The doctors here are incredible, specifically Dr. Kannabiran. However, the administrative offices/scheduling is less than great. I've had pleasant experiences while checking in and out for appointments but getting ahold of anyone via phone is near impossible, even for urgent matters. I've had to chase down the surgery scheduler multiple times even after being assured she would contact me directly and I would not need to reach out. I've also had 2 voicemails go unreturned from the person who handles record transfer requests. Given this is an urgent, complex case, I hope it does not delay my transfer of care. I understand doctor's offices get busy but I wish the admin matched the caliber of the doctors there. read more

Only because I couldn't leave a zero star rating. Massachusetts ENT has probably the worst practice I have ever been to in my life. I got there at 11:20 for an 11:30 appointment sat till 12:20 finally got up. Went to the desk, asked if I was forgotten about and was berated basically about coming at the lady at the desk. Her name is Pat. By the way for anybody who has dealt with Pat, she is probably the worst customer service person I've ever dealt with in my life and I do not understand why she would be the first person that anybody would see when they would come into an office. This review is about the quality of patient care. I would imagine that it's not uncommon for the Doctor to experience a scenario where everything looks good. The quality of patient care is a measure of how much of an effort the doctor makes to determine root cause or potential contributing factors. In my case, Dr Lauretano did not make any effort at all. My entire appointment was approximately 15 minutes which resulted in "everything looks good. I do not see anything." $500 for a 15 minute visit and no root cause or recommendations. I discussed my dissatisfaction with their billing manager and asked for a discount in billing due to poor service. However, she refused to reduce my bill. I had to go out-of-network with another doctor to diagnose root cause. This other doctor took her time and spent 30 minutes with me to identify potential root causes that were not visible during examination. I followed her advice and am now problem free with no required prescriptions. Now that is what I call quality patient care. Based on my experience, Massachusetts ENT provides very low quality service. read more

Called them repeatedly to try to make an appointment and couldn't get through to them. They would occasionally return my calls but always when I was working abd unable to take the call. I finally called a different practice and got through to them right away. read more

Doctors are decent but the staff NEVER answers the phone!!! I called first thing in the morning and had 99 calls ahead of me so I pressed * for a call back like the prompt says but never got a call back. This has happened on multiple occasions. Awful awful customer service. When you go there they are just sitting and chit chatting. They need to clean house because their practice is ruined by the office staff alone. read more

Worst ENT office ever. I waited an hour and a half, and still waiting currently. They don't keep you updated that they are behind. They just leave you waiting. They have the smallest waiting room ever that is hotter than the desert and you can't breathe. Everyone is just sitting there touching each other because there is no arm or leg room. The follow up from Dr. Steins group was significantly delayed and I only received a response after contacting them multiple times after waiting and not hearing back. Doctor did not make me feel very confident in his abilities during the consultation. Going elsewhere read more

Well, I am not sure where to begin with this business. I called Friday morning to see if I could get an appointment soon with the doctor for my daughter who has an ear infection that didn't clear up with antibiotics from an urgent care office. I called them as soon as they open and the phone just kept ringing and then all of a sudden it would flip to voicemail. I did that about five times on the sixth. They actually you could tell picked up the phone and put it right on hold didn't you say ENT office nothing so I sat there for a few minutes. They didn't come back so I said screw this. I don't have all day to wait. I called back again and when the voicemail came up, I left a voicemail called several hours later and unfortunately I was driving so I was on the phone in my vehicle and in a bad reception area, so the woman was talking down to me that called me back I told her I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and dependent she goes stop stop it go too fast for me. I'm like you do this all day long. You know what the hell it is I said I am, she goes well. Why don't you call us back? I said oh hell no I said I'll never get through to you guys. I said let me find a place to pull over that I have. cell service then she started. I'm not quite sure what she was saying, but I took it as what am I taking up your time do not want to be on this call and that's exactly what I said out loud to her and she goes you're driving and I go I told you I was pulling over so I found a safe place to pull over and I was speaking loud so she could hear me because Again was on the speaker I was pulling out my insurance card and what are you calling me? I said no I'm not calling. I said I'm speaking louder so you could hear me. Oh so you're calling me deaf she says again she goes hold on she put me on hold that. when that pissed me off because I work at a medical office and I know that shit that people do to patients when they're rude and I was not being rude. I wanted her to hear me clearly she was the rude one so I know what she did was she? She probably put me on mute and I said out loud, I said I will never come to this place. I said she think she's hurting me but she's hurting a child for not getting any medical help and I said I will write an extremely bad review about this company and I will never go back. If I was the owner of this company, I would go through that office with a fine tooth comb and I would fire every single one of those girls. And I know how rude they are because I had to have an appointment back in January there ass little bitches is what they are. Shouldn't even be working with the public you could tell that they absolutely hate their jobs, so a big heads up to anybody looking I would not go there so I had to take my kid to Mass General in Waltham. We are her pediatric doctor. And I've given this place one star because I have to other than that. We have -1000 stars because they suck you never ever ever talk to a patient that way you don't know what they are going through. read more

Very rude people work here. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and the call was disconnected. The people in accounting and reception act like gods. My recommendation would be to go to any other ENT nearby as these people dont respect patients. They called me at 4:15 PM and left no voicemail. But when you call back the facility is already closed. Not sure what they expect. Very unprofessional. read more

I would leave zero stars but that wasn't an option. I asked Dr Stein to fix a small hole that was causing a whistle in my nose. He put a septal button in which was so large that it made me miserable. Headaches, constant sneezing feeling; it was awful. I have NEVER had any sinus issues, no history of drug use; just a tiny hole. My physician first saw it and called it 'tiny'. Dr. Stein took out the button in his office and left my nose permanently RUINED. I have a hole in my septum the size of a NICKEL!!! I have virtually NO septum separating my nostrils. He never told me that I would end up like this and he certainly never told me that he would be making a tiny hole HUGE to 'fix' a whistle. This doctor seemed a little too eager to perform surgery and I should have listened to my gut on this one. I trusted this doctor and I feel mislead, unimportant and he won't even address the condition he left my nose in. I have written to him several times. read more
