One feels valued and welcomed. The store features Bernina and Baby Loc machines, and a host of long-arms and furniture and accessories as well as some patterns. The fabric selection is not huge, but they carry nice flannel and a lot of batik. The examples hung for display are gorgeous! This was by far my favorite shop!

I met them at a festival and was so excited to have them do some work for me for Christmas gifts. I worked directly with them to have my embroidery done just the way I wanted and I CAN NOT WAIT to give my gifts. Turned out beautiful. The company who initially made the garter sent the wrong one to me. I was in LA. Wedding in Frederick, M.D. Company who I had ordered garter from was not getting back to me....what a nightmare. Expressed it to M.D. She was one of the two who said they would make time to embroider after calling 20 places. Had to have it done same day. The delicate lace was a concern Angie said but would give it her best shot and it came out SO BEAUTIFULLY!! Better than the company who made the garter!! Upon bringing it in, she was done 1 hour later. She has top of the line equipment also!! Not to say she will be free all the time for last minute jobs but this shop owner goes out of her way for her clients and cares!! You will not go wrong with her for small or big jobs!! Below is the long story...... Tried to find someone here to fix error. No one had time to fix garter and no one had time to embroid it even if itwere fixed. It was last minute. Found a amazing bridal shop in LA called Bella Wedding Bridal. The best wedding dress shop in the country!! They removed the wrong initials on garter and replaced it with beautiful matching lace of garter. They also tried to help me find someone to embroider calling all over town. However, no one had time and too last minute. I had to express by 5pm to M.D. At least I thought bride will have garter on wedding day and will get another one to her for her keepsake. Expressed to M.D. then thought to call around to ask if anyone can embroider garter. No one had time etc. Found Angie at Embroider Me. She said she would give it a shot given lace and machinery. She did not want to damage so she would take a look first. She told my friend to bring it in right away. 1 hour later it was done and AMAZING!! Better than the company I had ordered from and with the correct initials at that. Angie had a very busy schedule but she made time and did the best of the best embroidery and saved the day!! I took a Sewing Mastery class at Danners Bernina and it was an overwhelmingly positive experience…read more The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and demystified my machine - which I had been having a lot of issues with prior to my class. The store has just about every accessory you could ask for, a good selection of other sewing notions, some fabric and patterns. It is well-stocked, clean and airy. The classroom is generously sized and there was plenty of room to spread out and maintain social distancing, which was appreciated. The instructor even noticed a small part on my my machine that wasn't in great shape...and I just got this machine serviced and they did not replace that part! I wasn't loving my usual Bernina service center before and this sealed it. Even though this shop is 2 hours from me, this will be my new service hub since my machines only need to be serviced once a year (ideally). Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and friendly classmates. I had a great experience here and am now a loyal customer.

The story is this, I found this company on yelp and reached out to them. I saw that they were local…read moreso I wanted to support a local business. I bought at the time for my family's business some embroiled shirts and some "screen printed" shirts. It took about a month for the "Screen Printed" shirts to arrive. When I finally got them I noticed that the logo felt as this they were hot pressed instead of screen printed as agreed upon. It had already been a month and I already paid for the products so I decided to give it a shot. Here we are a year later and the logos on the shirts look exactly what a hot pressed shirt would look after wear and tear. There is cracking on the logos and colors have faded. I come back to request for all the files for embroidery and screen printed. I get the embroidery files but no screen printed files. She then decides to tell me that she decided to instead "close my account". She goes on and assumes that I'm frustrated in the way she works and that wishes me the best of luck in future endeavors. These people treat their business like a part time. They never answer the phone and blame COVID. Even before COVID she rarely answered the phone. They say Covid has changed the way she does business and I understand that part never cared about it but once I asked for the screen printed file she is quick to turn me away. She sold me over priced hot pressed shirts and claimed them as "Screen printed". If you're looking to do business with them as a business, I suggest you don't. As stated they treat this business as a part time, they don't answer their phone, and they're highly unprofessional in the way they do business. They lied to me about my "screen printed" shirts so who knows what else they could lie about.
