I was in Quincy for a plein-air class with Geoff Allen (organized by mark Reynolds owner of Bear Creek Gallery). Quincy Courtyard Suites It is a Quaint hotel in the middle of Quincy. Walking distance to many coffee shops and restaurants (I loved The Sage and Salt). The place is Clean. Great price. Studio apartment with well appointed kitchen (refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee maker with coffee!) The Wine Bar downstairs is awesome. There was several great bands on Friday night - they stopped playing at 10:00pm so I could still get my beauty sleep . the bathroom looks like it's been recently updated - nicely done! Quintopia has great beer choices and an amazing menu! I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Corn Ribs. Delicious!!! read more

We loved our apartment. One set of stairs led to the lively upscale wine bar and parking. The other set of stairs led down to Main Street. Everything was walking distance from the room/ apartment. Our apartment had 2 huge bedrooms one had a king bed the other was a super comfortable queen bed overlooking Main Street. There was a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and also a claw foot bathtub. Included was a spacious living room & full kitchen. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean. There's more. There was very nice shady balcony which was enjoyable place to hangout and also laundry facilities. The rooms were few and the place was very quaint and well maintained. I look forward to staying there again. read more

Amazing room, huge and spacious, perfect location central to town. Kind folks at the bar.

What an amazing space and incredible staff. We blew into town after getting caught in a storm. I called and spoke with Barbara who hooked us up in amazing studio. The place is so clean and incredibly comforting. More importantly, this small town took us in as there own and helped us navigate a difficult situation. Barbara went above and beyond to help us. After being stuck on the road for hours and amidst a personal crisis she and the town came together to resolve our crisis. Their warmth brought us all to tears. Also, the wine bar downstairs was a nice bonus and helped take the edge off. I can't say enough about this incredible place and eve amazing people who run it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! The room is large and clean. However there is a bar in the back on the bottom floor. My room was above the bar and being a Friday night, it noisy with loud music and voices until 1AM! In addition, checkin asked us to leave bikes outside the room. Considering they are trying be a biking destination and the cost of bikes, they should have posted this limitation on their website. read more

Barb, the Manager, was delightful and helpful. The room was very nice and clean with a kitchenette, sofa, tv. I was able to make coffee in the morning and there was half & half in the fridge. There's a wine bar downstairs. Everyone was so friendly. Great place to stay if you have a son/daughter or grandchild going to FRC. FRC is a mile away. You will be staying in the heart of downtown. read more

Ricardo and his staff are AMAZING! Very accommodating, friendly, down to earth and a lot of fun. We were in Quincy for an Equine event at the college for my son. Best place to stay in town, hands down! The room was spacious with a gas fireplace for heat, king sized bed, pull out sofa bed, kitchenette and very well maintained! Lovely wine bar downstairs with a terrific selection to choose from. Saturdays they have BBQ ribs and tri tip in the restaurant. Right in the middle of downtown Quincy. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Quincy! Well worth the money. read more

Traveled to Quincy last minute and was able to get a room. This is by far the best place to stay in town. Large clean spacious rooms. Downstairs is the wine bar where you can enjoy some music and drinks. Definitely first choice for me. read more

My husband and I were on our way to cut down a Christmas tree in the Plumas National Forrest up near Bucks Lake. The road was snowed in and the furthest we could get was Quincy. We tried various hotels to find accommodations but at 10:30pm a lot of the small town dwellers were not inclined to give us a room. We called this place and the woman was very helpful and understanding. She stayed on the phone with us and directed us to the location. Although she was not there, she got me to the door and waiting on the phone to make sure I got the key and was happy with the room. She took my credit card over the phone and was very nice. The room was a perfect bed and breakfast type, small but a cute kitchenette equip with plates, cups, silverware, a microwave, etc. The room had a nice 4 post bed with excellent quality sheets. There was a DVD player in the room with DVDs right there, free of charge, for us to watch. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area or stopping through. Not a bad price either, $129 a night and the location was excellent. The owner is who we spoke with, she was very accommodating and I know there are larger rooms as well We even found menus in the room and were able to find a great little place to eat the next morning (which I have also reviewed!). read more

Came up to Quincy for the FRC graduation May 20. We arrived early at 2pm but check in wasn't till 3pm. I called and Jim told us they would be there in a few and let us check in since we had to be at the school by 4pm. The check in is in the Drunk Brush wine bar. ( this by the way is awesome) Because I had some anxiety with our youngest daughter graduating, Liz gave me a glass of wine on the house. Now for the room, it was a studio suite. It was large spacious and comfy. I never sleep well away from home, but the bed was big and very comfy. We loved the gas fireplace. I slept like a baby!!! We came back to the wine bar about 9:15 and had a nice visit with Liz and a glass of wine and a beer for my husband. Thank you for making a emotional weekend so much happier. You treated us well and I can't thank you enough!!! read more

5 big starts for Quincy Courtyard Suites. Spacious room with well-stocked kitchenette. There really is a courtyard, just like our stay at quaint places in Italy. Rooms are upstairs and you look down on the courtyard with a wine bar and quick dine restaurant. We stayed on Friday night and they had a Bluegrass Duo from 6-9 pm. Excellent ambiance, not too loud, and finished up before this young whippersnapper was ready to his the sack. Slept like a baby and enjoyed organic coffee and instant oatmeal for breakfast. Wow!! This place is awesome . Barbara the owner and her staff where so helpful and accommodating. I am on a fire assignment with my engine covering the plumas national forest. So we never no if we are going or staying. Barbara was nice and patient when I kept cancelling and then asking for the rooms back. The rooms are so nice and big and charming. The Suite was beyond our expectations. Spent Christmas morning there and it felt more like a home than a hotel room- which is what we were looking for. The suite was warm and well stocked when we arrived and the key exchange was simple and accomodated our schedule. read more

My mom and I had planned a mini getaway to Plumas Co. to photograph the fall color. We had never been to Quincy (the entire area really) before so we were looking pretty blindly at places to stay. This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly and accomodating. THe rooms are HUGE and SPACIOUS and CLEAN and very well kept. Love the fact that two of my favorite things are literally underneath us - a wine bar and a mexican food restaurant. We will definitely be returning! read more

Wife and I spent 1 night here after she ran the Running with the Bears half-marathon. We arrived a little early but not a problem. Checked right in and shown to our room. Really nice suite with king bed (comfy) kitchenette, gas fireplace ceiling fan and remote AC unit. Wine bar and cafe downstairs were a plus. We plan on coming back for a longer stay to explore the area more. read more

I stayed here on a business trip, had someone from my home office make the reservations and spoke to Barbara, she was great. I could not make it there within check in time, called to inform her and she was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and welcoming. I would go back in a heart beat. It was my first time visiting Quincy and I thought it was a very quaint town, wonderful hospitality. Plus, they had DVD's free of charge for us to use during our stay, it was a nice idea. read more

Great place! Perfect for Joshuafest if you are not a camper... Really nice room, bathroom, lovely décor. Only complaint is the cute stores downstairs (bakery, wine bar, Knook) were not open often enough, we never got to enjoy the close amenities. Can walk to many restaurants. read more

Our third time here. Husband & I stayed 1/31/12 for 1 night. Arrived about 5pm which was communicated upon making the reservation weeks before. First time in the 2 bedroom suite. It is huge. Really! Temp was 52 degrees inside. Went back to the bar below & told gentleman who checked us in about the temp, could he show us how to turn the fireplace on & it would have been nice to have the room heated before arrival. He said there should be a remote (there wasn't) & he was only helping out at the bar for the out-of-town owners & was not familiar with everything. We figured it out. Entire place heated by gas fireplace located in livingroom with 1 portable space heater. We cranked up them up. By 10:30pm temp was 65. Fireplace heater went out in middle of night & we couldn't get it started again. Pros: Huge, great location, nice appointments for the most part but toilet size belongs in elementary school, king bed squeaked badly ,mattress needs replacing, granite tile missing on kitchen island edge, painting needs to be completed. This is a very nice place but owners need to monitor accommodations better. No one around after bar closes if you have an issue & no number to call either. read more
