8.26.24 Decided to treat myself to a facial today. I have been here before when they first opened and had a Yelp event. I really enjoyed it then and never went back. I don't know why. On August 26 I had a facial and derma-facial done. It was 60 minutes and was so relaxing. My face feels so clean and it glows. I am terrible with names and I forgot my esthetician name. I'm so sorry. She did not introduce herself and I asked during my facial. Anyway, she was great. Face to Face Spa does a lot of other services as well. They offer several different kinds of facials, Botox, waxing, weight loss injections, lashes, peels and brow tinting. F to F also has a membership program for discounts off your services. I was coming here for 6 months due to signing up for the membership.. I wanted to give them a chance.. so I kept going even after the many occasions where I left unsatisfied. They kept giving me the same esthetician too and I didn't want to be mean even though she didn't do a good job. Don't get me wrong, the staff is nice but I feel like they do lazy work and don't want to get all the way in there. If you can see from my pics, there's still acne and this pic was taken right after I walked out!!! I usually go to another place and my face would be flawless right after. They really dig into your skin and take out all the pimples. Every time I leave this place, my skin still feels dirty or barely touched. I always get the Ultimate VIP Facial but have tried the chemical peel, microdermabrasion, and even hydra facial. Not one facial left me feeling cleansed. Really such a letdown. read more

I wasn't impressed. Especially not for the money. I received a gift for a facial and booked my appointment. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful and answered all my questions. The aesthetician was nice as well. They offer a bunch of different services but I opted for a new client special with microdermabrasion. Basically the equivalent of their deluxe medi facial. There was no discussion beforehand of my skin or the different options they had available, no mention of products or anything. I went this week for the $99 facial special plus chemical peel or microdermabrasion. The esthetician (Valerie) suggested a flower something mask instead of the peel or derma. She said it was going to help my skin with texture and dullness. Most of the time she spent giving me an upper massage and when doing extractions she used a metal tool which was so painful. She only addressed my noise and forehead. I left there with a painful face. I did not notice a change to my skin at all and I still had pimples and blackheads on my cheeks that were not extracted. The next day I woke up with 2 small bumps on my forehead. Very disappointed! It felt like a shoulder arm massage not a true facial. read more

This was my first time ever getting a facial professionally done and I decided that a facial with derma planing is what I needed. The staff were nice however there were some scheduling errors that made my day a little bit more stressful than necessary. Overall, pretty good service and massage. At first I couldn't tell the difference; however, everyone else could and and day 2/3 I lovedddd my skin. First , any business that's been reviewed by its current employees people should be weary off! The owner of this business posted 5 star review on Google to her self using her full name than responded to her self with same name And with her last name initial as the owner of the business. I am mostly mad at myself for not looking up this business before behind buying their services! This business Face to Face Spa at Towne Lake in Cypress TX has two of its current employees that have reviewed the business here on yelp! And few others reviews are from close friends and family members! A bit more deceiving business practice than what I noticed after my session and post my session the more I look up about this business the more it look like very deceiving business and I am more upset at my self for not looking them up before hand. I wish I had read all the reviews before going in especially one that customer claims that her face was burned to second degree by the owner of this business, but it's the response from the corporate office that surprised me , that a business owner or it's corporate associate responded in such unprofessional manner to the Customer they burned and yes I believe the customer due to finding that I didn't receive service I paid for . I came to this place for first time after not being able to find time to go to different Spa in Cypress TX which is 10 miles away while Face to Face Spa is only 5 minutes away from me. Since it was very different Spa and offers different and pricey services I was not really sure what I wanted or what I needed so I told them that I'll start with the most basic service which apparently includes massage too , I made it clear that I don't want the massage and was excited that my originally estimated session 1 hr will be reduced to 45 minutes, I don't have patience to endure nothing longer than 1 hr the most but aesthetician was adamant to sell me more than I was there in for but I was sure that I want the steam, extraction and exfoliating. Buuut, aesthetician kept on pushy selling tactic trying to sell me lengthier/ bigger package . I stood my ground but when she was done with what I wanted she added few things / layers as a "complimentary" service and dragged my time to 1 hr anyways. Well I just went along because Earlier she during my session she mentioned that she got my white something that was under my face skin on my cheeks , I knew I was not going to buy any of the products because I don't like to put a lot on my face but I figured I'll just go through those 15 minutes extra this time . Than it came to paying for the service I received, receptionist said my total $82.50 and asked if I would add gratuity, of course I did because I felt that I received service worth my money and little extra despite the pushy selling practice added to into the room were I expected to relax and mentally feel what was being done on my face , so I handed $100 bill to the receptionist and told her to just round it up that $17.50 goes as gratuity than I asked for receipt fold it and left. I came home and first wanted to file my receipt but it caught my attention that my $17.50 was not reflected on so called itemized receipt than this got me into checking on my face so I used black light and magnifying glass on my face and was very disappointed to find that none of the white somethings was never extracted from under my face skin as my aesthetician claimed. With that being said l lost trust into this business because if this business did not appreciate enough my gratuity of $17.50 to reflect it on my receipt how can I trust them to touch my face again or trust anything within the walls of their business! The only reason I needed my receipt is for the time of tax preparation but to find that that gratuity was not reflected on there because I don't know is it going to go to the person that I thought initially should receive that gratuity and then if it doesn't show at all on the receipt it's like I never gave it! I have obligation which is to file my taxes and the choice or the way I choose to file my taxes unfortunately requires every penny included to be shown regardless whether it was received or given. With that being said this business seems to me like a very very deceitful business and all focused only on the revenue on selling selling selling disregarding the fact that I said I'm here first time in another words give me the experience of service not selling! Dear Face to Face Spa , I came in and purchased your product already in a form of service so let me go through that experience in peace and then give me freedom of deciding on my own whether I want more of your products or not.
