It was difficult to get them on the phone while waiting, so we had to go back to the store for updates. When it was delivered the drawer was broken, the wood rail inside was splintered. The delivery guy said he was NOT skilled in repair, but he jammed a few screws in the wood and the drawer worked. He said to call the office and they would send someone out. If I had gotten a great price I may have let it go, but we PAID full price. I did call, and they explained they had a death in the family. They lost their repair guy, so rather than screw around he said he would order me a new dresser and replace it. I offered him to refund me a small amount on the dresser and I would hire my own repair guy. He declined and said I should get a new one. That was over a year ago. We never got it. Several calls were not returned. From our experience, they have coastal furniture, just don't expect discounts, timely delivery, or follow up service. You get what you get.

Marburn Curtains might need some Customer Service 101!!!…read more Came into the store on a Thursday afternoon to purchase two sets of sheets and ask about a chain for a set of vertical blinds. I couldn't find the color I needed in the curtains nor any hardware for the blinds. I stood by the front register for ten minutes waiting to see if any of the two ladies working would see me. They were talking very loudly amongst themselves and complaining about personal problems, f-bombs included. I was shocked that they never even noticed that customers were in the store, let alone waiting for their help. I spoke to another customer as I made my way out, letting them know they lost a $75 sale and left. Very disappointed and will never go back here again. I'm all for letting loose when you have a slow job, but when customers come in, you have to be ready for them! After all, that's what you're getting paid for.

The foam in the seat cushion and the lumbar cushion in one of the chairs had deteriorated over the years. I called and asked if they could get replacements. They did. I went to pick them up and, when I offered to pay, they told me no payment was necessary because this typical after the sale service. My chair, the one where we replaced the foam in the cushions, has to be at least 15 years old. With renewed foam in the cushions, I'll be good for years to come. I got just what I needed at no cost. What a great store operated by great people. We will be back. Thank you, Patricia's.
