This is a great stop for tons of stores, restaurants and entertainment. We went during a street fair and there was tons of people. Its worth stopping by Hatchville Baking Company and Smith Family Popcorn. Both stores are fresh and delicious. Family Popcorn even has Dels ices which I've been searching for on the cape. Parking can be challenging at times, but they have big lots around the commons. I highly recommend stopping here for a fun day. read more

We were driving inland from Falmouth and saw Mashpee Commons in our guide book. We looked them up on Yelp and decided to make a side trip here on our way to Hyannis We mistakenly assumed that Mashpee Commons was a tiny strip mall. It's actually a west coast like, open air shopping mall, meant to look and feel like a Norman Rockwell painting. Here all of the stores are built out separately. Clearly they went to a lot of trouble to re-create that new england village feel. Except here that new england village is dedicated to shops and stores. This is no Stockbridge Village, but you need to come here for the Clothing stores, household Christmas item and tons more; plus some very cute novelty shoppes as well. I love this place! It has so many options for food l, clothing g and much more! It has so many different restaurants my favorite is Trevi it is marvelous! After Trevi I take my kids to the frozen yogurt shop right down the street! This is why I love this place and I recommend this place to family's with children! read more

Mashpee Commons attempts to be a village/marketplace, mimicking a New England town. The parking lots make sense... the parking along the "streets" not so much, considering the pedestrian traffic. They have a pleasant (and enormous) Williams-Sonoma, various clothing/shoe shops,a Tesla store, and several restaurants. The "North Market" has fewer stores, so, in Bay Area parlance, it's best to go South of Market, or SoMa. It tends towards the pricey, but it's a nice place to stroll on a leisurely summer evening. read more

Nicest shopping area on the cape. Not too far from Hyannis or the mid cape, but a hike from Chatham. Wonderful mix of shops from high end to mid range. Nice restaurants, could use a few more. It is all outdoors with little covering, so if it is raining or cold, it is not too convenient. Plenty of parking all around, but it has been added onto several times, so it is a little confusing. It's basically an upscale outdoor mall/shopping village, and we had a great time here poking around the shops. We also ate an excellent meal at one of the restaurants and I am dying to remember the name of it so I can yelp it. It seemed to be Italian - but we ordered one of the BEST lobster rolls there. It's a great place to take a walk and spend money. Mashpee Commons has all kinds of boutique stores and restaurants, but they also have some big name stores like Vineyard Vines, Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma. They also have places that provide great entertainment, like the movie theater and The Lanes Bowl and Bistro. However, if you're looking for big department stores, you might want to head to Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis. It's also worth noting that this place is outside, so dress accordingly. read more

The "Commons" as the locals call it, is a wonderful place to shop, dine and have fun. I grew up in Falmouth, and went to the Commons at least once a week. I'm happy to say that over the past 20 years, the Commons has really expanded, and some wonderful brands like Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma have moved in over the years. Whether you need a "Gone to the Beach" sign at Maiden Voyage, a new beach dress at Lilly Pulitzer, a a fancy cigar at Tinder Box, your fix on the new action movie at Regal Cinemas, a funky new bracelet from M. Braunn or a new dutch oven at Williams-Sonoma, the Commons has you covered. You could walk around for hours and enjoy a great time. I have loved the Commons my entire life, and can't recommend it highly enough for a fun afternoon! read more

What's not to like about a fake town? It is cute and adorable just like what it would look like if there had ever been a town of Mashpee. The upscaleish stores are nice albeit chains and the local one offs are actually very nice. Walk around and enjoy its small town like atmosphere take in a few local shops and buy stuff from them, see the old Mall stand bys and have a drink. It is very pleasant for a fake town. read more

It seems as though hoity outdoor malls are all the rage these days, and Mashpee Commons certainly fits that mold. Expect to find most of the usual suspects here: Starbucks, Banana Republic, The Gap, etc. Additionally there are several unique yet hoity local stores, a few hoity restaurants, even a hoity candy shoppe. Most shops here consider themselves to be "shoppes", it's that kind of place. The movie theater here is kind of lacking as far as modern amenities (wide seats, stadium seating, big big screen...none of these are happening) but hey, they are bringing new releases right to the Cape, so I can't complain about that. read more

Shoes!, Williams Sonoma, Chico's, White House/Black Market & Purple Poppy amongst others. A few restaurants, most notably Bobby Byrne's & also a Regal Cinema is on the premises. A large area to cover walking-about on a hot humid day, so it's wise to pick the area of the Commons that has the most shops that interest you and park nearby. They're open 10am-9pm on weekdays but don't make the same mistake we did one Sunday & show up for 10am, they don't open until 11 & close at 5. read more

I love the Commons and Im not just saying that because I have a store there. The previous reviews are correct in that it is a well-thought out shopping marketplace. The big stores like Banana and The Gap appeal to the younger crowd and Talbots and The Purple Poppy appeal to the older (not necessarily old) crowd. There are cool unique shops like my own, Hot Diggity ;) as well as Picket Fences for kids, Alizee and Sorbus. Sorbus sells some great Prana yoga wear and their owners are super nice and knowledgeable. Siena has awesome salads and their chef, Pierce is great at his job. read more

I agree. This is a great place to go shopping or just walk around. Unlike the Derby Street shops which is essentially a giant parking lot with a border of stores that surround it, Mashpee Commons is a thoughtfully laid out area. They have your usual retail stores and a $tarbucks. But to balance the large retailers they have several small cafes/ restaurants and some niche stores. It gets extra points for a Vineyard Vines store. read more

Most stores were out of business. Lots of empty buildings. Only thing open worth going to was the Gap. Which actually was a waste going to since there was no good sales compared to other gaps I've been to. Don't bother going out of your way to go here. read more

Mashpee Commons is a great place with many stores, restaurants, etc. I have lived near there for 20 years, and I love to visit frequently with family and friends. Recently the GAP store changed to LLBean, and because of poor treatment, I will not patronize LLBean again. I was in LLBean today and encountered a problem. I bought 2 pair of pants on sale, one blue, one grey. Upon checkout, although all numbers matched, the grey pair was $5.00 more. I spoke with the manager, Grace, and she said basically "so sad, too bad". For $5.00 she is willing to lose a customer. read more

What a gem of a place. About 15 mins from New Seabury home we were staying at. Didn't know what to expect but very well put together. Typical dining/shopping experience from America. All done well and tasteful. Just what us Brits like. A bit of class. Parking is ample restaurants a plenty. Particularly liked Bobby Byrnes. With so many historic vibrant downtowns on Cape Cod I wonder why one would visit a newly created one. Still like many I was passing by and unlike my first visit a few years back I had time to roam. Unlike many outdoor centers I have visited Mashpee Commons probably is different. First, the center is laid out in various streets with store side parking. Second, the center has a mix of national and small business owners. Third, they have a few essential services like a drug store, doctor office, and a organic grocery store . Finally, this center has many stores but I think a small department store would really "authenticate" this center as a downtown experience read more

After about a billion expansions and renovations, it looks like MC is losing its touch. Parts of the original mall area look old and tired. Signage is minimal and hard to find. You need a bloodhound and a topo map to find the restrooms. I'm hoping they will take the winter to do some sprucing up and be back to their old ways for 2015. read more

This is a pleasant Disney-town type of place with moderately upscale shops and lots of places to sit, munch, even read. I enjoy shopping and this is a very pleasant spot to check out the food, fashions, and furnishings. I look forward to spending some summer days here. It's a cut above the Cape Cod Mall. While on vacation I shopped at Mashpee Commons, one of my favorite places. Ask anyone that knows me, I do not ever write or give a bad review but... I was shopping for a special dress and bought one at Ooh! Ooh! Shoes! I did more shopping on the Commons and found another and I could not keep both. Another thing I never do is return right after I buy...but...agh. I went in and explained and the man at the register said store policy was store credit only when returning. I looked at him blankly and then he slid a plant aside and there in a very small frame in very small writing was the return policy. Really? I also told him that the sales clerk that worked with me as well as the cashier never once mentioned the policy to me as I bought. I own the very expensive dress and will wear it but I just think it's awful - they are located at a vacation resort so store credit will not work for a lot of shoppers. Please make your policy more clear and train your staff. They made me feel not worthy of being in there. read more
