I had at one time highly recommended this vet but once he operated on my dog's wrong eye and…read morelaughed about when I confronted him I will NEVER tell someone to take their previous pet there. Also, heard he removed the wrong leg on someone else's dog. This man does not deserve your business nor to care for your most precious buddy. Should you need a WONDERFUL vet I highly recommend B Street Vet, 2675 B Street, San Diego, 619-237-0600. Please do not take your babies to this monster. Also, should you need eye care specialists for your baby i just took my baby to (Eye Specialist), Central Veterinary NN, in the heart of downtown Mexico, phone number 011-52-664-9710162. Ysidro exit the vet itself is on Gral Rudolfo Sánchez Tobada. There is a 7/11 across the street I will add pics next week w/ more landmarks.

But this was so much more affordable. She is only 2 1/2 years old. How can we leave her blind? Then the stressful part was what if she couldn't see after putting her through the pain of surgery. I will say that Dr. lopez put us at ease. He did tell us that we needed to commit to helping her heal, and we needed to follow his direct orders to the T and round the clock medication. We did. She is not 100% but almost there. She was seeing with in the 2nd week, and she is able to run around freely now. Taking her to Dr. Gilbert Lopez at Otay Vet was the best thing we did for our Gig

We've been coming here for several years now for vaccinations for our chihuahua. Located a few miles from the Otay border, I noticed the place when I was having work done on my vehicle at a nearby shop. I dropped in one day and saw the prices, which totally wooed me back! It had started to become inconvenient and expensive here(in US) for us. The prices are super reasonable and of course much lower than anywhere in the US. The quality and level of care is equal to if not better here, yes, believe it! Note: Take the time to exchange dollars into pesos, to avoid miscalculations and improper change back from transactions. On our occasional visits, there has been only one quality, licensed veterinarian that does all the exams and vaccines. Actually, we like this. He remembers our dog even though we come only once a year, and this goes a long way with us. He scolded my wife when she confessed to giving our little dog pork & chicken bones. I warned her.. More of a personal touch. It's never been a long wait time, and we can drop off the dog and hit Wicho's across the street, or shop at Soriana, which happens to be in the same parking lot. We always call ahead,(which I recommend)to make sure the doctor is in that day. It is a full on pet and feed store too with many items for cats, dogs, birds, chickens, etc. They have found a customer for life!!
