    Crowded as expected on Saturdays

Aside from the long lines on Saturday and people getting 2 boxes worth when I only wanted to try a few donuts, like the PBJ and raspberry...

If you live nearby you need to try these donuts! Mary's is located inside the Bristol Amish Market. Although the market was not open yet, Mary's opens at 7 on Saturdays and you're still able to use the back/front entrances. I got there at 730 and the parking lot was empty and there was no line. The donuts tasted sooooo fresh and practically melt in your mouth. The donuts in my photo are Boston cream, cinnamon sugar cake donut, chocolate frosted, cookies and cream, chocolate filled with white cream, 2 Apple fritter, vanilla frosted, regular crueler and chocolate crueler, mocha cream, and black raspberry jelly

Donuts are the best! There are so many different types to choose from and the donuts are packed with fillings. Whenever I come to the Bristol-Amish Market, this is a go to place to stop for me. There are the usual glazed donuts, and jelly filled, but there are also apple filled, and pumpkin filled, as well as maple bacon, with bacon pieces on top! On this visit, we got a half a dozen, a sugared jelly, an apple fritter, apple filled with a caramel icing on top, a dutch crumb, and a cream filled with chocolate icing on top. The donuts were so fresh and delicious. The donuts are full of flavor and are soft. Out of all the donuts on this visit, my favorite ones are the apple filled and the cream filled. This is my new go to spot when I am craving some donuts. The staff are also welcoming and friendly and get the customers quickly through the line.

You can't go wong at an Amish Bakery, and Mary's is no exception. They have an assortment of delicious donuts, 6 of which I've sampled personally. The standout stars are the filled donuts with icing. The apple filled with caramel icing and the cream filled with chocolate icing are amazing. The apple fritter, jelly filled and Dutch crumb are tasty donuts as well. There are also pre packed half dozen glazed or assorted donuts that go on sale for $3. That's a steal! Keep an eye on the top shelf for that sale any time you go.

OMG THESE DOUGHNUTS!! I learned about this place this morning and decided to stop by immediately. This doughnut shop is located inside the Bristol Amish Market. Parking was packed but I managed to find a spot. The market itself was extremely packed (nerve racking since there is a pandemic going on). The line for Mary's was long but moved so quick I couldn't have been waiting for more than 3 minutes. I ordered half a dozen doughnuts. I got the Apple cider glazed, sugared jelly, apple crumb, vanilla frosted, toasted coconut, and a cookies and cream doughnut. They all looked amazing!! I will definitely be back to try more!

This little donut shop is located in the Bristol Amish market (open Thurs-sat only I believe) I love the Amish market and a friend had brought me home a donut from here originally. I'm not big into sweets or donuts, but this place takes the cake... or the donut I suppose. The donuts are fresh and amazingly delicious. I've had the cream filled a couple times and it's one of the best donuts I've ever had. I got a cappuccino and it was just alright, and very small, but the donuts are a must try for sure!

Being a HUGE fan of Beiler's donuts at Reading Terminal and a lover of donuts in general, I never thought that Mary's had much of a chance of winning a place in my heart. Then I walked past that glass case, displaying all those glistening beauties and my heart raced with the excitement of possibilities. Hoping that Mary just didn't know what she was doing, I ordered only one glazed chocolate chip donut and quickly walked away....but the temptation got to me and I took one small nibble....that turned into a giant bite....that turned into an ugly scene of me licking glaze off my fingers. It was a nice light & crispyy outside glaze, followed by a perfect cake crust that led into the softest center. It tasted exactly like what I imagine donuts in heaven taste like. Part of me wanted to run back into that back corner of the Amish market and buy the place out, BUT summer is right around the corner and well, it gives me a reason to come get lunch again next week!

We've been coming to Mary's for quite awhile now, because her donuts are awesome and the selection is beyond inventive! Over 30 kinds of donuts hand made and rolled each day and the variety is mind boggling! Key lime, coconut custard, Boston cream filled, the freshest softest raised, glazed and sugar coated, cake donuts made with a variety of cakes and iced with outstanding frosting and the cinnamon twists stay on your mind. Mary's Gourmet Donuts is located inside the Bristol Amish Market and they open at 7:00am, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which is two hours earlier than the other vendors open, but her donuts draw a crowd and if you park off to the side of the building you will see quite a few vans pull up and coming out of a private side door with huge boxes of donuts, some may be taking them into the office, but I would not be the least bit surprised if some other markets may be reselling her treats. Each month she features the flavor of the month and keeping with the Fall theme and apple picking time, it is an apple filled donut with a crumb topping and I know as sure as I am sitting here and typing this my favorite pumpkin donut will soon appear! Mary's sells the holes and they are better than any munchkin's or poppers you have ever had plus sweet breakfast rolls. For me to get a cup of coffee out, unless it is espresso, is a huge milestone, because I am never happy with the end results, but the coffee here is rich and strong enough for me, and quite a few different kinds and they also have the Green Mountain beans to buy whole or grind it there. This is not the place to come if you are on a diet unless you have strong willpower and can by pass the sweets for one of their homemade, all natural rice cakes ( rice, corn, wheat and sea salt ). Yes I've tried them and they taste so much better than the styrofoam tasting ones I've had from the market. They are a satisfying treat and comparing 16 calories to the calories in a donut is sometimes the way to go. Ha, I've only been able to do that once, but I had to take some donuts home too for my moments of weakness. Seriously, awesome donuts!

Brought a dozen of these glamour babes to the office this week. They were gone in under and hour. Everyone wanted to know where they were from as they had not tasted such fresh, chewy, sweetly frosted doughnuts in an elephant's memory. I only had a taste of two of them; the Blueberry and a Vanilla Frosted. The former was mildly crisp on the outside, all fruit sweetness within. The later had a fragile body, but a thickly poured sticky frosted coating. Each was totally different than the other, as the frosted was soft with a delicious white coat, while the core was much like a well made glazed rounder that almost melts in your mouth. The Blueberry was more cake-like, but totally infused with berryessence. Mary's is located within the Bristol Amish Market on Green Lane, just off Rt. 13. This market is also worth a review, as it is large, bright and cleaner than the one I often visit in Newtown, Pa. Only open Thursday - Saturday with the rest of the vendors there. On Thursday morning around 7:30 am, there were few people in the building, and almost no line at Mary's. Go later in the day, and you risk them being out of one or more of your favorites. The Saturday mayhem may not be worth the trip. I think I found its sweet spot.

They have a large parking lot and cute outdoor seating with umbrellas which I will definitely use during my next visit. Walking in the smell of heaven just slapped me in my face and I was transported back in time to what I say was a perfect little bakery .... every where you turned there was a new and exciting piece of deliciousness to drool over. They offered free chocolate cherry butter cookies which were divine!!!!! I didn't purchase any because my focus was on the cake (& on the donuts and dog treats that mysteriously were in my hands when I left lol). There were so many options for cake that in order to wind my decision down I asked the employee what their top cakes were and based on his reply I decided to go with the Strawberry Shortcake ... which was hands down the best I've ever had! It had those delightful "crunchies" the Good Humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bars have which made the cake out of this world! The donuts were massive and so fun! Unique options like the fruity pebbles and froot loops donuts made everyone in the office smile. I could go on and on but since I'll be back and back and back again I can save the rave for future visits. Oh and the employee .... AMAZING!!!! He was so patient and helpful and friendly. All in all a 5 star experience.

Before we entered the restaurant we were "distracted" by the vibrant ice cream store in the same strip. We walked in and were overwhelmed with all the ice cream options. Speaking to the owner, he said his family owns the EL Primo Plaza. We were on a mission for food, but will definitely visit the ice cream store in the future (our plan was after dinner, but dinner was so delicious and so filling, there was no room for dessert this time...better planning next time!). The restaurant is in a Mexican convenience store, but this is not your typical Mexican convenience store. They had so many options for everything. And they have this great bakery in the back before the restaurant. Everything looked SO good! In the back is a full sit down restaurant. We were seated and it is nicely decorated and has a view into the kitchen to watch them make the food. Our server promptly greeted us with some chips and what I think was a mole sauce. They were very tasty. We decided on a watermelon drink and shared mixed fajitas. The watermelon drink was fresh watermelon and it was very refreshing. The mixed fajitas came out piping hot, full of steak chicken and good sized shrimp. Sometimes at other places you get the baby cocktail shrimp, but these were a good size and nicely grilled and seasoned. You get a nice amount of sides to make your fajitas. There was so much food that we asked for extra shells at no additional cost! We thought we put a dent in the food, but we had so much still to take home. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. The meat was nice and tender. There was a good amount of peppers and onions but it wasn't overpowered as sometimes also we have gotten fajitas elsewhere when there is mostly veggies and very little meat. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left. Very good. We have added it to the list of places to return.

They picked a perfect spot in Bristol Borough that they seemed to have partnered with Naked Brewing on. If you have kids the downstairs area is ok, but with live music I had to take my son upstairs to preserve our hearing! We found parking in the large municipal lot behind the building. Upstairs we found cozier seating at a high top table with service. Downstairs I believe you have to walk up to the bar or just sit at the bar for service. I also don't believe the full beer menu is available downstairs. The menu is full of tempting toppings and styles with your choice of regular/footlong dogs, hot sausage or kielbasa. I had a hot sausage with pepper hash and coleslaw. It had a snappy skin, decent heat and was delicious when paired with the sweet coleslaw and pepper hash. My friend ordered frank and tots and reported it to be delicious and filling. My son had a regular dog and we all shared a big pretzel with beer cheese. I had an IPA named Thank Frank that was about average for a West Coast style IPA and my pal had a couple of their darker offerings that he wasn't impressed with. Our server was nice and gave a great recommendation to add the pepper hash. She wasn't the fastest at coming to check on our beers so we bailed. I had one and she never asked if I wanted another and never refilled our waters. Prices weren't too bad. I would definitely return for some more of the interesting creations on the dawg menu, but the brews are really nothing special. Good solid time here and kid friendly, not so great service or beer.
