I've visited this location twice and I love it here. I've been to several other locations in the southwest area, but this location continues to supersede my expectations. First, I like to highlight their level of communication. They call prior to appointment, send a text reminder and personal follow ups after the massage. This is such a stark contrast to my experience at the Aliana location, where they don't call me to notify you that whether or not your appointment is still on until you show up. At this location, someone always picks up the calls and follows through. Great customer service - the receptionists have always been professional, caring and makes you feel like you're very much valued. I have seen Troy and Felipe. They are both excellent therapists for different needs. When I have severe migraines, tension headaches, TMJ pain, trapezes pain, and chronic pain, Troy does an amazing job. After my massage, I felt like I could turn my head further than I could prior to seeing him. His pressure is deep, but that's what I need for those issues. If you would like an overall relaxation massage with firm pressure, Felipe does a great job. It's a little further for me but it's worth the trip. I went into this location today for an hour massage. I received a gift card and was excited to use it however that was the absolute worse massage I've ever had. The lady who did my massage was an older lady. She was nice but definitely not the best. Her hands were cold, the lotion she used on me was cold and the room was cold. This was not a good set up for a massage. The massage tech was coughing throughout my massage AND seemed to have fallen asleep twice. Felipe had a gift! Truly. Felipe is in the right profession. He has very strong hands and uses the entirety of his body to provide you with the best experience. I had never been to this location before and Felipe was the only masseuse available. Once I got to experience how incredible he was, I wondered why he had such availability. Apparently, everyone requests him, so he recently opened his schedule up a little more to be able to take on more clients. I'm not surprised. I will be requesting Felipe again. read more

I cannot even begin to tell you about my history with Massage Envy. I have been a member since 2006, if not earlier, I think. I started as a member at the Massage Envy Woodbridge location, which then decided to move here to this location. I have been coming here regularly since this spot first opened. The reason why I make the hour round trip? My massage therapist. He is the sole reason I have remained a member and will continue to remain a member. I think I've had the same massage therapist for almost five years now. The stories we swap, knowing where my knots are without discussing a thing, and having an ultra pleasant demeanor are all things all massage therapists should strive to be. He works with my schedule, and I work with his. It's a symbiotic relationship, and for this, I am grateful. Because of my massages over the years, I am more attuned to myself. Remember those rollover minutes from Cingular wireless? You can sign up for a membership, and if you don't use the massage for the month, you can rollover into the next month and the next month. As a result, I usually book two-hour massages with no problem. If you can find the right massage therapist, I high recommend coming here! read more

This place is horrible I've been fighting with these people for months canceled my subscription with them months ago like last year signed a paper sent email everything I was supposed to do so at this point the owner never calls the assistant manager never calls the manager never calls what is the deal with these people they keep charging me when I've ask to stop emails to prove I canceled but this is what they said for legal reasons they have to have it on paper so they said I verbally said not to cancel which I didn't do but even if I did the biggest thing is it all has to be on paper they have nothing with me saying not to cancel I can't cancel my card because I have other payments coming out so what should I do go to the BBB and report them file a lawsuit they've been in many so sick of them it's sad that they have stolen 18 months from me and not one call read more

Today, I visited massage envy for the first time. Before I booked my massage session, I went online and checked out the prices. I went in for my massage and they did a great job. When I was checking out the receptionist said it would be $180, but the website for the spring green location stated $105. I thought that it was incorrect, so when I got home I looked at the website again. It does state $105. I called to speak to the receptionist, thinking that I may have been overcharged by accident. The gentleman told me they have not updated their website since Covid started. I told him Covid has been going on in our world for over two years now. The website is extremely misleading and dishonest. I'm sorry that I did business with this massage envy. What should've been $135 ended up being $220. Don't buy from any Massage Envy. They break the contract. If you purchase from them it is not honored from one location to another. They promise your contract us forever and it is not. This is why they've had so many legal issues. Run to anyone but Message Envy. Cheats and Crooks. If you have been subjected to the same broken contract call me. This is my second fight to have them honor my contract but since I moved they said my contract was not good. Not what was said to get me to sign up. I go to this ME regularly and have used several different therapists. Today I had Alice as my massage therapist. Hands down, she gave the best massage I have ever had. She was attentive to my problem areas, inquired to my happiness with the pressure, also asked where I felt my arthritis. She was extremely thorough and she knowledgeable of the anatomy. I had a true full body massage. I left there today feeling fabulous and so happy to have given Alice a try. They asked me to sign up for 1 year and I told them no. I agreed to 6 months.if I remember right I did it for 2 6 months. At the end I asked them if it was the end and they said yes did I want to reup and I told them no because I am moving 3 hours away and the girls at the front desk told me they would miss me. Advance it to now and I am told on the phone I have over $600 credit with them that they had been deducting from my account. This is their catch, you can tell them all day you don't want then anymore but the contract says it has to be in writing! Of course I was not told that when I told them goodbye and I did not remember seeing that clause. Now I have to drive 60 miles round trip to a massage envy to use what they owe me. BEWARE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS MASSAGE ENVY. When I told the manager my circumstance all she would say was that I signed a contract . Then she has the nerve to tell me they would be happy to have me come back to their massage envy to do my massages, knowing it would be a 6 hour round trip! I SPECIFICALLY asked for neck and shoulder massage due to work stress and they never touched my shoulders and I think they touched my neck for less than a minute while I was on my back.........I also asked for my feet to be rubbed and they rubbed the sole/arch of my foot for several minutes with some sort of tool but nothing else.....No ball of my foot, no nothing. FYI THIS IS LONG .... I just moved here and this facility is less than a mile from my home so it's very conveniently located. My first massage was a one star, Josefa, was her name. I wasn't taken back until ten minutes after my appointment time :( She spoke with a heavy accent so it was hard to communicate efficiently with her on what I needed done even though I filled out an electronic sheet of what my problem areas were. She went over it quickly, left, had me undress, gave me about 30 seconds to undress and get into the sheets. Once she was back in the room, the lights were not dimmed, no relaxing music. Just her and her squeeze bottle that was empty so all you heard was the farting sound of the bottle over and over. I opted for an exfoliating hand treatment which took up about 15 minutes of the total massage. I thought this would be an extension of the massage, my mistake. NOTE: The massages start about 5 minutes later this give the masseuse time to go over your needs and for you to undress and they end 5 minutes before your hour so that you can dress and gather your things. So you really get a 50 or 80 minute massage. Anyways, after being shorted at least 30 minutes with her lateness, the time taken for the exfoliating treatment, and her lotion bottle fiasco she left me feeling blahh. I will NEVER book an appointment with her nor do I recommend her! *GOOD REVIEW I went back a month later, where I scheduled an appointment with Amanda. SHE WAS AMAZING!! She took me back on time, gave me ample time to undress, made sure to target my problem areas, talked to me about the knots that I had, and made me feel 100% better when I left. :) read more

When I called to schedule my appointment, the scheduler was very nice and verified the location (there are quite a few in this area). AMANDA was my massage therapist and OH MY GOSH she was amazing! Seriously the best massage I have ever had. She takes her time and she did just the right pressure. I've had really bad back/hip pain the last several months and I walked out of there feeling like a new person. I will definitely be going back to see her soon. Massage Envy will never receive any referrals or my business ever again.I had an appointment for 08/22/16@8:30am. I received a callform my bank that I had some fraudulent activity for a large sum of money. I call ME to see if I could move my appointment up an hour or their first available after 10am. I was informed that I could; but had to pay 50% of the bill plus the cost for the new time. They showed no consideration for an event that I had no control over. I was not canceling my appointment just needed to move it to another time slot. My husband and I have been a members for at least 2 years. I called today 11:43am to see if I could get in for a massage this afternoon and was able to get booked for 1:30pm (90min session). I then had to call back at 12:43pm (60mins later) to ask to move it because my baby sitter wouldn't make it on time for me to make the appt. I was told by the manager that I am calling with in the 3hours window stated in their policy and that I would be charged anyway to compensate the therapist. I was not calling to cancel I was calling to move it so I could be there on time. I get rules and stuff but I had JUST made that appt 60mins before I needed to make a change... and they couldn't be flexible despite the FACT that they would've lost money had I not even called in the first place. VERY SNEAKY. Its no wonder they already have lawsuits for unfair practices. Needless to say, instead of me getting my knots worked on, I have more stress added to my day...and a charge for a 90 massage- that I won't be getting. My complaint is only for this location as the Westheimer Pkwy has always been so much better at their customer service. My advice is just a warning. Heads up if you think they care. read more
