Show up early and hit the sampling bar before the tour starts. They have a bunch of teas brewed and ready to drink, and you get to go back for more after the tour ends. I tried way too many before they called us over for the 9 minute intro video, which covers the company history, how their teas get made, and the safety rules for walking through an active production plant. The mint room is the highlight. FDA rules mean you cannot step inside anymore, but you stand at the entrance and the smell hits you instantly. Back away whenever you want. Full sensory experience without the headache. Staff were warm and genuinely into their jobs. They shared fun facts, answered every question, and made it feel personal instead of rehearsed. The gift shop is also a steal, with boxes around $3.75 and seasonal flavors stocked year-round. Go on a weekday if you want smaller groups. Bring a bag for the gift shop, because you will buy more tea than you planned.

I thought that was so cute and thoughtful. Atmosphere: The whole place felt cozy, peaceful, and inviting. Before the tour, I wandered through the displays and tried so many different tea flavors. I loved learning about how everything is made and seeing all the care that goes into it. And the mint room was absolutely my favorite part. The smell hits you instantly in the best, most refreshing way! Service: Every staff member was so kind, warm, and genuinely joyful. You can tell they love what they do. They shared fun facts, answered questions, and made the whole tour feel personal and welcoming. Gift Shop: The teas in the gift shop were really affordable some around $3.75. They sell seasonal flavors all year long A great spot to stock up on favorites! Overall Experience: OverallI left feeling so grateful and refreshed. I learned a lot, tasted so many delicious teas, and felt surrounded by kindness.

Since we'd been on so many safaris before, we know what we want and expect out of a safari - and Fanuel and Kathy exceeded our expectations (and we were only their second clients!) Comfortable refurbished land cruiser with no maintenance issues, picked us up from our hotel RIGHT on time (you don't really expect that to happen too often when you're on East African time), a few breaks for tea and lunch (they even brought hot water, tea/coffee, mugs, plates, silverware, hot napkins, etc. - everything was thought out to perfection), reasonable price, help with planning other aspects of our trip/recommendations, and an overall awesome safari where we didn't feel rushed. A lot of safaris we feel the pressure to spot an animal, take a few pictures, and then move on to make sure you get through the whole park. But Fanuel and Kathy did what only good guides do - they took notice of what WE wanted.. which was to enjoy the animals that we did see (you can't expect to see everything, it doesn't matter how "good" the guide is). Also, Fanuel is super knowledgable about the animals, especially birds, and he won't ramble on about information if you're not listening. Like I said, both Kathy and Fanuel were really perceptive - it was about what WE wanted to learn about the animals and about what WE wanted out of the whole experience. 5 stars! :)

Sarah picked us up at Stonebrook Resort, where we were staying, at 5:10 a.m. Since it was early on Memorial Day, we did not need to pay an entrance fee or schedule timed entry into the park. Sarah took us up to Many Parks Curve and pointed out the numerous peaks in the distance to the northwest while describing various points of interest below. The sun rose quietly in the east, making the entire experience peaceful and beautiful. She drove us as far as Rainbow Curve, where the road was closed, then walked us farther up the road so we could take in additional views. Throughout the trip, Sarah shared local history, explained natural events over the past century that have shaped the park, and answered our many questions. We were also lucky enough to see several bull and cow moose near their calves, bull elk, bighorn rams, and even a Colorado pika. The tour lasted approximately three hours and ended back at our lodging. We highly recommend Sunrise Tours of Rocky Mountain National Park to anyone looking for a quiet, memorable experience of RMNP in all its natural beauty. Sarah was an amazing and knowledgeable guide, and her insight, warmth, and familiarity with the park made the tour even more special.

Bruce's encyclopedic knowledge of the flora, fauna and the complex ecologies of Rocky Mountain National Park provided a level of insight that I did not expect. If you are looking for a private tour that has everything Bruce is your "go to" guy!

PRO TIP: try avoiding the most back row if you have long legs or any stress with mobility. Because once you sit there, the seat is assigned and you will have to deal with being cramped in a tighter space. And you basically are always the last one to get off. This was one of the biggest cons. Moving on, the tour itself was great. We stopped by a cafe on the way to and back, for food and bathroom breaks, and pretty soon, the van took us to the Rocky Mountain with beautiful views and even saw many wildlife - the big horn sheep, elk, deer (i think), and, not to forget, smaller animals like birds, mouse, and chipmunks, but no moose spotted. Nonetheless, the breathtaking view of the Rockies is certainly worth the journey. The guide was very knowledgeable about trees and shared many stories about the places and tips for visiting Denver in general! She also took us to a few Native American owed stores that featured indigenous art that were very cool to see. One thing to note is that I think the Colorado Sightseer, the tour company, had listed at least two slightly different itineraries, and I might have been sent to the one I did not pick. I noticed because I intentionally picked the tour with visits to two visitor centers, vs the one I went on only took us to Beaver Meadows. Not a big deal bc I did get still get my stamp, and the tour used most of the day's time efficiently by visiting many attractions. But this might be something you want to make sure if the stops matter a lot to you. Nonetheless, with a group tour, it is understandable and expected for the itinerary to potentially change. For instance, the day I went, the tour guide actually too us to visit places in different order to avoid crowds. Another thing to really appreciate is that the tour provided some snacks, extra gloves/beanies, which were really a lifesaver in the cold mountains. I know I was not fully prepared for it and so glad I could borrower some!

I was so nervous walking in, but from the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel welcomed, safe, and supported. Our guide, Koa, was the perfect balance of fun, kind, and incredibly skilled. He guided us through the rapids with such confidence and ease while also making sure everyone felt safe and included. He checked in on us several times throughout and made sure we were having fun, asked us if we wanted to "spice it up" a bit or keep it mellow and just really let us know this was "our" trip and he's cater to what we wanted. I quickly found myself letting go of fear and enjoying the moment... something I didn't expect would happen. Koa's energy was contagious, and his calm, respectful nature made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. At one point on the river, another rafting company had a mishap and we had to pull over and wait for them to recover and get their riders back into the raft safely. Koa explained what had happened with total grace - no judgment, no gossip - just a calm and respectful explanation. He also spoke so kindly of his own coworkers and even the owner of Liquid Descent. You could tell he genuinely cares about the rafting community and takes pride in his work and LOVES his Liquid Descent family! Every employee we encountered was friendly, encouraging, and helpful - from getting us fitted with helmets and life jackets to cheering us on as we headed out. As someone who started out nervous, that kind of supportive vibe made a huge difference. They encouraged me, and they helped me push past my comfort zone in the best way possible. What a GREAT memory! We will remember this day not only for the thrill of the rapids, but for the kindness and heart of the people who guided us through it! If you are considering rafting in Colorado, go with Liquid Descent. I'm so glad we did!
