We had a lot of tension that needed worked out and were sore the next day but it was much needed - especially with all the walking we had been doing and continued to do. Pedicures were great too! However, I didn't realize just how great until now because... I went to Tybee Island on the beach all day, walked and walked and walked. Back in Ohio I am in and out of sandals, heels for work, barefoot working in the yard. We went on our annual canoe trip in rocky river water and water shoes, etc. You get the idea. My Sweet Water pedicure lasted a whole month and still wasn't chipping. SO impressed. Ohio pedicure's last me 3 weeks if I'm super careful. So if you're questioning a pedicure, do it. In general, the paint job wasn't great, almost see through when I requested opaque. The prices are simply too high for a manicure that doesn't last a day. Now, to the customer service, the conversation was great! The staff was very friendly, the warm neck pillow and blanket were pleasant surprises during my pedicure. I was given a bottle upon arrival and great arm and leg messages as part of the manicure and pedicure. The massage was not the best I've ever had, but no complaints, and again great service that made me feel comfortable and cared for. Ultimately, if you're looking for a relaxing experience with friendly folks this place is a winner, if you need a manicure that looks good and lasts you may need to look elsewhere.

I've been to Beaufort Day Spa on several occasions for massages and a couple of other treatments. From the moment that I am greeted and shown to the changing room for a fluffy robe until the moment after the massage when I find my massage therapist waiting outside the door with a glass of water, I feel pampered. I've seen four of the massage therapists, and I've found all of them to be professional, caring people concerned about addressing the issues I have and not to give me the run-of-the-mill massage selected from a menu. There is a fairly dreadful review above about a pedicure experience. I have been in those chairs. They are a modified Adirondack chair with pillows, and the basins are very clean and do not have the jets that can harbor bacteria. I don't know the woman who did the pedicure, but I have never felt forced to leave any treatment area. I'm not certain why the issue wasn't addressed then and there or why the reviewer hasn't responded to the co-owners attempts to reach her and make this right, but some people prefer the strip mall nail salon approach...and, you won't find it at Beaufort Day Spa. If you read the other reviews, I think you'll find a better description at what you will find in this spa. Enjoy! read more

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of visiting the Beaufort Day Spa. The staff was very gracious. I watched how they interacted with the other guess. Even when someone came in with a sour look on their face this did not discourage the Beaufort Day Spa staff from showing each guest their best smiles and wiliness to help. They answered questions and were very easy to talk to. The young lady that was assigned to me was a very sweet person as they all were and she even laughed at my jokes. A friend of mine asked about my experience there and I did recommend them and will express to whomever wants to know where to go if you want great service and great hospitality this is the place to go. They are people persons and everyone seems to love what they do. That is when you get the best service. read more

The facility itself houses a decent size fitness room, a large outdoor pool, and spa services. I was greeted warmly and escorted to the ladies "locker room". It was a very well equipped and aesthetically pleasing space complete with sauna, showers, lavatories, and lockers. I was provided with a luxurious robe and slippers. I stored my personal belongings there and then headed to the spa service area. The atmosphere was comforting and the room was nicely furnished. After a brief chat with my therapist, we were off to the massage room. Before Covid, I regularly sought out this service but because of the pandemic, I had not participated in this activity for months. Michelle was outstanding, listened to all my requests and found my pressure tolerance quickly. I felt so much better afterwards. The release of tension, knots, and stress was instantaneous. I was hooked and reserved a spot for the following week. Even though the prices are substantially higher than Massage Envy, it's hard not to appreciate the extra perks a customer gets i.e. use of the sauna, the pool and the fitness room for the day of your service. These are definitely value added incentives for you to enjoy without being a club member. The best part too was that for a couple of hours, I felt like I was on vacation. In actuality, I was just a very short drive from home and I felt sooooooo much better.

I finally found Nails.com through a friend and they are wonderful. I have extremely thin nails and most salons drill your nails into pulp. My last dipping powder manicure, 6 months ago, left my nails tender and with a 'ring of fire' all the way across every nail. NO SUCH PROBLEM at Nails.com. I explained my concerns to the nail tech and she was extremely gentle. I got a French dip and my nails are beautiful. No tenderness and the nails are consistent in length and design.
