I've been a member since this location first opened, and it used to be decent. Unfortunately, over the last year it has gone completely downhill. You can never get an appointment. I've tried repeatedly, weeks and months, with no success. Meanwhile, they continue billing me every month. I now have 10 months of paid services banked that I haven't been able to use. To make matters worse, if you cancel your membership, you lose all that money. So you're stuck paying for services you can't schedule, or forfeiting hundreds of dollars. That feels incredibly deceptive. This membership has become a complete rip-off. If they don't have the staff or availability to support members, they shouldn't be selling memberships. Do NOT recommend joining. read more

I have been meaning to leave this review for quite some time. I have been a Massage Envy member for over 10 years and have visited many locations, but Maui is just different. You can truly feel the care and aloha from everyone who works here. It is a smaller clinic, so scheduling ahead is smart, but they are wonderful about calling if a cancellation opens up. Lately it's extremely hard to get appointments, I've had my membership for years but decided it wasn't worth it anymore. When wanting to cancel the front girl Rayann kept forcing me to keep it, as if I can't make my decision to end it, she will also leave you lengthy voicemails trying to upsell you which i had requested to have stopped! When i said i couldn't get in and if she could call me for an upcoming opening next month she said it's not her job to follow up, i need to keep track or be put on a list. I've had to get facials cause i can't get any massages. Everyone else is usually very nice and always has been. Just the lack of therapists and encountering one rude upfront sales girl has really made the place lose its points with me. read more

Everything started off well until the massage began and my masseuse fell asleep multiple times during my massage. Yes you read that right. He also sat down most of the time on a stool with wheels and massaged me with one hand. I've never experienced something like that during a professional massage. The 2-stars is for the receptionist who welcomed me with friendliness and profusely apologized at the end when I brought all of the above to her attention. Massage envy is where it's at. Finally a spot for locals in the downtown area. Reasonably priced with a monthly membership. Also, if you can't make it in your credits stack up for future use. The therapist are lol 5 stars in my eyes. They are super professional and friendly. I really enjoy coming to this location. Oahu locations tend to book up really quickly. Kahului tends to be able to squeeze me in on a last minutes notice. Parking is free and out front and there's lots of it. Pro tip is request and tenured therapist that specializes in what your looking for, ex: sports massage, relaxation, lomilomi etc. They also have ads on services like hot towels and essential oils. They also have a vibrating tool that helps loosen up muscles prior to your massage. My favorite is getting lavender oil with a hotel towel. They also offer facials and stretching sessions. read more

I've had a few massages by Kirsti and she is absolutely incredible with her technique, style and ease of making my body feel relaxed. I was able to completely enjoy my massage because she never made my muscles tense up and nothing ever felt painful. I'm a Massage Envy Member from San Diego, CA visiting family who lives in Maui. The location is great with lots of parking spaces and very clean! It's located close to Target. My massage Therapist was Lily and I highly recommend her!! She was amazing and took her time to really get to know you. I have previous injuries and she took her time to really worked those areas that were hurting me. The reason why I have 4 Stars is because of the receptionists. I feel that they are not well prepared. It was my 1st time coming to the location and I arrived 10 mins early to make sure I have time to fill out any paper work. Being a member might mean I'll be doing frequent reviews with ME. I initially signed up with the plan being I'd have an hour session per month to treat myself. What the heck right? I work hard, therefore I can treat myself at least once a month. Well thank goodness their membership allows for unused sessions to be combined and used for a longer session that the normal 60 minute facial or massage. Because I had 3 hours unused, I went online (thank goodness for technology) and scheduled a 90 minute facial on the next available day I had. Which to my surprise was within 3 days. I excitedly counted the hours before my 90 minutes of bliss. As their protocol, I received a text message on Friday reminding me of my 90 minute facial and again...the excitement built up within me. I walk in a 15 minutes prior to my appointment (as they request) and was greeted warmly by their receptionist. After going over the basic information (contact information, health issues, what I expect from my appointment) I was escorted to their tranquility room. After sitting for a few minutes, Caroline greeted me and I followed her to my room. She went over what line she was going to use (Jan Marini Skin Care) and what I would expect during my treatment. She went over the line briefly and mentioned that I would have 2 masks throughout my treatment. Then she mentioned extraction and my "Dr. Pimple Popper" happiness erupted within. I know, gross. But it's a simple pleasure to know that she'd not only treat my face with extra love and happiness, but to know the yuckiness would be removed and cleansed from my face. Immediately after lying down, Christine ensured that I was comfortable. Well covered with a pillow under my knees to take the pressure off of my lower back and a nicely warmed bed with the AC set at the right temperature. I knew I was going enjoy my 90 minutes in heaven. 90 minutes of heaven was what I encountered. From the cleansing, masks, massage to my face, decolletage, arms and hands. I fell asleep during the massage portion. I do hope I wasn't doing my manly snore. I have a high tolerance for pain, so the extraction wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be. Christine did mention that because it's been awhile since I've had a facial, she did some deep extractions to make sure I was "clean". Again, this is one of my favorite parts of a facial and although it can be a bit painful, be mentally prepared for it and it'll pass by in a second. Christine then applied a mask on and as it dried, she then went ahead and did a mini massage to my decolletage, arms and hands. I believe this is where I may have snoozed into lala land for a bit. I must say when I thought she was finished, I was wrong. There was more applications of moisturizers, serums, etc. And all throughout these processes my face was getting the full treatment of massages and soaking in all of the happy, goodness that Christine was applying. At the 90 minute mark, my heavenly adventure ended and although I was a bit saddened, I felt refreshed, clean and ready to concur the world. I was nice and relaxed and looked forward what the rest of my day had in store for me. I really must say it's such a deal to be a member and have the luxury of either a massage, facial or stretch to choose from. The staff is wonderful and the facility is clean. If I had one suggestion for ME is that if the staff and clientele was walking through the halls to use soft tones. I am a Massage Envy member from one of the first ones opened in Oahu. I thoroughly enjoy Massage Envy and have used my membership while traveling Nation-wide. I feel like it adds the cherry to top off all my trips. I made a trip to Maui and was glad I did. They were busy and pretty booked up. Like any amazing business the demand is high and the supply can seem low. Thankfully I called in advanced and was able to get an appointment! It was SOOOOOOOO worth the call in advance! Like EVERY Hawaii Massage Envy location the experience was amazing! I entered to a very warm welcome and left feeling 1000% better! Desk girls have no aloha and made us feel super unwelcome, got the vibe that they only want to cater to other transplants like themselves.. then try sales pitch to get us to join a membership, making my wife uncomfortable by asking "why not?!" When we declined the membership! Everyone knows that's unacceptable from a salesperson . Massage therapist was sweet and I don't mean to put her down but I asked for an hard massage and it wasn't even close and only lasted 45 minutes when I paid for an hour. I've had the opportunity to get the best massages from the very best, because of Massage Envy. Each staff is responsive, thoughtful, and extremely professional. I have a very busy schedule so getting a massage is the last thing on my mind. Thankfully, the front desk associates will call me to ask if I would like to use my hours that I have accumulated. If and when you can get in to get a massage I have been very satisfied. I have been canceled the day of the massage and was unable to schedule a new massage for three weeks. They've completely oversold this program for the number of masseuses they have. If you want a massage scheduled a month ahead this is OK. Been a member since they opened. So far, i'm quite pleased. Massage: Kristin is an excellent masseuse. My experience with her was seamless, relaxing, and very enjoyable. I stack up my credits so i can enjoy the 90 min massages...60 min is never enough IMO. Facial: Jeryl was an awesome estheticians. My treatment was very enjoyable and relaxing. Check in/ Check out: Check in goes seamlessly, but Check out always seems to be slow/ a bummer.. Since everything is already paid for ( i have a membership), it would be nice to just leave after my massage instead of waiting to check out. I've gotten many massages from all different types of establishments, and payment is always done in the beginning. Last thing i want to do after a nice relaxing massage is sit around and wait and become irritated. They should consider changing this process. Overall, i am enjoying my membership. read more

Thanks to my daughter I am a club member and had accumulated a couple of hours worth of treatments so when I found myself aching from a rough couple of weeks, I booked a 90 minute session with a new therapist named Marsha. Upon checking in I was asked if I'd like to do a 2 hour session instead...DUH of course I said SURE and was a little giddy because I'd never had a 2 hour before! Well...lemme tell you...though she is a tiny little thing, Marsha is...MIGHTY! She was very communicative, strong and exceptionally intuitive. I am still experiencing the benefits of that massage which was a week ago. I already booked my next 2 hour in November and look forward to having Marsha as my therapist again! read more
