I came in yesterday for a women's haircut and I had a stylist named Shelby. She butchered my hair. I came in wanting to even out the back, have shorter hair but make it a cute shag mullet typa deal. She used a clipper to line up my back and she took it so far up my neck i look like a boy. I've been crying for last 24 hours straight and there is no fixing my hair. You get what you pay for! I've been a long time patron of Ten Salon back when they were Aveda The place has really gone downhill, no managers onsite. My daughter got her hair butchered by a new talent stylist named Leslie. Cut her hair wet, including face framing layers so obviously when she dried it the layers were awful & choppy. Typically it takes at least an hour for a new stylist cut if not longer, but my daughter was in/out in 35-40 min. In addition a more experienced stylist would inspect & give feedback- that didn't happen My daughter gave feedback about the experience to the checkout girl but there was no manager onsite to discuss further. I ended up calling later in the day to speak to a manager & was told she'd be in on 12/26 & to expect a call. The front desk person also said they've had problems with Leslie & she had already been talked to. Not much solace for my daughter, at least the bright side is her hair will grow back. I called the salon today, 12/27 and was told the manager Mack was on vacation so not sure why the previous person promised me a callback on 12/26 I asked if there was at least an asst mgr on today & was told no. I reschedule and when I get there, I'm told their tech is going to be a little late. 17 minutes later, still no one. I left. I am soooo thrilled that I found this salon. I stumbled upon Lyndsay and she is the greatest thing to ever happen to my hair. Usually when I cut it shorter I regret it as it doesn't lay right after a few weeks and I wish for it to be longer again. Not this time.. I went in for a cut and loved it so much that I came in for color a week later. I have had nothing but compliments since I got it done and I am so happy. I am on the road for work and present in front of large groups so it is important for me to feel confident and I swear my confidence has risen since coming here. I commute from Highlands Ranch now because she is worth it. I love the way she treats the other gals in the salon as well it really speaks to the culture of Ten Salon and Spa. She is always showing the stylists that are not as tenured what she is doing and explaining her process. She takes time and I can tell she is passionate about what she does. My hair has even grown out nicely and I am excited for my next appointment to have her cut it again. It is also a beautiful salon and spa where you can get every done in a one-stop-shop. Been going to this salon for over a year - about every 2 weeks to have nails done, which I'm very happy with. But just got fed up with the place. Nail tech has canceled my appointment multi times (3-4) in the year. This throws all the following made appt off and have to reschedule all of those - hoping to get in when I need. And now she is only going to be working 3 days - the worst possible days for me, The other tech they have can't do the Builder nails. . . I absolutely love Ten Salon. They are a beautiful salon with many great stylists and technicians! They never fail to accommodate my schedule and never turn me away. I have had my hair done by 3 different stylists so far and feel that Marissa is the best stylist for me! I have natural curly hair and she really knows how to care for my hair and get me the style I like without compromising on my hair care. I really love how friendly this salon is and how flexible they are with my busy schedule. The pricing is pretty moderate too. They have their own parking next to the salon and they have great hours. I also really love my eyebrow tech. So apart from hairstyling, I absolutely love my eyebrows getting done here as well. The products they use here are amazing and high end without breaking the bank. I have been going to Ten salon for the past year and a half. My stylist is Trisha and she has given me the best experience every single time and the most beautiful hair cut color and finished product. Within the last few months I've been using their product that Trisha recommended, and I cannot believe how many people have stopped me at church, work, date nights at top, golf, and while I'm shopping just to tell me and ask me what I do to my hair. Just recently, a coworker had asked me what product I use because he wanted to buy it for his wife and when I mention Ten Salon, he said that is the only place his wife will go to get massages. His wife had said she had visited over 15 different facilities. In Northern Colorado, and Ten salon is always her top choice . On October 10 last year I fell when entering the salon because a piece of carpet was not placed properly and I tripped over it. Because I am disabled I had to be helped getting up by my husband and an employee. I went to the ER because of pain and bruising on my face and upper body. An incident report was written In February I received a bill from the hospital for my copay for $120.00. I called the salon twice and went there to inquire how they would pay me. I was told HR would call me back but they never got back to me. Still waiting, worst customer service. I am still trying to collect my copay. Guess will never go there again. I have been going to this salon for 18 years-the quality in service has declined in the last 5 years. My stylist has left due to the inefficient ownership. Even the gal who did my waxing has left. The front desk is a train wreck-they never pick up the phone and when they do they act like it is a huge deal to schedule you. Front desk also screws up appointments-I've had appointments that when I show up they have "magically" been rescheduled without my knowledge. After 18 years - I will follow my stylist to her new landing spot and while it was a bit tough finding a person to do my waxing-I think I have found a great one in Fort Collins. I have trust issues when it comes to having a hair stylist. I'm very particular about how I want my hair. When I started coming to TEN, I saw a couple of stylists who weren't the right fit. They were good stylists; but just not what I wanted. I'm happy to say I found my stylist and for 13 years have been faithful to Cedar. Cedar is an absolutely incredible stylist and has become a friend. Sometimes she knows me better than I know myself. She knows what I like and what suits me. She has tried to talk me out of some decisions (bangs ) and when I don't listen I always regret it. I trust her 100% and that's not an easy thing for me when it comes to my hair. Cedar is always up to date on what's trendy. It I see something I like, she's on top of it. If she doesn't know the best plan for what I want, she isn't afraid to consult with another stylist. The staff at TEN is great. I have to also give a shout out to aesthetician Tish. She's amazing at what she does and keeps me laughing. read more

Beyond disappointing!! I have been going to this salon for 1-2 years. At first I was reluctant, however, the stylist I met was the only reason I considered it and I gave it a try. Don't be gaslighted. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 weeks out at the beginning of Dec 2023. The day that I had a routine mammogram at 7 am. I knew I would have plenty of time. Once I arrived at the testing for my mammogram, I was immediately taken to the Dr, had two diagnostic mam, then two ultra sounds and later a biopsy. I called the salon immediately, NO answer, so, I left a message ( it's my private situation but was honest and shared what I was having to take on immediately and not to mention emotionally hard too. I called the Salon 4 times. LM's and requested many calls back. I'm on the 6 time calling since Wednesday. I received a call from a woman stating "I am the GM!" No name. I called back again and not one answered. And no return call. This is such an unprofessional salon. This salon, does not answer phone calls, they do not listen to their voice mails. No communication with the stylists.,this place lacks. Communication, over charge for oils and miscellaneous products they do not use. It's also very unfortunate that the spa part does not fulfill the facial and products they use. I'm so disappointed with Ten Salon and I do not recommend them as I have been treated so poorly and now they do not care, no empathy, no communication, prices constantly change and the front desk and who claims to be the GM is just incredibly RUDE and does not care., The GM stated; I will not be allowed to make an appointment until I provide them with a Credit Card! The woman was rude and this type of business lacks so much and horrible customer service and communication. How dare that I was accused of NO SHOW when I was in an emergency situation and I called many times and have proof. This salon doesn't deserve a star. Negative on the stars. I wanted to have a satisfying experience. I drove an hour to get to the Aveda Ten Salon. I had an appointment with a senior salon stylist. I have short, chin-length thick and naturally wavy hair. I needed a cut with layers. Liz would not cut my hair. She stated that she could trim it, but was uncomfortable with cutting it in layers or going any shorter. I left without a cut. I have been going to TEN Salon for years (over 11), when they switched from Aveda I was reluctant but have found for me the Kerastase hair products including color work much better on my hair. Recently I have been going to Misty. Typically I go to there entry level hair stylist and when they move up I move to some one new. Mainly due to money however Misty moved up and I am choosing to stay with her. She is very good and always checking to ensure I am happy. If I do have a question or concern she has suggestions and she will check with others for input as well. I also really appreciate the foot soaks and paraffin for the hands, it isn't just a hair cut it is like a spa. I feel very pampered, but Misty is extra kind and always thoughtful. She makes sure I am taken care of and comfortable. Before I leave we always have a plan for the next appointment. I am very thankful that I found this Salon and stuck with it. read more

There are many stylists so you will be able to try different people and find your dream stylist or two. Mine are Katherine and sometimes Erin. Katherine is lovely. She is fun to chat with and is fantastic with color, cuts and blow outs that last. The salon uses upscale products. It's possible to get Med Spa services, hair services and nails. Very impressive layout. Offered beer, wine, soda, or water upon arrival for my appointment. Was not impressed with my haircut. I did have a beard trim that I was fond of. The environment was very mediocre. After being walked back to the Barber Shop portion of the salon, the receptionist that walked me back told me that my barber would be right with me. There was no waiting area where she led me to, and she left me awkwardly standing in front of the barber who looked at me, and then proceeded to do something on his phone for a good two to three minutes. While getting my haircut and beard trim, the barber had inappropriate music on. Very obscene, racist, and sexist lyrics. Not something that should have been played in a professional setting. Beard Trim - it is what made this place not get only a one star review. My haircut, I asked for a high fade to white walls (skin, whatever you want to call it). This is a favorite style of mine and I have asked for it at many "lower end," chain haircut stores and they have been able to pull it off. At this salon, I did not see even a slight fade. He literally buzzed my head and charged me for a full haircut. I do not recommend this place for the barbershop portion. I do want to mention that the barbershop has a decent referral program set up. Refer a friend via a referral card that Ten has and they get $20 off a service and you get a $25 credit applied to your account. read more

I have always been a S.Clips guy, several months ago they were busy, so I found Ten Salon on the internet. I was happy with the cut I received and haven't stepped back into a S.Clips store since. I have now been to the Salon side a few times, I was always happy with them. Then one day, they couldn't get me into the Salon for a spot, but said I could get my cut at the grooming lounge instead. I gave it a try. I didn't know there was such a difference in haircuts. Even though the Salon side did a great job, they can't hold a candle to Marco. His attention to detail during the entire appointment was unreal. Yesterday I just received my second cut from Marco, and it was just as good as the first time. PERFECTION AND CONSISTENCY! Lacey gave me the BEST pedicure I have ever had! Incredible attention to detail and she spent extra time to make sure my toes looked great. I have had other places even decline to cut my toenails (?), but Lacey really cares that you are happy and that your nails are healthy. Great products, I would recommend their Dazzle Dry.
