I had a massage, my husband and my daughter had a facial. My massage was excellent. My husband's was worse then going to a student at a massage school. He didn't even get his full hour he paid for. Since my daughter is a minor I had to sit in on it. There was a whole lot of her not doing anything but basically play around. Very disappointing. Excellent service at front desk. read more

Don't work here. Horrible management and if the Clinic manager doesn't like you in anyway she will make it a horrible working experience and basically push you to quit. actually It's just the CLINIC manager that is the problem at this place. Hopefully corporate does something about it soon, not a good look for business. Everybody else there is actually a great person. Niecy and Lizzie (spelling) were our masseuses and they were amazing. We went for a couple's massage and were able to relax and enjoy our package in a nice, quiet and tranquil environment! We thoroughly enjoyed our massage envy experience and will be back. They offer military discounts along with family/friend discount when purchasing their monthly package. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When we asked questions they were reassuring in any aspect of our visit. I came to town to take care of my injured Marine, and upon arriving, I ended up with a horrible crick in my neck from our 11 hour drive. I was skeptical about this business because of some of their reviews, but I had a great experience! From the time I walked in the door everyone was attentive and helpful. So I have been a loyal member to Massage Envy for years now. What started off as a need for a maassage to get muscle soreness and stress out(I recommend Wesley, hot stone massage!!) , ended with me trying my first facial with one of their esthetician. Her husband then got orders for the military at to move elsewhere and i was informed I would be getting someone knew to take care of any of mmh skin care needs. Needless to say, I was less than enthused. However, I ended up loving this new and more knowledgeable esthetician more named Danielle. She is absolutely amazing and clearly an expert in her craft. She has always been friendly and helpful withh all mud skin care needs. Always recommending ways to improve my skin with the available products and at home health tips along the way. I cannot reccomend this place enough, as always be selectful with who you trust your muscles with and let them know what is too much pressure or pain during your massage, but look into this place. They've honestly always been helpful and understanding when I was running late or was even late on a payment. Thanks Danielle! read more

For the most part, this location has an excellent roster of staff who know how to provide a good massage. Usually, I will choose one person and stick with him/her for the duration. But with my erratic schedule I have been forced to rotate, and it's actually been a wonderful experience. I have gone through some seriously stressful situations this past year, and I can say with confidence, that the massages have done wonders to ease my tensed up muscles and provide tremendous relief to critical areas like the back, neck and shoulders. The loss of an added star is due to the facial I decided to splurge on. The biggest problem with these types of services is that it becomes a platform to push products. Ugh! I purchased two skin care items that of course, came highly recommended by the technician. Unfortunately the most expensive one that she guaranteed would give me the best results did absolutely nothing for me. Live and learn. But I will definitely be mentioning this the next time I see this particular specialist. And I will stick with the products that have been proven to be successful for my personal skin care routine. read more

Just made my first visit to the new Massage Envy next door to JC Penney store. It was awesome. I chose to become a member so I will be visiting them monthly. I had used the one in Bluffton and was pleased but this is so much better being right here in town. Now I am totally relaxed and I can be home in a few minutes rather than drive for an hour depending on traffic. I highly recommend this new addition to the shopping center read more

I bought a gift certificate for my husband and I in October 2016. I wanted us to have a message together, but that didn't work out. On December 28th, I decided that I would get my message! Wow!!! I walked in at the right moment because a therapist was available!!!! He was friendly and knowledgeable concerning being a Massage Therapist. This was my first time having a full body massage and I am so pleased!!!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTACT WITH THIS COMPANY. I only did because my massage therapist of many years decided to work here. I sat down with a member of management before signing to address my concerns. I was told that if my therapist were to leave that I could cancel my contract. When my therapist was injured, I tried to cancel, but because it was within the ten day window of when my card was to be charged, they still charged me for $59.99. I cannot comment on how good their massages are as they cancelled my appointment with no notice. They left a message on my phone 10 minutes before I was supposed to be there that they cancelled my appointment. I did not get the message and showed up to the appointment on time. They told me no one else was available and they would have to reschedule for another day. No apology or anything. I had to get a babysitter and I work so I had to carefully plan this appointment. I will take my business elsewhere. So incredibly unprofessional and worst of all I am still in pain! read more

So, sorry to say that this location is very inconsistent. Perhaps the high cost of living makes it difficult for them to attract and keep good therapists because the good ones don't stay long and the mediocre ones get bored after a massage or two and don't seem to care after awhile. Frequently, they cancel with only a couple of hours notice, causing a stack up of hours to use up. My other complaint is with corporate. They only give 60 days to use up massages when you quit. In our case, they ignored the notice and charged us for two more months and then used that date as the termination date, leaving my husband only two weeks to use up two hours he never wanted!! Outrageous! We contacted our credit card about the abuse, but since it is a contracted service, their hands were tired. Massage Envy, no doubt, realizes this and feels it can afford to run roughshod over customers despite losing a class act settlement a few years back. Apparently, they don't mind going to court and aren't counting on word of mouth to keep their business going anyway. A shame, really. We enjoyed it for a time at a different location when the rates were lower, but it really isn't worth it anymore. We're done! read more
