MFR is not a massage, it's gentle pressure on various places on the body to release the blocked facia. This is the method taught by Dr. Barnes, which only a very few people know about, and Adrienne is one of them. If magic were real, I'd say it's magic, but since it isn't, all I can say is that nobody I've ever met, including the owner of the massage clinic called "Myo" at the Triangle in Austin doesn't even know the Dr. Barnes method. My orthopedic surgeon's exact words were "get yourself a good pain management doctor since there's nothing I can do for you". This was at a time when I couldn't stand for more than 15 minutes without being in extreme pain, and couldn't sit for more than 20 minutes without being in extreme, crippling pain. After the first two sessions Adrienne had me up and moving and now I'm not confined to the bed anymore and can actually sit in an office chair and work!
