John and Jamie were incredible hosts. They shared with us that the resort is under new ownership and told us about some of the improvements they have already made. For our first time being there, it was the perfect getaway and exactly what we needed. The cabin was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. It had multiple TVs, including one in the dining/living area and one in the bedroom, a full kitchen, and honestly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Anything we needed, John and Jamie were there to help and made sure we had a great experience. Our weekend getaway was peaceful, relaxing, and a great time away from home. We are already planning to go back in the next couple of months and hope to make it a regular trip for us. I highly recommend Lake Davis Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and updated with simple furnishings that provided everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The beautiful pictures of animals on the walls complemented the natural surroundings and gave the room a warm, welcoming feel that fit perfectly with the peaceful outdoor setting. We checked in at 4:00 p.m., and John made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He answered all of our questions and gave us a great introduction to the resort and the area. The resort is easy to access and located in a quiet neighborhood where we felt completely safe. Communication was excellent, every email and text we sent received a quick response, and Jaime (we didn't get to met her) and John was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If you're looking for a clean, peaceful, pet-friendly getaway with outstanding customer service, we highly recommend Lake Davis Resort. We stopped in for some more info. They gave us a "Leaf Peeper" bag which included a "Leaf Peeper" sign to put in our rear window (so other drivers would know we were looking for fall colors) with some ticky-tacky gum to affix it o our window; a small bottle of glass cleaner rand several paper towels; more maps and more brochures. This has got to be one of the best visitors centers we've been to. There are pamphlets for every interest possible (wildlife viewing, birding, museums, historical sites, trains, Native American sites, etc. etc) The staff there is so warm, friendly and helpful. Carrie spent a lot of time answering our questions. And they have two resident cats----two large tabby brothers named Mowgli and Balloo (ie from The Jungle Book by Kipling). They are so laid back. We didn't notice them since they were lounging around on the bench and blended in.

There are lakefront sites on both sides of the small loop and even the sites on the inside have some views of the water too. The sites are clean, equipped with picnic table and a fire ring, longer pads for larger RVs and enough space to carefully squeeze in two vehicles and a large camper! The layout of each site is spacious, but it is still a campground, so you'll see and hear your neighbors, especially if you're on the inside. On the lakesides there are more trees and the sites seem a bit larger, so the lines of sight are better for avoiding neighbors. At the end of the loop there's an ADA pathway that goes out to the point overlooking the water. There's also a picnic table and small charcoal grill so you could have a nice dinner there if you wanted. Beaches are pretty Sandy and the water was cool but not cold. The lake has a lot of boat activity and many camped here had launched and beached their boats for the weekend. The boat traffic around Long Point was minimal, so it's a great kayak and tube area too! All in all a great, reservable campground with quite a few first come first serve sites too. Do it!

There was several great bands on Friday night - they stopped playing at 10:00pm so I could still get my beauty sleep . the bathroom looks like it's been recently updated - nicely done! Quintopia has great beer choices and an amazing menu! I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Corn Ribs. Delicious!!!

Camping at Antelope Lake this summer was the perfect and quiet getaway. The campsites are huge and…read morethere are tons of trees, so you'll always have a place to string up your hammock. The paved road through the campground loops is wide enough to get a truck and pretty long trailer through with ease. Restrooms are clean and well stocked. Most importantly, the lake level is HIGH! This is rare for alpine lakes this year it seems, so it was a pleasant surprise that we could get to the water easily. The lake is large with lots of fingers, so there is no shortage of good fishing spots. The water is clean and was actually surprisingly warm also. It was comfortable to swim in, and the dogs loved playing fetch because there is a 50ish foot long underwater shelf near this camping area before the lake gets really deep.
