A true therapeutic & relaxing massage. Walk-ins welcome. The place is very clean and worth the price.

HOLY MOLY! I've been here about 5-10 times and every time is amazing but my 60 min Thai light with Clara tonight blew my mind. I feel like every massage I've had in my life up until this point(and I've had over 50) has been a scam. It genuinely felt like a pressure wash for all my stress and knots. Every stroke was a rhythmic dance, not a second of wasted movement or mumbo jumbo. Legit I feel like she was preforming at the world championships of massages. If I had a demons in my body, I assure you they have left the building. I should apologize for the sounds I was making to be honest. I'm not sure if I was in severe pain, immense pleasure or somewhere in that special place in between. I was muttering to myself "oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." There is a time and place for overpriced, white robe, hot tea massages and this ain't it. If you want to experience the best god damn massage of your life do not sleep on Best Thai Spa. Also warning, this is not for a first time massage it is intense.

The massages leave me feeling completely healed and relaxed with their expert handiwork. I love the gentle stretching involved as well. The best massage in Santa Cruz without a doubt! We paid about $400, I'm estimating here, for 2 people to experience an hour massage and time in their hot tub room. We never felt rushed, even though we came on labor day weekend, so that was really nice. I agree with a lot of the reviews that say the hot tub has some wear and tear, it does, but we were still very comfortable and happy. I loved looked into the gardens and appreciated that there weren't mosquitos in our room. I did fear that as someone who attracts them like flies to honey. I'm happy to report no bites reported! We both enjoyed our massages. I don't know if this matters to you, but all massages are in single rooms. I had a wonderful massage and was so bummed when it was over!! We both had great massages. We will be back when we're in town. Parking was really easy. There's a lot right next door and street parking too.

The tub was worn down so you can see the stains, however, it was clean. It may be off putting for some ppl, just fyi. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view. The sauna was also a nice touch. Wish there was a cold plunge, but we used the shower instead for a cold rinse. I have an anxious mind and it's very hard for me to relax, I didn't achieve it here, but was able to calm my nerves just a bit. My bf loved it and was fully able to zen out and enjoyed the sauna. The teas were nice pairing. Afterwards we had our massages. The masseuses looked like students, but overall they did a nice job, not the best, but it was calming. Unsure if they are certified. We have had various massages & I have my go to. These ones were just okay. My masseuse was kind and made sure the pressure was okay for me. I didn't get a hot towel afterwards to wipe the oil/lotion off so I was left sticky when we went out for dinner in DT SC. I think because of social media I was itching to try this place. A bit on the pricier side for the quality, however, more affordable compared to other Bay Area places. Staff were nice, street parking. Pay to park.

The facility was clean and comfortable, and our massage therapists were friendly, fun, and made us feel relaxed right away. The massages were excellent and such a great value. My husband even got to experience the Thai-style walking-on-your-back technique, which put a huge smile on his face! We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and very pleased with the whole experience. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming place for a really good massage at a reasonable price in Santa Cruz, Sa Teresa Spa is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

Most of the time she used no pressure and just grazed her hands over me, i dont actually know how someone could give a massage that felt so bad no only was it extremely light pressure somehow it was painful. She would be tugging and knocking and all sorts of things to compensate for the no pressure. It also felt like her hands were just going over my body no finger work or skill al. Also both me and my friend felt like the next day we felt worse than before our massage, back/neck pain wise like they used very improper technique The worst part: what completely took me out of spa mode. I tipped 20% and they demanded i tip more, it was very awkward and uncomfortable and i felt pressured to tip more even though we hated our massage.

It smelled so good when I walked in and the gals at the front desk were very nice. When I filled out my new client form I got to sit in the cute waiting room. Afterwards I was able to pick out the different combinations of scents to go into my lotion. I chose to have Lisa do my massage. I got the 80 minute 5 senses massage. Lisa had great reviews, so I felt like I would be in good hands. She made sure my bed was nice and warm when I first laid down. She was very thorough asking about the sort of pressure I needed and any additional special requests. I have really bad knees, so she worked around them and her pressure was just perfect with all of the areas she massaged. I loved getting my hands and feet wrapped and the heated neck rest was really a nice touch. I walked out of there feeling like I was on a cloud. Lisa is the best! I'll definitely be back.

I tried this spa after checking at least three or four Asian foot spa type places in the…read moresurrounding area and this is the only one that got really good reviews mostly five stars. Here was my experience from beginning to end. I called to make an appointment and the lady that answered the phone acted like she knew me already very upbeat and bubbly like she was my friend! I then made the appointment and was able to get in within an hour. When I entered, I was greeted and able to tell the person I was talking to exactly what I wanted. She directed me to a room and the person massaging me began the massage face down with my body covered, and she began doing compression, which is light pushing on my back arms, glute area, legs, feet and neck. She then rolled back my sheet all the way down to where my butt cheeks end. Just so you know this is the Asian massage way. It's not weird at all. If you are weird about these things, you should not get a massage at these places. It's just a body. These places get a bad rep because of the things that go on at other places. Anyway... She then used oil and massaged my body (neck, arms, shoulders, back and lower back, glutes, legs for about a half hour, then she turned me over and massaged my feet and my legs. She used hot stones on the same areas briefly, then she used a very warm towel to wipe off the oil on my body, which I appreciated. She gave me a very nice scalp massage as well. For $60 this is amazing and I gave her a $20 tip because it was worth it! If you go and get a regular massage at a regular spot, it cost about $130-$160.00 at the very least. The only constructive criticism I have would be that the room itself had nice relaxing spa music in it, but the general area in the front had some pounding music going, which competed with the spa music and made it really difficult to fully relax or fall asleep. If it wasn't for this, it would've been absolutely perfect and so I'm writing this to allow the establishment to understand that when you are in a Zen state, it's important to keep things consistent. Maybe have the music the same on the outside as the inside of the rooms, and when you have no patron, that's when you can play your thumping music That would be the only thing that I would love to see improved upon. When I was done with my massage, the lady that had answered the phone to begin with checked me out and was very very kind and caring. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back at least once a month if not more.

The reason for 3 stars is that I paid for a combo massage and she didn't massage my feet at all. Completely skipped them. That's my favorite part of massages. Most likely won't be back . Update.....To the owner who commented on my review. I was never asked which massage I wanted. I just asked for 90 min massage. In the future I would suggest letting the customers know what the options are for different massages. Most people want foot massage.
