I am so grateful to Hospivet for removing a foxtail from my dog's nose. In Los Angeles the price…read morewas out of my ability to pay. HospiVet did an outstanding job and I happily paid their fee, less than $400.00 I thought I might have to put my dog to sleep if I could not get him the relief he needed. He stopped eating and I stopped eating because this was such a big problem for us both. After Buddy's successful operation, I recommended HospiVet on Nextdoor many times.

I would've given this place five stars, but there was a billing issue during a return visit. The…read morestaff were amazing and took great care of my cat after he broke his leg. My girlfriend translated for me, and I was told that when I brought him back to have the pins removed, I would only need to pay for anesthesia and medication. Since I had already prepaid in full, they even noted this on the discharge paperwork. Unfortunately, I threw the paperwork away before the appointment. When I returned, I was charged about $200 and told there were no notes indicating the pin removal was covered. A different doctor performed the procedure, which may have contributed to the charge. I expected to pay for anesthesia and medication, but not the additional fee. I paid it, and lesson learned: keep your paperwork. Aside from this issue, the staff were caring, professional, and provided excellent care for my cat. It seemed like a communication issue, but overall I had a positive experience. This will not prevent me from returning in the future.- but I will keep your paperwork!

Dr. Marquez saved my cat's life. Scipio had a very complicated liver condition and was dying. We…read morehad taken him to different vets for over a year and a half in both San Diego and Tijuana. Before we came here, it seemed he had only a couple of weeks left. He wasn't eating or passing stools, and he could barely walk. Finally someone recommended us this clinic because we were asking everywhere for a capable specialist. Dr. Marquez acted quickly to get Scipio onto the surgery schedule, and he and his team pulled off an extremely delicate procedure, removing a cyst from my boy's liver that was 800g! Scipio recovered well and is so much happier, and our lives are so much lighter for it. Before the surgery, Dr. Marquez took the time to talk to us about all that it would entail and answer our questions. After we dropped Scipio off, we elected to stay in the waiting room for several hours so we could be nearby just in case, and every person who we chatted with had trust in Dr. Marquez's skills and knowledge. Plus, I was able to make a decision regarding Scipio's medical care without agonizing over the finances of it. The team here continues to be responsive, kind, and professional. I am so grateful we found this specialty clinic. Gracias!!!!

Also, heard he removed the wrong leg on someone else's dog. This man does not deserve your business nor to care for your most precious buddy. Should you need a WONDERFUL vet I highly recommend B Street Vet, 2675 B Street, San Diego, 619-237-0600. Please do not take your babies to this monster. Also, should you need eye care specialists for your baby i just took my baby to (Eye Specialist), Central Veterinary NN, in the heart of downtown Mexico, phone number 011-52-664-9710162. Ysidro exit the vet itself is on Gral Rudolfo Sánchez Tobada. There is a 7/11 across the street I will add pics next week w/ more landmarks.

But this was so much more affordable. She is only 2 1/2 years old. How can we leave her blind? Then the stressful part was what if she couldn't see after putting her through the pain of surgery. I will say that Dr. lopez put us at ease. He did tell us that we needed to commit to helping her heal, and we needed to follow his direct orders to the T and round the clock medication. We did. She is not 100% but almost there. She was seeing with in the 2nd week, and she is able to run around freely now. Taking her to Dr. Gilbert Lopez at Otay Vet was the best thing we did for our Gig
