I was then told I could receive the $89.99 rate if I signed up for a 12-month membership. I informed the business that I was not interested in a membership. They then offered a shorter 3-month membership for $109 per month. At that point, I canceled my appointment. The enormous gap between the advertised price and the price I was actually quoted created a deceptive and misleading customer experience. For a company built around wellness, relaxation, and self-care, the pricing experience felt surprisingly stressful. Customers should know what they're likely to pay before investing time in scheduling an appointment. Because I felt the pricing practices were misleading, I submitted a complaint to the FTC for review.

Before my massage yesterday, I had a long list of issues: chronic stiffness, pain from old injuries, muscle fatigue, two muscles that wouldn't stop twitching, lower back pain, and overall tension. It felt like a lot, but Aaron listened carefully to every concern and walked me through exactly how he planned to treat each one. I wasn't familiar with techniques like fire cupping and muscle scraping with a gua sha tool, but Aaron explained them clearly and patiently so I knew what to expect and how they would help. Then, the massage. Omigosh, the ~best~ full-body massage I've ever had. Aaron's pressure is amazing. It was not only deeply relaxing but also incredibly effective. He precisely addressed every area of tension I told him about (my list was so long I was sure he'd forget some but he didn't), even identifying connections like my tight quads contributing to discomfort in my lower back. He gave my quads and hips the best stretch I've ever experienced. I've had massage and stretching at other establishments and none of them did what Aaron did, wow! One thing I feel I should mention is the need for communication. Aaron's pressure is deep, if it's too much, make sure to say something. Additionally, if you notice a spot that needs attention during your massage, tell him. I didn't realize I had some sore spots in two additional places and he took time to work on those too. Aaron offers 70 min, 100 and 120 minute massages. Treat yourself to a 120 minute session if you have lots of issues. You will not regret it! By the end, I was so relaxed I wasn't sure I could drive home! Today I feel like a completely new person. The pain and tightness are gone from every one of my spots, I feel light and rejuvenated! I live a very active lifestyle which can be hard on my middle aged body, so I'm extremely grateful to have found Aaron and confident I've found someone who can help keep me pain-free, and doing all of the things I love. They poked me for an IV that they didn't end up using. That was a bit of an annoying. After a few hours they discharged me with a blank workers comp form which I discovered later after I returned to my job so I could speak to my boss and pick up my vehicle. I returned to the hospital regarding the blank form. They took the form then advised me the provider had already left for the day so it would be updated later in the patient portal. I thought ok fine. I left the hospital and returned home. I woke up in the evening the same day to discover the pharmacy closed so instead I went to the pharmacy in the afternoon the following day. The pharmacist advised me they had received only one of the two prescriptions I was ordered. When the pharmacy reached out the ER they were told that I was allegedly given a paper copy of the prescription therefore no digital order was sent. I say allegedly because I reviewed my discharge papers and everything given to me during my visit and found no prescription hard copy. To top it off the pharmacy advised me they no longer accept physical prescription copies. I then called the hospital to get it straightened out only to be passed around to different departments before finally speaking to the ER. They informed me the provider was in and that it would be sent to the pharmacy digitally. I thought great. I waited approximately 45 minutes before calling the pharmacy. The pharmacy then advised me they still had not received anything from this hospital. I'm very disappointed. It was my first visit to this brand of hospital and I gotta say after this experience I'm very disappointed. I've never had issues like this at any other hospital especially when it came to prescriptions. They really let me down by how disorganized they were and the way they handled my care. I'm currently looking for a pcp and have a new patient appointment scheduled soon with a provider through this network. I'm seriously reconsidering looking at other providers outside of UCHealth because they did not leave a great first impression with me.
