In Baltimore, we are truly so blessed and "lucky" with great doctors and hospitals and St. Joseph Medical Center is a prime example of that. You say you have a sneezing issues and they act like they should amputate your nose. I have lived all around the world, lived in several states and GBMC has to be the WORST hospital ever! Plus the rudeness, why does everyone have an attitude there. You come in smiling and you leave angry. After my husband was seen by primary care five times about chest pain and his arms hurting. GBMC ran test but kept sending him home. We finally we went to Hopkins and they told him it was the medication he was on (statin) and did not need it!!! Over GBMC

Not decorated with nice decor or colors-Barr bones! Unfortunately this location is where some people must go due to insurance company/Medicare insurance. I was told when I called for an appt., that since the Nurse Practitioner is leaving, I have to go on a waiting list to get a new doctor as the other existing physicians "are not accepting new patients." I am not a new patient of the practice, unless these doctors started their own individual practices within the group. This is NOT a result of COVID. Getting appoints with this office is like pulling teeth. In the past before COVID.. I would get a sick appt 3 days out and would have to email my NP to set sooner. Why must we go through this? Its all about the $$$$$$. They have too many patients/not enough doctors.. so when existing patients need to see their healthcare professional, they can't get in. But yet, they are raking in the bucks! Medical practices have become a scam and a business, not about your well being. If you want a wellness visit, for blood work etc., it is four months out for an appt.. well, thats if your doctor doesn't change practices. .then you are put on reset.. and considered a "new patient" even after almost 20 years.

The doctor came in shortly after, gave me a diagnosis and prescribed me medicine which they had right there. Overall, I think I was there for a little over an hour and was able to leave with a diagnosis and prescription. Not nearly as bad as I anticipated.

Later in week, a skin care physician exam revealed a cyst with no need for 2 antibiotics prescribed by Patient First. PA was not particularly caring , focused or competent.
