This is a great place to get stuff you might need like crackers or certain ingredients. You're paying a premium for the convince, so you're not going to do your entire grocery haul here. But when I'm a pinch, it's great. The hidden gem here is the deli counter in the back. You can get bagel breakfast sandwiches (and other sandwiches). They are so good! I get everything bagel with egg, cheese and I toss in a hashbrown. You can add bacon or other proteins. Super solid breakfast sammy. I live closer to the other location on Morgan, but I prefer this one's deli for some reason.

Reasonably priced sandwiches (in today's world of prices), starting around $10 depending on what you add on and using Boar's Head meats. Never have to wait long to get your order.

THE GOODS: Andouille Chicken Sausage Prior to me finding this pot of gold, most of the chicken sausages sold at Costco have apples and other unnecessary things mixed in them. These are simply made with antibiotic-free chicken, spices, seasoning and vinegar! I slice one up and pan fry it along with eggs every Sunday morning for breakfast. Lean, healthier and most of all, delish. OVERALL: Thank you, Amylu, for making these outstanding alternatives!

I needed 10 and they said if I got there early in the morning, there'd be more than enough. They were right! They had over 30 healthy, active lobsters to choose from. They gave me a free cooler with ice pack to take the lobsters. They charge $10.99 per lb for 2lbs and under so I always get between 1.75 to 2 lb lobsters. It's the perfect tail size to overall weight ratio to me. I've gone to a handful of places in Chinatown since moving to Pilsen almost 4 years ago. This is my third time coming here and it's honestly the best on quality. The great price is secondary when dealing with live seafood. Quality is the most important and Chicago Food Market delivers. They are cash only, so keep that in mind and it's honestly the only negative about this place.
