Visited today for a deep tissue massage with Ashly. Very welcomed from the minute i walked in to the minute i walked out feeling like a new person. Ashly worked over my soreness from a knee injury that i have been dealing with for weeks. Amazing how the body protects an injury by using other portions of your body. Ashly took incredible care and worked out the soreness in my legs and back from favoring my knee for weeks. I would defiantly recommend Massage Heights and Ashly for a massage. read more

I booked an appointment online based on a prominently displayed rate of $89.99. The fine print indicated this was a first-time guest rate. Since I had been a customer there previously, I expected to pay more, but I certainly wasn't expecting what came next. I received a text message informing me that my one-time massage would cost $180. I was then told I could receive the $89.99 rate if I signed up for a 12-month membership. I informed the business that I was not interested in a membership. They then offered a shorter 3-month membership for $109 per month. At that point, I canceled my appointment. The enormous gap between the advertised price and the price I was actually quoted created a deceptive and misleading customer experience. For a company built around wellness, relaxation, and self-care, the pricing experience felt surprisingly stressful. Customers should know what they're likely to pay before investing time in scheduling an appointment. Because I felt the pricing practices were misleading, I submitted a complaint to the FTC for review. read more

This plates is a mess. If you schedule a 60 minute massage you're lucky to get 45 minutes of massage by the time they bring you back they and get set up. Also if you miss a massage they charge 45 dollars instead of deducting a credit from your account that you already paid 80 dollars for. Was paying monthly for treatments. Unfortunately, appointments within several weeks was impossible so I accumulated a lot of credits. Credit card was hacked so my payments stopped. As a result I could not book appointments using my existing credits. Eventually went in to discuss renewing and getting some of credits reinstated. Unfortunately they had expired (only good for a year) and when I asked for some grace only got a snarky "sorry". I understand policies but being a longtime loyal customers should account for something. read more

First time customer. Really underwhelmed after several folks told me good things. Booked a same day massage for an hour, plus the hot stone and scalp massage upgrades. To start, the $64 extra dollars for LITERALLY 2 minutes of stones and 3 minutes of a "scalp" massage were ridiculous. Neither was worth it, even if provided for free. My massage with the available masseuse was awful. Barely any pressure when I booked a "deep tissue" treatment. I pointed out/noted on the Intake form I was having soreness and needed attention paid to my left hip. Told the masseuse in our room. He never once touched the area or addressed it at all. Also, paid for an hour and the massage lasted 46 minutes. He hit my shoulders (another noted problem area) for a grand total of 5 minutes. Lastly, a personal preference here, but I don't need to be talked too the entire time. I noted I was there for stress relief and relaxation and I was peppered with non treatment related questions the entire time. I just wanted a semblance of relief and this spot couldn't deliver, performance wise. That all being said, the staff was incredibly nice the place was clean, and they were able to accommodate a same day reservation. Booked a massage for today but accidentally left my purse at home. I needed to update my card in file due to credit card fraud. Even though I had two massages paid for and 4 credits, I was not allowed to have my massage today. I'd already paid them for the massage I booked, I just didn't have a card on file. So I paid for a service, but they wouldn't let me actually use it. She had the audacity to tell me it was my lucky day and she wouldn't charge me a cancellation fee... as I was standing in the lobby, on time for a pre-paid massage. I'm canceling my membership after several years. (Oh, but they won't give me my money back or let me use those last two massages by the way.) read more

Prices were ridiculous . They advertise $79 per person. And I understand that is an introductory price, but when we finished our mediocre massage, we were charged $159 per person! Beware signing anything here. I made it very clear that I just wanted a couple massages to fill-in when I couldn't go to my usual place. And I was convinced by someone that it would be better financially to sign their special deal To get cheaper massages initially. No one mentioned anything that I would be locked in for a year contract. When I wasn't happy with the massages, I called to cancel. And I thought I was successful canceling over the phone because I was told "my account was successful successfully canceled". Couple months later I started getting text messages saying I still had credit on my account, so I decided to call and check what it was. Apparently my account was not canceled. I was locked into a 12 month contract that there was apparently no way to get out of. So complete waste of money. And subpar massages. Extremely disappointed. They will scam you here. But, apparently it is my own fault for not fully reading all of the fine print on a contract, because who the F*** thinks they need to do that at a massage place? read more

After being a member for over a year and booking 90 minute massages every other week, I had to cancel as I could no longer afford it. I am a 70 year old woman living on 13000 a year. I filled out the cancellation form in person and asked them to cancel all future appointments. No one said a word about giving 30 days notice and they all knew I was struggling financially. Now I've got an additional 70 charge for a massage I can't afford and do you think they will refund my money? What a RIP OFF So they posted a response to call the "Retreat Director" so they could resolve the issue. When I called, the same jerk told me that it was already resolved when I called and he told me I had to cancel with 30 days notice and he was keeping the 70 bucks I was charged AFTER I cancelled. Guess the 70 is more important than getting me back as a customer who spent $ 210 a month for over a year BAD BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. MAJOR RIP OFF read more

DON'T PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP, IT IS THEIR WAY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!!! I have been going to Massage Heights for years with a membership. I typically work with Kevin for my massages and he is amazing. However, the administration and front desk need to learn some rules on the hospitality industry and appropriate conversations to have at a front desk. But I go for a massage so I try to ignore that. Every time I get Kevin as my massage therapist, things are great. Last year at Thanksgiving, I was dealt a devastating blow when a family member got a life changing diagnosis. I was unable to go get massages and in the process earned over 20 hours of massages. Because of the current circumstance, I will need to move out of state, where I have had to go making it impossible to attend massages. There are no Massage Heights in the state that I am moving to. I got a call from the head of memberships and she said the "best" that she can do, is give me 3 months to use my hours. I am not sure what part of, I am moving out of state without Massage Heights did she not understand. How can I use 20 hours of massages in 3 months without access to Massage Heights. No offer of reimbursement was offered even after I asked. So, they basically hit you again when you're already down. Then charge you another month's membership fee before they cancel.Trying to get in touch with corporate is impossible. So, one person with no telling how much experience in the hospitality industry has, can basically say, sucks to be you. You would think as large of a corporation as Massage Heights, they would be able to help. But administration at the Northern Region does not care. AGAIN, CAUTION WITH ANY MEMBERSHIP!!! read more

Massage Heights is a great place to get a massage. The front desk is very efficient and knowledgeable when it comes to assisting with scheduling a massage with the right person. The place has a welcoming feeling, clean rooms and a nice waiting area. My husband and I did a couples massage and had Ethan and Gabe as our therapists. Original Review:Requested account to be suspended for 6 months due to a unplanned surgerical procedure. I have been waiting since 12/15 for someone from corporate acccounting or someone to send me the email so I can provide medical note.... I thought that maybe they suspended it and needed no further action since no one reached out. However, I had called again on 2/8/2024 after noticing that we was charged for Jan visit after we canceled all appts through recovery period. I spoke to I think it was Tara, she advised Kaylyn(?) would call me when she gets in at 4PM and/or send me the email which I can upload Dr note.... (mind you it's a couples massages so 2x charges). I am already going through a lot with recovery and can't seem to get anyone to help me suspend the account or call me back or send me an email... but they can sure charge my CC each month. Very disappointed in management of this location, love the massage therspists we have, but frustrated no one can contact me. Received a gift card to go here, friendly staff, the massage and facial I received were both great and the staff made sure I got what I wanted. There was some confusion with my booking as I guess they had pverbooked someone so had asked if I could move my appointments to a different time which no biggie but when they reentered them they didn't add on the specifics I had asked for when booking the appointment so that was a bit confusing. They did explain there are 2 types of rates, your first time its cheaper and if you ever return for a 2nd it will be more expensive unless you buy a membership for $99/year and then your massages will be roughly $1/minute and you get one every month at that discount rate. Very disappointed. When I showed up to my appointment, they were over booked and didn't have enough rooms for everyone. My massage therapist wasn't advised that I was there for a prenatal appointment so she was having to check with the receptionist and set up the room while I stood and waited. Then after all of that, she came back only to say I need to be 16 weeks for my first prenatal massage. Which is completely understandable, but I called the front desk THREE TIMES prior to the appointment and confirmed that I could get a massage after 14 weeks. When leaving, I was clearly upset, and I wasn't asked if I wanted to reschedule or given an apology. She just told me I wouldn't be charged... this location obviously isn't very organized or well managed. read more

I go to Massage Heights to relax and relieve pressure and stress. In the 2020 times it's hard to go anywhere. The reception staff makes the process so easy and helps to get the relaxation process underway. On my last visit I had Erica as a therapist and it was the most amazing experience I've had with a masseuse. I have been getting a massage since 1997 and I felt better after this session than I ever have. A little sore the next day but oh so worth it! Thank you to all the receptionist and to Erica. So, where do I start with this place. When I first came in I thought it wasn't going to be that great. Corporate places like this usually just push people thru, but I have never felt like that at this Massage Heights. I'm always greeted with smiling faces and everyone is eager to help. The ladies behind the desk are sweet and efficient in booking over the phone or in person. The decor is pleasant in the lobby and not over stimulating. Rooms are simple, cozy, and dark. The tables are accommodating for larger breast. They use Comphy Sheets and if you haven't ever had the pleasure of using them you're in for a treat. The music they play is alright sometimes it really relaxes me and other times I find myself trying to figure out the song that's playing. I see Shellie or AKA magical hands. I have seen her now over a handful of times and I just love her cupping machine. It's an entire new experience and gets the job done well without the ache afterwards. I find it more efficient then just hands and really works the muscles. She also cups my feet which is great for my arches as I'm up on my feet 10-12 hours a day. Shellie is sweet, kind and professional. She even takes the time to really get to know you and your needs. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her. I also recommend Will if you're looking for a man therapist. Thank you Massage Heights I'm glad I stumbled onto you and Mrs. Shellie! She is surely a keeper and one of my favorites. read more

We have been to this Loveland location 4 times for a couples massage and I have always paid $69.99 per person. We went over the weened and they charged me the $140 per usual and I left the tip and we left. They called me after we left and said their computer glitched and I wasn't charged so I gave them my card over the phone and they ran it again and everything was good. Checked my bank account and they charged me $140 twice. When I called the manager she said the massage was $140 a person which is OBSURD! The most over priced massage we have ever gotten. They said the $69.99 per person was just introductory pricing for your first two massages but we have been there 4x and this has never happened. I also feel the staff should know better and should tell the customer that they are no longer on introductory pricing and will be charged $140 for an hour massage. Shame on them. We called and left a message for the manager and didn't hear back until the next day and she was helpless, said she would listen the the voice recording because apparently she can't take my word for the salons awful service. Overpriced and then lied saying my card didn't go through when it in fact did they just forgot to charge me an additional $140. We will never return to massage heights again. read more

WATCH OUT FOR THE SLEAZY MEMBERSHIP ADD ON!! THEY WONT STOP CHARGING MY ACCOUNT. I did not authorize this membership! I am disputing this charge. I had one massage in April, before my foot surgery. I am in a cast and can not walk properly. I'm 2017 a tumor was removed from my brain stem and I have 3 screws in my neck. Recently I was found to have brain cancer... I am in the midst of MRIS and now disabled... Simply put.. I paid $36 at the time of service. A friendly 18 yr old girl told me I should ****consider*** a 3 month membership for $40. I have been charged 139.98 since and I am told I am in a binding YEAR long club?? I have called the office 3 times asking for the manager and pleading for them to remove me! And here it is again, ANOTHER CHARGE. I am having brain surgery for Christ sake what kind of service is this! Also, I should not have to release one single medical record to be released from this automatic withdrawal! I never consented to this charge. Please NEVER forget this review. read more

I have been going here for a year and have enjoyed it up until today. My normal MT had hurt her wrist so I had a fill in for my appointment. While her massage was average, I was incredibly disappointed that she was wearing some kind of latex/rubber gloves during my entire massage, and I am assuming because of COVID. I was NEVER informed that my MT would be wearing these (why don't you have to give consent to rub latex all over me? It's gross.) I've also never had a single MT that's worn them and I've seen a couple of them over the past year at this location. Since you are requiring COVID consent forms, I should absolutely be informed if a therapist is wearing gloves. They were a huge distraction and completely ruined the massage for me. Mixed bag of therapists; some are good, some are bad...but the reason for the low review is the bait and switch on the membership plan. I finally found a good therapist and was then told there is a $12 fee above and beyond my monthly membership for each session. They of course would be happy to book me with other therapists (AKA the bad beginners). I requested a refund of my unused credits due to this change in contractual agreement, and they told me absolutely not...Oh, and the manager wouldn't provide her full name or provide the name of the franchise owner (although it's a pretty easy thing to find online). My husband and I have enjoyed our massages but this company's business practice is poor. My husband signed up and we have been paying $50 a month for several months without him every going in. He finally made time to go in for an hour massage and requested that since we've been paying and he hasn't been in, could his wife could get a massage. They said no. We don't necessarily need free massages, but the fact that we have been paying $50 every month without service, one would think they would value their patrons and make an exception. This was my first time at at this location. Called this morning to make an appointment and I spoke with Mary which after my appointment I was informed that she was a manager. I Initially wanted a 90 minute massage but that wasn't available and she had stated if someone cancels then they will move me to a 90 massage which I totally understand. When I walked in the door some massage therapist was yelling at one of the ladies at the front desk stating that she was late for her shift. I thought that was very unprofessional he could have taken her back to the office and talk to her privately instead of in the lobby where everybody could hear. After my massage with Ethan I want to pay for my session. On the phone I was told it was going to be the introduction rate because I have not been in a very long time. The lady on the phone said that I could add on elevation for no charge. I believe she was the manager at the time was indirectly accused me of lying that the manager wouldn't ever say that elevation would be complementary. Instead of just doing a one time courtesy she went to the back and called her. List to say I had to pay for the elevation when they should have just taken it off. I had stated that I wouldn't have gotten it knowing it was going to be more. Needless to say she was very unprofessional with they way she went about this. Plan on getting in late to your appointment. My husband and I have been clients of theirs for about two years. I'm a pretty patient person., But it seems like every time we get in more than 10 minutes plus late to our appointment. We arrive early to every appointment so we have more than than enough time. 10 minutes or 15 minutes before., But we still are getting in late it's so frustrating! I have talked to them multiple times about it but instead of making it right they turn it around to make it my fault. I am a very patient person but I'm at my limits and of course we are stuck in a contract so we are being forced to pay that amount every month. I do not recommend this place. Our contract was up for renewal in June which in turn was my fault I wasn't paying attention and I did not cancel. But in the year past they will call us to see how they were doing or what our thoughts were on the massage but their must be new management. Who knows , we are very disappointing.
