Prior to his arrival, the owner called me to let me know his estimated arrival time. The owner's son did the work and was very competent. The job proved to be more complicated than he expected, but he did a fine job regardless. When I first called, I asked for a ballpark figure on what it would cost, and when the bill came it was exactly what he quoted. Communication was excellent, pricing was fair, and work was excellent, neat and efficient. You just can't get any better than that.

As a general contractor with over 20 years in business, I was not impressed with their work. They ripped out whatever was in their way and left a mess that had to be fixed/covered up. In one instance, they only needed a couple inches and they could have installed the duct behind a closet wall/bi-fold door but instead they busted up the trim and tore out framing to do their install directly in the way of the door. I understand that the owner who was selling the house probably didn't care - they likely just wanted the "cheapest" thing done to get the sale, but it showed a distinct lack of foresight AND a lack of respect for the new owners (my sister, brother-in-law and their kids). It really isn't THAT much more difficult to CARE about one's work! Based on that, I cannot recommend them.
