Went for a massage today because I have had a gift card since my birthday. Definitely glad I had a gift card because their prices are steep! I've been getting massages in Houston for the last 25 years and I've never had to pay as much for services as I saw on their menus. It clearly states you can get a discount if you're a member, but if you're not, you're going to pay almost double for the exact same services!! This is a red flag for me as it tends to take advantage of people who aren't as prepared or in the know. Being close to Valentine's Day I set up an appointment for my wife as well and we were on our way. At sign in, it's what you would expect beforehand, questions pertaining to health and such and questions to help guide the massage therapist but that doesn't matter because there's no mention of seeing what you selected, they just ask again. When we started the massage, my therapist entered the room and with no warning at all, throws a hot ass towel on my bare back. Not hot enough to scald mind you, but hot enough that you would want some warning beforehand. YIKES! Little to no communication from here on out. The only real positive is that she actually worked on the sections we discussed even though I feel like I didn't get much relief. At the end, as she was walking out, she says," you'll get more benefits with added sessions." Little to no consultation, education, or additional information were given or offered, afterwards. It's really just all about getting you back in for more appointments as opposed to fixing your problems. All in all, I would suggest finding another spot where the people and prices are little more welcoming and you can get some education or insight as to what's causing your problem and not just a suggestion of more sessions. And with prices like these, that's exactly what's keeping them in business. I'll definitely stick to my little independent places from now on so I feel like I'm supporting an actual small business. read more

I have been being massaged by Toshia since 2022 and I could not be happier. She is in tune with all the quirks of my body and never fails to provide me with relief. She is an expert with her hands, bamboo, and stretching. I don't know what I'd do without her. The front desk staff is always friendly and warm to all the customers. Wish I could give NO stars. Received a massage package from a friend as a gift. Started at the Massage Envy off of Hwy 6 and Hwy 529. Experienced 3 different "LMT" and I don't think these Therapists are LICENSED?!!? Where to I begin... okay, well to begin they do NOT ground themselves (which by the way is VERY important to the SAFETY of clients to ensure they don't leave feeling worse than they came)! Secondly the "LMT" get to choose how much pressure they qualify for. And the last "LMT" located off of Northwest Fwy I encountered had the audacity to say and I quote "she doesn't do percussion"! THIS is, I repeat, this is A BASIC technique which EVERY Massage Therapist LEARNS in school!! That's when I asked her to end my Massage! Wth ? Spoke with Management only to find, she's a LMT who has been working 13 years and seems to just be getting by. NOT to mention she UNCOVERED me completely in her DRAPING process! For 13 years she hasn't tried to better her knowledge?! It seemed like no Therapist is an ALL-AROUND trainedThere's no THERAPY in these places. Just people looking to make money. And that is SAD. To continue, LMT was so bad I felt like I was in Physical Therapy as much as she stretched my extremities. Not saying that's a bad thing. Just trying to paint a picture. Wish I could speak to General Management. I could share some pointers on how to get returning customers. From what I've experienced out of my 4 Therapists and 5 secessions it's not hard to understand why people don't return. So if you've visited one of these locations; and find you left feeling worse than you went it's most likely they weren't grounded and you took on others people's situations! I am a massage snob. Granted, I used to be a massage therapist, so my expectations are high. I like my massages like I give them, with a point. My point is almost always "work the crap out of my ......" meaning, I want a REAL deep massage. I want someone who can read the muscles they are working on. I don't want to be fluffed. What pisses me off the most is a therapist who is rubbing tissue all day long and still cannot feel the difference (or simply doesn't care) between healthy tissue and a knot or something that needs extra attention. That being said, there are few out there who are good. Tammy, at this location, is one such therapist. She's got experience and she can read your tissue. She stops on knots or sore spots and works them out. When you ask her to go deeper, she does. One other therapist at this location who is awesome is Patricia. The only downside is her severely small schedule. Last time I asked, she was only working Thursdays. While it's great for her, it is usually no good for me. :( I went to her when my hamstring was really messed up. She spent a ton of time and pressure working on that leg and it was exactly what I asked for and needed. And that's what makes a good therapist. Don't settle for massage crap, keep looking for a good one because there are a few of them out there! read more

I just moved down to Cypress and have a membership to ME so decided to schedule a massage! First of all, the store itself and the front staff was great. I got checked in and out but a man I believe is the manager. I normally look on yelp before trying a new place like this to find a person to go to but there weren't many reviews so I just booked with whoever. I have some bad knots in my neck/back and so I took the first appointment they had that worked with my schedule. My therapist was Susanne who was a sweet lady but my massage experience was not good. I have been getting massages for awhile and used to work at a Massage Envy so I am pretty familiar with how things are supposed to go. First of all, i was taken back about 10 minutes late. I started face up and she was massaging the very front of my neck to where I couldn't breathe and it hurt, I could also smell cigarettes which I was not a fan of. The draping and undraping made me feel uncomfortable. I got exposed more than I would have liked and at one point she was massaging underneath the blanket which I know is a huge no no. As for the massage, she never asked how the pressure was and it felt more like she was rubbing lotion on me rather than massaging me. She tried to work out the knots but just kind of gave up and told me she wouldn't be able to. I talked to the same guy who checked me in when I was checking out and he was very nice and apologetic. I was fully prepared to use one of my sessions but he didn't charge me which I appreciated. I scheduled another session for someone else later this week and i hope to update my review to a better one! read more

Had to add another name to the Massage Envy list. "Albert." I went to him with specific issues neck/lower back and told him to get after it. It was not a "fluff" massage but true therapy. He worked out the issues and was diligent about making sure he took care of the knots and stiffness. Thank you Albert not just for being a great MT but also careing about your clients! read more

Very basic massage. Patrick applied the right amount of pressure. Started at 2:05 ended at 2:56... so the timing was off. Got the 10$ foot scrub which was ok but you can get that at the nail shop. Won't be back. read more

I have been to 3 different locations but I must say this Tomball location has been the BEST. The entire staff has always been very cheerful, friendly and professional. Book yourself a 1 1/2 hour session with arouma therapy and you will feel wonderfully relaxed. Hope you enjoy! read more

I've been to multiple Massage Envy locations around Texas and this one is by far the best location that I have come across. Not to mention my favorite masseuse is here and has the best massaging hands around! The staff are nice, not too much and not too little. read more
