I had a very good experience here. The person at the desk did not usually work at the clinic, but she was very good and helpful. The clinic opens at 9:00 am; we arrived at 8:50, and were third in line. By 9:30, a sign was on the door saying that they were already at capacity. When it was my turn, I was treated by a physician's assistant named Taylor Scott, who was excellent! She was very friendly and cheerful and explained everything to me. She never made me feel rushed. She did a test that eliminated one possible cause of my vertigo, and I left with a prescription that I filled at the pharmacy next door. read more

These people are very rude! I'll never go there. If you are in medical care/ people are entrusting their health to you, you have to show some professionalism- the people working phones here - have no professionalism, they are just plain rude. My primary care recommended them - I'm following up with her to recommend d she never send another patient to these people. I'd rather drive to Virginia than entrust my care to them. I'm not only a patient - I'm a customer. If it weren't for your customer patients, they wouldn't have a job. I hope everyone will start demanding more for the outrageous prices we pay for healthcare. Be careful with these folks. If something on a weekend occurs to prevent going to a Monday appointment AND you call them Monday to reschedule, they WILL charge you $60. They will also be very rude about it. They also insist that YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO CALL THEIR EMPTY OFFICE to leave a voicemail THAT NOONE WILL HEAR BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSED on Sat and Sunday. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!!! If your car broke down on a Sunday preventing a Monday appt, as mine did, they insist you should have called their empty office Saturday. I guess you have to be a psychic to make appointments with these con artists. I called Monday @ 9am when they open. I'm taking these con artists to small claims on this nonsense. When I called them to follow up, they were rude and belligerent and refused to send me the form they say I signed on this cont artist policy of theirs. I'll see these folks in court. I hadn't seen him in a few years.;.. He worked with me on my sleep apnea and single sided hearing loss. I called recently to make an appointment and was told if I wanted to keep the appointment I had ONLY TWENTY FOUR HOURS TO RESPOND and fill out some sort of online information OR THE APPOINTMENT WOULD BE CANCELED!!? Keep in mind I'd been seeing this doctor for years!!! Now the audiology department... I have a bone conduction hearing aid, That they've never been able to properly adjusted, kept having ongoing and terriible feedback problems that were NEVER resolved,and whenever I was there they removed the protective cap, more than once,, and despite my asking, never replaced (costs $25 each time to by a new one) to help protect it from getting wet or contaminated). The head audiologist was rude, and dismissive, Never helped with the feedback issues, and when I complained... I was pulled aside... as if I was the problem! Too sad, as Bianchi is a highly skilled and respected surgeon and ENT. Keep in mind that I'm a Sound engineer and musician, and I know what I'm doing, and understand the physiology and biology of hearing and how these devises work and the audiologists never listened to my advice, nor addressed my needs properly. As a result, I've never been able to use the hearing aid, and have had to deal With the disability and ongoing hearing problems. It's sad, because Dr.Bianchi himself is listed as the best of the best in the ENT world...but his new office staff, whoever they are, are the worst of the worst. read more

Typically I've had great experiences here but at my most recent appointment when I went for vertigo and ear pain the doctor barely looked at me and just told me to monitor. I then went to my neurologist who clearly saw I had nystagmus and ENT should have caught it and the pt I saw confirmed that I have bppv. read more

My experience has fortunately not been as bad as some others' **except** for having to schedule an appointment. It can be so difficult to get through and you don't always get a call back if you opt to leave your number. That can be frustrating. In person the office staff has been very easy to work with. Maryland ENT Assoc was recommended by a friend. During my initial visit I found the entire staff very pleasant and professional. Dr Bionchi answered all my questions and provided me with options on how to manage my recurrent sinus infection, and deviated septum which was causing recurring sinus infections and recent vertigo events. Unlike several other ENTs I saw over the last 30 years for the same issues, (which left me feeling like they were "medically gaslighting" me), Dr. Bionchi actually listened to my symptoms, conducted the necessary tests to confirm what my actual problems were, and he ultimately recommended sinus surgery to correct them. My surgery was scheduled for May 21st, 2025. Dr. Bionchi, met with me before the surgery to review my medical history and go over the procedure. Post-op Dr. Bionchi spoke with me and my husband and reviewed my surgery. Before leaving he met with me to go over the post op discharge instructions. He was very straight forward and let me know that it would take time to recover from the sinus surgery and what I needed to due to ensure the best recovery. I see they have an average of 2.6 review. While 2.6* is low - they don't even deserve that. Called yesterday for appointment. They told me to come to ENT walk in clinic at 10AM in morning (as uspposedly open 10-3). I showed up at 10 and was told that the front desk had given the wrong info as their hours are 9-3...and they fill up immediately. I asked to speak with practice manager. First told there wasn't one but when insisted a PA came out to reiterate that I should have been there at 9AM if I wanted to be seen. The patient behind me chimed in that she was also told 10-3. Everyone shrugged their shoulders. I asked who the practice manager was - Ann Brown - but she was off and in her absences there was no fill in. I left and called the main#. The same person at the walk in clinic was was dismissive to me - answered as she is the onewho answers phones for the regular appointments and the walk in clinic (so she's the one who told patients 10-3). She then put me through to Dr. David Bianchi, MD who is the physician manager. He said my expectation (as to be given corrrect information as operating hours) was extremely stringent and unreasonable. Giving out wrong information is not considered by their office to be a concern as information they give is often wrong - and it is not reasonable to expect correct information. He told me there was nothing he would do to correct the situation. He was rude and I suspect semi-retired as he emphaszied he'd been practicing for 37 years and as practice lead they had no expectation that correct info be given. Their advertisement of "putting patients at the center of care" is just a saying that the PR people told them to put out there but Dr. David Bianchi, MD said they had no interest in living up to that. Every few years I need to get an ear cleaning. The first time I had it done was decades ago. That ENT used probes which were very painful. Since then every ENT I've went to has had a chair similar to a dental chair for examinations and this procedure. This place did not. The exam room was overheated enough to make me anxious. It did not help I was wearing a mask and had to wait there for a while. The combination of those things aggravated an occasional anxiety issue I have. Dr. Patel started to use one of those painful probes on me. I explained to her that other ENTs used a suction gun for that procedure. She listened, she was kind, and found a similar tool in the exam room. The job got done. I think the next time I need this procedure I want to go to an ENT practice that has up to date equipment and does not overheat the exam rooms. I will also seek out a pandemic aware practice. The doctors wore masks, but not their medical staff, nor their administrative staff. No signage encouraging their patients to do the same. The pandemic still exists with hundreds to thousands of Americans still dying every week Preventable deaths. read more

It's all about the money, not the patient. Called in to say that I was stuck in traffic and would be 10 minutes late. They cancelled me and sent me a 50-dollar charge. Staff is very rude, and Doctors do not attend to patients as they should. Staff running the office definitely puts out the vibe "I hate my job". Running 15 minutes late to pick up a device and was called to be informed I was cancelled and got a $50 charge as a no show. Dr Bianchi is the BEST and he genuinely cares. Getting an appointment is tough but that's par for the course these days.

I have a long history of experience with Dr. Bianchi at this practice. Please understand that I consider him to be a truly excellent physician. It saddens me to have to give the practice a poor review. My family has experienced multiple cases of mistakes in scheduling by the office staff. We have travelled to the office several times only to find that there was a mistake and we couldn't be seen. This was especially unfortunate for us as my wife was confined to a wheelchair so the transportation was complicated. Recently I have waited a little over 4 months to be seen. During that time, the practice cancelled me 7 times. Two of the cancellations were with less than 24 hours notice. The last straw came this week. I had an appointment on June 23. I received a text message cancelling it and requesting that I reschedule. I called for a reschedule but was told that there was no problem and that I still had the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that it had been changed to June 22 (the previous day)and that I couldn't be seen as the doctor wasn't there. To top it all off, on Saturday, June 27, I received a bill in the mail for $50 for a missed appointment. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes and I want to give the most consideration possible because of the complications of COVID-19. But these mistakes have been going on for years. There is something fundamentally wrong with this practice. The office staff are pleasant enough. In person and on the phone they sound competent and on top of things. Perhaps they have a terrible computer appointment system. I don't know but I am reluctantly severing my dealings with this practice and I recommend that others look elsewhere for ENT services. read more

The doctor D. Bianchi is a great doctor. But if you are poor and on medical assistance don't think they will even bother with you. The office staff made it very clear that they didn't want me or my kids in their office. They don't treat poor people I guess. This is the second surgery this doctor has done on me. The doctor put my tracheostomy in but wouldn't see me in the office to remove the suture without me being a self pay. I guess they don't want the business. I am a nurse and can't even believe that a surgeon would not do at least a follow up with their patient. well pray you don't need trach at Holy Cross because you will probably get this doctor who's staff don't like poor folk!!!! read more

This place screws up billing to the point it's not worth coming to them. Their billing department is just a voicemail that they do not check and certainly do not return calls. I've been calling and leaving voicemails for days regarding a bill they screwed up. The voice greetings says to call Privia. After talking with Privia, they said I need to talk to someone in this office. Welp! That isn't going to happen, bc they apparently refuse to do any work. DO NOT BECOME A PATIENT HERE. I like Anita G was chided by the desk staff for arriving "late" I was 20 minutes before my appointment, apparently as a new patient they expect you there "30-45 minutes early" to complete paperwork. However, there is a reason they are administrative staff and not the doctors. Dr. Asher met with me to go over some test results and courses of treatment. She was incredibly thorough and I didn't feel like I was rushed at all. She explained the procedure, possible side effects, long term outcomes, and risks. Saw Dr Asher several -10+ years ago and saw her name in my phone when looking for another Doctor and decided to look her up. She was the only one that helped me with breathing issues related to Clusters. For those of you that waited- Get over yourself. Its DC metro and she is busy and people are late all day long and it backs up the day. Most Doctors pad 15 to 30 minutes- Not saying that Maryland ENT does but most do -so plan your day for some sort of delay. And...to the others about the customer service.... Very terrible customer service. I work with a providers office who regularly sends our patients to them. When calling from the provider line to get some help received terrible service by someone who told me to call back tomorrow and hung up in my face. It was 3:48 pm during business hours. I had nose surgery done at this office several years ago. I met with Dr. Driscoll because I was having a difficult time breathing out of my left nostril due to being hit by a basketball when I was a kid. I liked Dr. Driscoll because he was kind, patient and a good listener. He suggested that he'd simply flip the cartilage in my nose to create a wider opening so I could breathe better. In theory, that sounds like a good fix, but in actuality, it completely changed the look of my face. Several weeks after the surgery, my nose was very bulbous and I asked him if the swelling would go down. He said it would. Unfortunately, several years later, I still have a ball for a nose. It has completely changed the look of my face, and not for the better. People have actually said things to me about my nose because they noticed the change. It was normal looking when I went in for the surgery, but now, I have a ball at the end of my nose due to the flipped cartilage and hardened scar tissue. Now I get to spend thousands of dollars AGAIN to have a Plastic surgeon fix the damage done to my nose by this surgeon. I highly recommend that you do your due diligence when looking for a doctor of any kind. ALWAYS get a second opinion, and if you need to have ANYTHING done to your nose, go to a PLASTIC SURGEON that specializes in rhinoplasty and NOT an ENT! read more

This is the first time I have ever written a negative review about any services provider, but I feel compelled to write. My husband was diagnosed with the corona virus...spent 16 days in the hospital, 8 days on a ventilator. He survived thankfully, but his vocal chords were deeply affected. He is very hoarse and has difficulty speaking. Our primary care provider referred us to Maryland ENT Associates. We were unable to contact them online, so left two messages with them...several days ago. No return call...nothing. We contacted another practice today, and although we had a short wait time on the phone, were able to speak to someone who set up a tele-health appointment for my husband. While we appreciate that this is a national pandemic and doctor's offices are short-staffed, to not return a call to someone in my husband's situation is not only unprofessional, but disgraceful. read more

This place is the worst. I had a biopsy done on a lymph node on a Monday. The lab told me my doctor would have the results by Wednesday. A week later I still haven't heard anything. What's worse, I cannot even get through to the office. When I call, no one ever answers the phone -- it's always sent to voicemail. I've left several voicemail messages and also sent an email through the patient portal. Nothing. I'm being completely ignored and cannot reach anyone. This is really horrible when a person is waiting to hear if they have cancer or not. It's no way to treat people. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go someplace else. read more

I've never had any medical professional practically dismiss a medical issue until my visit here in March. I came for issues related to severe vertigo. I was told by Dr. Hahn that "my body will learn to compensate for the issues". Once he saw the angry look on my face, he told me he would write a referral for an MRI but he is pretty sure it will come back normal. Then why order such an espensive test! I was later diagnosed with vestibular migraines and vitamin deficiencies and I am now getting the treatment that I need. read more

Dr B is wonderful. I didn't like the associate I saw cause she kept pushing medication for my acid reflux before first handling my diet. I changed my diet and the reflux was gone but she kept insisting on me taking a prescription too. I know dr. B wouldn't have done the same, he is so knowledgeable and understanding! I took my son to Maryland ENT Associates to deal with some ear issues he has been dealing with for several months. The staff was excellent. I had high expectations by the great service I received when I made the appointment. My son is young and takes a while to warm up to new environments. The staff was friendly and made my son and daughter who was with me feel comfortable. Dr. Nottingham and her assistance was patient and was what my son needed. No surprises, she explained everything she was doing to my son (and to me of course). To top it off they received a toy and sticker which they loved. I'm not sure why they got such low ratings. Long wait times? Okay, well there aren't that many ENT offices in the area. I went in for after have 2 or 3 sinus infections over a short span of time, like two months. This was more than a year ago. They told me the most sinus infections were under treated. The Hauck had to look inside my nose to see it. If it had not been for them, it may not have been properly treated. He also did a hearing test. I really appreciated their services. The doctor has a good bedside manner and a sense of humor. I recommend them. My Grandmother goes there as well and they helped her with her hearing. read more

I told her we drove all the way from DC of course she didn't care. Way to maintain customer service and a great plan for patient retention. I really liked this place. I've been going to Dr. D for a few years now. He's always been super patient, taking the time to thoroughly understand my condition and talk through My options. My last visit has me questioning whether I'll return. I had what I believed to be a sinus infection and was nearing the end of sickness. ( Hubby gets them regularly and nursed me through like a champ) I'd never had one before and just wanted to make sure everything was fine. So Dr. D tells me yes, it's a sinus infection and you're nearing the end based on the nasal dripping I see up your nose, but I can run a scope up your nose to make sure it's fine. He neglects to tell me this is quasi surgical procedure until he hands me the consent form to fill out. It just felt like a way to make a buck off me. Rather than saying, as he had in previous visits, everything looks fine, but come back if it's not, he pushes this procedure. Trust can be a very hard thing to establish in doctor patient relationships and when that trust is shaken it's hard to want to continue treatment. I need to make an appt for an issue soon, but am still on the fence aa to whether I'll visit Dr. D and this practice again. read more
