are unnecessary and rude (talking about how she has no friends/social life). In addition to all of this, he was on his phone watching a sports game and eating snacks during the in-car lesson, even having my sister drive him to a 7/11 to get food, not to mention he also threw trash out the window. My sister came home crying about the whole experience, and that is not okay. If Coach Zach continues to work at this establishment I worry for the kids that have him as a driving instructor.

This place is easy to find, but I didn't ask about the integrity of their instructors or vehicles-- it was dangerous not to ask about these things, because you'd think it were a business with strict licensing. All I found on MVA for licensing for driving instructors is that they be 21 yrs of age, have a driver license, license in good standing and pass a criminal background check--THAT IS ALL. Humm. The way they "teach" what they think are the appropriate rules of conduct for young teens is inconsistent and confusing. When clashing views about driving rules by different instructors were relayed to me I thought they were OUTTA THEIR MINDS!! Saw the car they use to take them out to drive, and it is in my opinion not very safe looking. TINY. Subcompact car. Finally thought to seek another place even if farther out, as ABY is not worth the money to worry ad nauseum. You could try ABY to see if it fits your style. It did not fit ours.

They were certainly made for each other. People really should not deal with the public, if they do not like people and cannot be respectful and courteous and encouraging. I was chastised for being 15 minutes late. I had been sitting in my car the entire time and walked in 20 minutes prior to my test, No one told me when to get there and then he told me that he told me that the prior day on the phone. Sir, I have never spoken to you. The woman in the back... I have no words other than miserable and angry "black" woman. (and I am black)
