    At her appoint.

The best doctor's in my opinion and the best staff! They have taken such great care of my two babies and I will never know how to thank them for saving my Mochi's life. She had acute pancreatitis Dr. Alejandra and Dr. Barret took such good care of her. Put her on the proper meds, gave her on an IV treatment my girl was dying and she was only three years old. They also found out she was allergic to chicken (all poultry) grass, dirt, she would breakout in these skin rashes and I didn't know why... They helped me figure it out and once I started her on her allergy meds, switched her diet up and she plays on our deck, takes longer walk's, she's the happiest girl! Yes, she goes to the beach and park once in a while but she'll bathe right after. My youngest pup has leaped off the couch and fractured her back leg in two places she needed surgery and so we scheduled the surgery after they controlled her pain, they assured me she would be just fine (she's only 7lbs) I was worried about her being under anesthesia but they called me within three hours to let me know she was up and trying to stand up already! They took great care of her and within 10 days we went back to have her stitches taken out. Continue to let it heal and now she's faster than ever! I'm so grateful for everyone who's helped along the way. I highly recommend Palmas e Hipódromo Veterinaria! We love them and tell so many people with pets about it.

They are amateurs when it comes to suturing a pet after a procedure. And the lab they use to send their blood products to are unreliable . I had my dogs blood retested in san diego and it was nothing like what they presented to me prior to my dogs neuter. I still had his neuter done there because I knew better . I knew he'd be fine either way. The suture on the bottom half came off and I placed a staple at work to keep it closed. I'm a veterinary technician so it works out. The are very unprofessional when it comes to presentation, this is a butchers job And to think the doctor questioned me for wanting coags on my dog, when it was well necessary being they deemed my dog "thrombocytopenic" due to his platelets and coagulation times being off. Give me a break anything to make an extra buck and run a extra test Anyway toodles

Ella sigue recuperando gracias a Dios. Gracias Dr. Daniel y Palmas hospital por su cariño y atención. Definitivamente recomiendo este hospital a mi familia/amigos y a todos los demás

This vet was awesome! My dog injured his leg and I was so worried he broke it, but they saw him right away without an appointment! The vet was kind and thorough and explained everything during and after the X-rays! Excellent service with such an inexpensive price I only regret forgetting to ask them for the medical line pass to cross back into the states faster

Very friendly and helpful staff. Never have waited more than 20 mins to get checked. Prices are reasonable as well which is a plus.

I felt she was too much, but she was always answered promptly and sent short videos of them enjoying their stay. One of the dogs developed an ear infection (common for her) while there. I was sent text messages with pictures immediately and Stitxh even cleaned her ears which gave her some relief. Stitch knows his business very well and treated my dogs spectacularly. I had no worries or concerns. Well, maybe a little to get my dog to the vet but she just had dirty ears from the constant hair growth in there. I would highly recommend using this service if you want the best care for your fur babies and want them in capable hands. Was impressed with all the knowledge!

Are they under new ownership? What has changed?…read more We've used Camp Run-A-Mutt several times over the years for overnight boarding and have always had a great experience, which is why this recent stay was so surprising. When making the reservation, I noticed that a few of my dog's vaccinations would expire during his stay. We took care of getting them updated weeks in advance and made sure the vaccination certificates were sent to Camp Run-A-Mutt. I even confirmed with a staff member at the front desk that they had received everything and that my dog was all set for his stay. A few days before our trip, I received a call saying my dog was missing vaccinations. I asked which ones, and of course they were the very vaccinations we had already updated and submitted. I explained that they had the records, the employee put me on hold, then came back and confirmed everything was in order and said they'd see him on Thursday. Then things got even more frustrating. On Thursday, as I was landing in another state for my vacation, my daughter--who was dropping my dog off before catching her own flight--called me in a panic. She was being told they couldn't accept him because his rabies vaccine wasn't up to date. I immediately called the facility and explained that we had already confirmed his records twice. The employee put me on hold, checked the records, and sure enough, they had his current rabies certificate the entire time. They admitted everything was up to date and accepted him. A few days later, while we were still out of state, I received another call saying my dog was being quarantined and separated from the other dogs because his vaccinations supposedly weren't current. At this point, this was the third time in less than a week that the exact same issue had come up. I again explained that his vaccinations were current and that their staff had already confirmed this multiple times. The employee put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Thankfully, my daughter was only a few hours away and was able to rush over and pick him up. When I called to pay for his stay over the phone and let them know he was being picked up, I was initially told they couldn't accept payment over the phone. That was confusing because I've paid over the phone for previous stays without any issue. When I asked if it was a new policy, the employee admitted it wasn't--they just didn't know how to process a phone payment. They had to get someone else to help before I was finally able to pay. I'm honestly not sure what's changed, but the organization and communication were completely different from the excellent service we've received in the past. The repeated confusion over vaccination records--which they already had on file and repeatedly confirmed--caused unnecessary stress while my family was traveling out of state and ultimately resulted in our dog being removed from daycare and picked up early. We've always been happy with Camp Run-A-Mutt, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope this was just an isolated breakdown in communication, but based on our recent experience, I no longer feel confident leaving my dog there.

I found Jess while looking around online for dog-sitting services with reactivity experience. In my initial call with Jess, I found she has a reactive dog on her own and knew how to deal with it. Our other Frenchie is a senior dog. While she is easy to care for, there are a few special instructions on potty breaks and feeding. My husband was against the idea of having someone we did not know come in and stay with our dogs. Jess scheduled an in-person meeting with us about 6 weeks before our vacation. She immediately made us both feel at ease. I am also one of those annoying helicopter dog moms who leave detailed Google Doc instructions on schedule, feeding, playtime, etc. Jess read through all of it and kept to the information I provided. She sent us daily updates, videos, and photos while we were on vacation out of the country. She was highly communicative the entire time. We even asked her to do a few simple household things which were not dog related (keep an eye on our garden and put out some items for pickup), and she took care of them. She also cared for our chameleon, giving him food and water daily. When we returned back from vacation, our dogs were happy and the house was as we left it. I was very anxious about leaving the dogs leading up to our trip but Jess made sure I did not have a worry while we were away. We highly recommend Jess!

The 3 star is for the receptionist!…read more We first came to this clinic about four months ago when our dog was very sick, and we had a great experience with Dr. Sayra. She was kind, compassionate, spoke perfect English, kept us updated throughout the visit, and took the time to explain our dog's condition and treatment plan clearly. She made an incredibly stressful situation much easier, and we're very grateful for the care she provided. We also saw the cardiologist while we were there. Although he seemed knowledgeable, he wasn't very friendly and often appeared annoyed when we asked questions. As worried pet owners, we were simply trying to understand our dog's condition, so his attitude was disappointing. Unfortunately, our recent experiences with the front desk have been frustrating. Last month, when our dog needed to be seen urgently, we couldn't get an appointment. The receptionist told us to take her to another clinic. We requested a referral, but our message was completely ignored. This week, I tried scheduling an appointment a few days in advance. The receptionist asked for my name and my dog's name so she could look us up in the system. After I provided the information, she never responded back. I followed up the next morning, and my message was still ignored. This was a completely different experience from the receptionist we dealt with four months ago, who always responded promptly and was very helpful. Dr. Sayra deserves five stars for her excellent care, but the lack of communication and responsiveness from the front desk has been very disappointing. When you're dealing with a sick pet, timely communication matters just as much as good medical care. I hope the clinic improves its customer service because their veterinarians deserve better support. I'd recommend to go down the street to New Vet. They are helpful and responsive!
