Be careful with the memberships. They will tell you they offer certain things, but don't have the therapist to do them. They offer certain times but don't honor them. 30 or an hour. May 1, 2019 I had a massage and facial today. Started a 6 minutes late but apparently the woman at the front desk had not checked me in. She was more focused on if my account was current or not (which it was). After checking my account status she pointed me to the relaxation room. I sat there and drank a few cups of water. I had Chrissy for the massage and she was great. The first time I've had someone not do my arms to focus on other areas because she knew they would be done during the facial so that was nice and considerate. Very nice and personable. I had Tara for my facial. She was nice. Detailed. My only concern is that when I left and got in my car whatever was the last cream she put on my face, it was not rubber in completely. I've been a member for over six years and I've always loved the services. However, since I have been having Cristiana do my massages I have truly taken my healing to a new level. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I would never let anybody touch my hands because it was so painful. Christiana has been working with my hands and they are straightening out for the first time in 15 years. I am so very thankful for her gentle healing touch. Place is run down. Carpet is old and damp. Facility had a weird smell. I was cold the entire time. Not very relaxing at all.

BUYER BEWARE! If you sign up for their membership, they can change your monthly charges without your approval. Also, since they were closed during COVID, my sessions built-up. They offer a "freeze-plus" option that will allow you to use your session as long as you are willing to pay $10/month (for something that you've already paid for). You either have to pay for the freeze-plus or go back to your regular monthly fee if you want to use your sessions. Then after you've been on 'freeze-plus' for 6 months, they will automatically start charging you the full monthly membership fee and will not refund your money if you call and tell them that you didn't want to go back on full-membership. I believe that this is an illegal action, since they closed their doors during COVID and you didn't have an option to use your sessions. I highly advice not joining any Massage Envy. read more

do not spend your money here! I booked a 60 minute facial in person on a Saturday for the next day. The person at the front desk confirmed it would be a 60 minute facial which I thought was good for $125. I have had several facials in the past, and I only came here because I was visiting from out of town. I arrived 10 minutes early to complete my paperwork and the. proceeded to wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes. The lady came to get me to bring me to my room 10 minutes after the start of my appointment (12:00). We went over allergies and skin care for about 5 minutes and then she started the facial. Then the facial was over meaning I was walking out of the room at 12:51. This meant that the 60 minute facial I paid for was actually only 30-35 minutes. I voiced this concern when I went to pay at the front desk to be told well really the service is 45 minutes with 15 minutes of discussing skin care, allergies, etc. This still does not add up as I was in the room for 40 minutes start to finish. The girl at the front desk would not change the cost even though I received half of the service promised and paid for. She then asked if I wanted to add gratuity to which I said absolutely not. I will never go to a Massage Envy again! Definitely learned my lesson! Local estheticians are much better and will give you your moneys worth! read more

Even before the pandemic appointments were almost impossible to get unless booking 30+ days out. They are quick to sell you a membership but never mention they never have any openings. I had so many "credits" built up I put my membership on hold-still paying $10 a month. I have 6 months to use all my credits before they disappear. The worst! Avoid at all costs! My back was out and I was in horrible pain. I called early Monday morning and got scheduled for 2:30 the same afternoon. At 11:17am they texted and Teresa left a voicemail and said they had to cancel as their massage therapist was out sick. Turns out she hadn't been to work in months, due to the corona virus. Not sure why in the world they would schedule me with someone who hasn't been there in months. I had a babysitter lined up, and desperately needed some relief. I opted not to renew after the expiration of my 12 month contract (initial term). They are still auto-drafting my account 3 months after I provided written notice per their contract. I have called, I have emailed, I have filed a BBB complaint, I have disputed the charges with my bank, I have disputed the charges online, they are still taking money and it's not resolved. I have never seen anything like this in my life. Do not ever sign a contract with these people. The only way to stop them from taking money is to apparently close your bank account and open a new one. You'll never be refunded the money they have stolen. I will next be filing a complaint with the FTC and a collection action in small claims court. read more

I called the Mount Juliet location in early January to make a prenatal massage appointment. I was told the earliest they could get me in on a weekend was February 9, so I booked that. I waited the whole month (which is a long time when you are pregnant and really want a massage,) and they called me the night before saying that they had to cancel my appointment. They said they could reschedule, for THE END OF MARCH. Uh, what? That is awful customer service. I cried, because I am hormonal and really wanted that massage. My husband, being the genius that he is, suggested I try one in a different part of town. So, that same night I called the West End ME, and they booked me for the next morning!! These folks do a good job taking care of me. Teresa, front desk manager was especially helpful to me today. I have been a member here for a few months now. I ran into some kinks understanding the membership policies but once I understood, it makes sense. They always accommodate me. The ladies at the front desk are attentive and the services I have received have been very good. Jessica has done my facials and not only is she talented and knowledgeable, she is a delightful person! Kim gives the most amazing massages and talks with me about self care between massages. She has good advice. They both seem to really care about what they do and about taking care of their customers. I do wish there were more massage therapist options. Kim stays booked, so I have booked ahead for every month through the end of the year! It's a great value for the money. I'm a lifer. read more

I have been calling the number on the website since December 2021 For the mount Juliet massage envy. no one has ever awnsered. Ever. I Would say many weeks I've called multiple days multiple times. and have left messages on multiple occasions but I have never gotten a Call back. ive called multiple times a month trying to speak to someone on what therapist would work well for me since I moved here in December. I decided to go up there in person to make an appointment just now as I've had a membership for years. I rarely ever leave reviews. but this warranted one for sure. I'm still sitting in my car outside. there were 3 ladies at the desk. when I walked up to the desk I advised the lady I could not reach anyone on the phone and wanted to schedule an appointment. mind you I should not have to drive there in person to make a reservation. the older lady to the right rudely said we don't have any appointments available and we dont have any openings til sepetembet and we aren't booking out that far. I wanted to say. did I ask you for an appointment right now. but I refrained. she was rude and gave me the card with their phone number on it. it was the same number I had been calling. I called it and the young girl in the middle answered the phone and said I always awnser. and I said.. not when I've called the last 7 months. she told the older rude lady that if the man doesn't show I can have his spot. the rude lady never acknowledged the young girl even said anything. I would have liked to have been greeted nicely when walking in the door. and it would have been a nice gesture to apologise I've had difficulty reaching them. but nothing but the opposite for the lady rudely giving me their card with their number on it. the manager could give training on how to run this place as well as how someone at the front could help people with a kind greeting. Not assuming and casting judgement the minute someone walks through the door. maybe she has had a difficult life and I should show her some grace. However this location has lost my business. My wife and I have been here one time each, but both of us thought the same thing. The massage was very good and environment very relaxing, BUT, I was sitting in the waiting room for 15-20 minutes after my massage was supposed to start. This was kind of counter productive to the relaxation that I was supposed to be feeling. I was getting more and more concerned about when they were going to get started. Only go if you're willing to be strapped to them for at least a year. Misty, the manager, is wonderful. The corporation, however, is rigid and unflinching in the way they handle contracts. You will be stuck with them if you sign anything. If they would take a lesson from this manager, who is far better at customer service than anyone else there, this company might not have so many negative reviews online. She's doing it right, but I wouldn't recommend doing business with Massage Envy unless you're serious about that 12 month contract. read more
