We had leather repair experts come to look at our leather sectional to see if it could be repaired. The color had started to come off in areas. Overall the sectional was good. The owner Donald came and said he could make it like new ! Boy was he right! It came out excellent and looks just like new. He did a fantastic job. We couldn't have been more pleased. He covered everything and cleaned up so well you would never know we had anything done. He was a pleasure to deal with a real gentleman as well as a great craftsman. I can't thank him enough. Donald provides a professional service that is hard to find. We have a leather sectional that is 8 years old but has felt soft and looked saggy since year 2. Since most of the leather was good, Donald rebuilt the core and replaced the foam. He replaced and matched one piece of leather. It is now better than new! Not cheap, but worth it for less than half the original cost and much less than a replacement. Donald was responsive, happy to share his knowledge, and exceeded expectations. On June **, 2018 Mr Mason worked on my couch. He fixed the middle cushion where 3 pieces of leather smaller than a pencil eraser peeled off. He indicated he would replace and dye the leather to a near perfect match. He said the arm and first cushion needed repair that the first cushion was fraying and arm needed stuffing. and it was less expensive to do now then take the couch apart again later- I let him do it. When finished the couch looked beautiful.I paid him $1400. Within two months the dye started wearing off leaving splotches and the leather started over stretching. The arm slouches. Mr. Mason came to my home and agreed it was a sub par job. We negotiated a $400 partial refund, $200 payable by Sept ** and $200 payable by Oct **, 2018. First check was late and has bounced. Who could match so perfectly a Wedgwood Blue Philip Engel sofa and loveseat over 20 years old, with extensive scratching, and make it come out like new? Well, he did! We were in desperate need for a leather chair sectional recliner repair and to be reupholstered. The set is about 15 years old and a teal color leather. Two sections of our leather sectional were in need of repair after many scratches on the seats from our dog. From start to finish, Don was a real professional. On time, worked clean, polite. You could see first hand that he REALLY knew what he was doing - he is a true craftsman. He matched our leather perfectly, reupholstered the sections and also did some repairs to the padding. It came out absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased with Don and his work. His was at our house from approximately 8am - 9:30pm and worked meticulously the entire time (minus a quick lunch break). That type of work ethic is hard to come by these days.
