Every time I'm in there I asked for non advanced and am given the same room regardless well today they said the advanced was the only one available and it was that same room, I feel like I'm always being played here... I don't mind the advanced cold plunge but I'd sure prefer the other one. Also my first experience was great here with staff and every other since I feel as if I'm a bother to them. I don't typically make an appointment but I don't mind waiting because it's hard for me to guess my off work time so I'd hate to make one and not be able to honor my commitment. I definitely understand it's busy mornings here but friendly goes a long way. I do appreciate the efforts to accommodate but I guess I'll start making appointments to see if something changes. Are we charged for appointments if we can't make them?

I purchased the Black Card membership since I live in Montgomery and all my friends live closer to downtown. The Black Card allows me to visit any location and bring a guest for free. This way I can meet a friend at any location and have a workout buddy. Mason is my home location and it's very nice so far. Everyone who works at the desk is very nice and they always welcome you when you walk in. They do the same thing on your way out. On my first day, I signed up for an short orientation, since I've never belonged to a gym and had no idea what to expect. I was shown around by Angelo, who was very friendly and showed me everything the gym had to offer. He also told me that you can sign up for a class on the app called "Design Your Own Program" where you meet with him to set a goal and he helps you achieve it. I came back the next day and met with Angelo. I told him I want to run the Flying Pig 5K in May, and he helped me cater a workout for the first two weeks. He told me he would reach out and meet with me again to change up the workout. He showed me how to use each machine and the proper settings to put them on to achieve my goal. Angelo is so nice and nonjudgmental. He's great! So far I'm really digging Planet Fitness. Let's see how long I can keep this gym trend up before I quit....

I sent multiple emails to Mason and corporate. Corporate responded I had to contact Mason-still no response-now there is a new manager who gave me email of his boss-who is not part of franchise-his boss Josh has not called me. I went to cancel just so monthly fees would stop and was told I would be charged for this month because I was 3 days too late. Because a debit card is the only acceptable payment for Planet Fitness I have no way to get my money refunded This is criminal and I never thought I could be scammed like this

We don't tend to use the shower facilities or steam/sauna areas, but the exercise machines are well-maintained and it's not over-crowded. Plenty of towels for working out. I even left my earbuds on a treadmill once, and they were turned into the desk and I got them back :). One thing that I wish they would consider...the ambient temp in the exercise area is way too high. I have to bring my own portable fan to use on the treadmill. I'm wondering whether the temperature is according to ACSM guidelines....

And was given the ok to start working out again. Despite my injuries. My personal trainer Alyssa is fantastic. Knowledgeable and so helpful. Great personality. A goal of a workout is for one to be challenged. I can count on her to do just that. She is helping me regain my strength and confidence. Cannot thank her enough!

Months later I came to visit Cincy and we decided to go in for back-to-back sessions as first-timers to share the experience together. Chantell (the owner) is amazing. She managed and maintained the whole place by herself, I don't think she ever sits down for more than 5 seconds. Understandably when I called, it often reached the voicemail instead, but when she was available she immediately returned my calls and she also left a very very detailed voicemail in trying to accommodate our last-minute request. Keep in mind that it was during the holiday break, with the spa closing several days and amidst fully booked dates. You can also text the number instead of leaving voicemail, just FYI. She returned both my voicemail and my text, how's that for thoroughness. I'd rate her customer service 10 out of 10. She was super friendly, professional and her customer service skill is above and beyond. While we weren't able to go in for back-to-back float therapies, she was able to make arrangement so both of us could come in during the same time slot. I did the infra-red sauna and he did the 60-minutes float therapy. When we arrived, the place was just opened and they just restored everything from power outage earlier that morning. Despite the stressful start of her day, Chantell immediately greeted us warmly with a big smile, her energy pulled you in and really made you feel welcomed. She immediately sat us down with a tablet to fill our form. There's a desk where you can help yourself with some tea and chocolates. She gave us a tour of all the services they are offering: cold plunge, float pod, infra-red sauna, meditation room and massages. Wowee.. a one-stop relaxation haven for sure. The cleanliness of the entire establishment was immaculate and every room was well-organized. Though the earlier power outage did seem to cause disruptions that morning, for example the water wasn't hot enough for tea before our session began, and some of the functions (like music and light switch) were experiencing some technical difficulties when he was in his float pod. He also forgot about his neck support (user error) so it took him longer to relax. All in all, he said it was an interesting experience but would recommend going in for the float therapy pre-relaxed first, maybe after a massage. But FYI, it typically takes 20 minutes for your body and mind to relax, so if you want to float, I recommend doing a 60-minutes session. You can float with tight swimsuit/swimpants, or if you're planning to go in your underwear, don't forget to bring spare! My infra-red sauna was amazing. Chantell gave very clear instructions, and she walked me thoroughly how to start the 30-minutes timer, music and how to set the temperature. The light therapy feature was out of order but it didn't really affect my infra-red sauna all that much. The heat felt fantastic. I was sweating like a really good workout. It simulates a great calories-burning cardio workout very well. I was afraid that it would ruin my lash extension but I'm happy to report that it did not. The same with the above mentioned, it took me about 10-15 minutes to quiet the mind and completely turn my brain off and surrender to relaxation. For infra-red sauna, you'd go in nude but they provide towels if you want to partially cover up or wipe off sweat. In every room there's a rain shower, complete with washcloth and towel, plus the body wash, shampoo and conditioner smell sooo good. While I was done with my session, I waited in the waiting room and she made sure to check on me if I needed anything. All-in-all, despite the hectic morning and some minor technical difficulties, I knew Chantell bent over backwards to provide us the best service and to accommodate our last-minute requests, I was very pleased with how we were treated and with my first-time infra-red sauna experience. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place for sure.

Everything about this place is amazing. I have plenty of experience with saunas (IR and…read moretraditional) in other cities but have been looking for a good place in Cinci to pop into for a good heat session. Online booking makes finding an available time even easier. When you check in, the place is absolutely spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. I can only review the IR sauna so far so here goes: The saunas are private and spacious enough to lie down or sit up. You can control the heat and/or timer which is also very nice. There is chromotherapy (light therapy) inside the sauna and you can set it to whatever color you choose. Inside the room is a robe, socks, towels and bottles of water to keep you hydrated. There's not much more you can ask for. Tips: -You will be hot and sweating when you finish so dress appropriately and take the time you need when you finish - If you want something other than water, bring it. - Maybe bring a stick of deodorant to get you by until you can shower at home. - Book early, there is only 1 IR sauna and it seems to book up

The next day I didn't have heavy legs during my run and minimal muscle soreness after weights. I deal with the pain of fibromyalgia almost daily and Cryotherapy is finally something that helps alleviate my pain in a safe and natural way. The best part about it all is how welcoming and friendly the staff is. They answer all of my questions with a smile and never make me feel like I'm asking something stupid. They were extremely patient and overall kind. The owner wants the community to feel their best and it shows. I can't praise this place enough!
